Description
Die Erfindung geht aus von einer Vorrichtung mit den im Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 angegebenen Merkmalen, wie sie aus der
Derartige Vorrichtungen werden beispielsweise in Fahrzeugen benötigt, um wässrige Flüssigkeiten, in der Regel Mischungen aus Wasser und einem Frostschutzmittel, beispielsweise Glykol, zu erwärmen. Dabei stellt sich das Problem, das relativ große Energiemengen möglichst gleichmäßig und rasch in die zu erwärmende Flüssigkeit eingebracht werden sollen. Eine punktuelle Erwärmung der Flüssigkeit sollte möglichst vermieden werden, da eine solche zu einer lokalen Überhitzung und Zersetzung der Flüssigkeit führen kann. Leistungsverluste durch Strahlung oder Wärmeabgabe an Umgebungsluft können so vorteilhaft minimiert werden. Vorteilhaft können die Heizstäbe auf diese Weise auf ihrer gesamten Umfangsfläche mit den beiden Schalen in wärmeleitendem Kontakt stehen, so dass die von den Heizstäben erzeugte Wärme besonders effizient an die beiden Schalen und von diesen an zu erwärmende Flüssigkeit abgeführt werden kann. Möglich ist es dabei, das nur eine der beiden Schalen an ihrer Unterseite Nuten aufweist, während die andere Schale eine glatte Unterseite hat. Bevorzugt haben aber beide Schalen an ihrer Unterseite Nuten. Die Heizstäbe können dabei jeweils auf der Hälfte ihres Umfangs an der betreffenden Schale anliegen. Besonders bevorzugt sind beide Schalen gleich ausgebildet. Auf diese Weise lässt sich eine kostengünstige und effiziente Fertigung realisieren.
