Abstract

A flush-mounted box for mounting and housing a sanitary fitting is proposed, on whose side walls slidably mounted and guided a sleeve. The cuff can be telescoped out of the flush-mounted box until it reaches a maximum possible extension position. The invention relates to a flush-mounted box for mounting and housing a sanitary fitting.

It is known that so-called flush-mounted boxes used to attach sanitary fittings under plaster, which should protect the actual fitting during the completion of the wall. Partly can also be mounted in such flush-mounted faucet body on which the actual fittings are placed later. The shape of these flush boxes does not have to be an actual box shape, it can also be cylindrical or otherwise formed.

The flush-mounted boxes are usually dimensioned so that their side walls protrude beyond the later wall surface for all possible applications. To solve this problem, the invention proposes a flush-mounted box with the features mentioned in claim 1 and the use of such a flush-mounted box for the installation and placement of a sanitary fitting. Further developments of the invention are the subject of dependent claims.

The flush-mounted box, which may have any shape, contains in the side walls at least one passage opening through which a supply line to the valve can be passed within the flush-mounted box. The cuff, which can be moved from the side walls to the front or from the top to the outside, makes it possible to move the front edge out as far as possible at the beginning of the assembly, thereby ensuring the protection of the interior during the completion of the wall.
