Description

The invention relates to a wall plaster made of a cement or a cement containing mortar with embedded untreated, coating-free straw fibers. The The invention also relates to a method for producing a wall plaster.

In diesem Zusammenhang ist die Verwendung verschiedener Naturfasern bereits vorgeschlagen worden, unter anderem von Baumwollfasern (DE 36 07 438), Fruchthaaren des Kapokbaumes (DE 195 06 868) oder Fasern aus Bast, Hanf, Mais und dergleichen als Bewehrung für einen Baustoff (DE 197 36 527).Wall plasters are provided with reinforcement made of embedded fibers in order to prevent yourself from sticking to an inner wall or an outer wall optionally applied with the interposition of a thermal barrier coating Plaster layer form cracks because the plaster layer is caused by heat or weather Stretches of the inner or outer wall or the insulation layer can not follow. The Reinforcement is also said to crack during swelling or shrinkage in the Prevent plaster layer. In this context, the use is different Natural fibers have already been proposed, including cotton fibers (DE 36 07 438), fruit hair of the kapok tree (DE 195 06 868) or fibers Bast, hemp, corn and the like as reinforcement for a building material (DE 197 36 527).

The disadvantage is that natural fibers containing cellulose in the alkaline environment of Plasteres are attacked and rot over time, reducing their strength decreases. That is why it has already been proposed to use an insulation screed for Store flooring natural fibers that are resistant to attack by cement or other binders are protected by a coating (DE 925 195). at thermal insulation construction parts made of a mineral binder embedded natural fibers from reeds, straw, sisal, hemp, cotton and the like It has been proposed to use the natural fibers before storing them in the binder suitable anti-rot agents and other property regulating agents Treat materials (DE 44 02 912). Untreated straw fibers are considered Reinforcement for insulation boards has been proposed, the binders of which are exclusive consists of natural and / or synthetic latices (DE 198 10 862).

A wall plaster of the type described at the beginning (DE 196 24 149 A1) is said to be stored filling material, e.g. B. solids, fibers and the like., Special Surface effects result, so this wall plaster can replace a wallpaper. He should can only be used inside, but not as exterior plaster. There are also ready-made clay plasters  known that contain dried and cut straw as an additive (DE 296 03 687 A1; DE 295 18 567 A1).

The object of the invention is to provide a wall plaster that is simple to produce, that remains permanently crack-free even under extreme weather-related stress.

This object is achieved in that the straw fibers consist of knot-free sections of wheat straw fibers. Surprisingly, the alkaline environment in the cement or cement-containing mortar or plaster has a positive effect on the properties of the wheat straw fibers. This is attributed to the fact that wheat straw fibers have a relatively large content of reactive silica (SiO 2 ) and, accordingly, pozzolana properties. They therefore act as a hydraulic additive to the cement or mortar, in that free lime is converted into calcium silicates by the silica. At the same time, the tensile and compressive strength of the wheat straw fibers increases, without their ductility being adversely affected. Due to the chemical reactions taking place, there is also a good bond between the mineral binder and the embedded wheat straw fibers, as well as protection against rotting. The wall plaster according to the invention can consequently follow all thermally or weather-related expansions of the substrate or the plaster layer without cracking. The wheat straw fibers can preferably have a length of 10 to 25 mm.

The invention also relates to a method for producing a wall plaster. The The method is characterized in that the cement or mortar is dry with the wheat straw fibers are mixed and then mixed with water becomes. In particular, 100 parts by weight of cement or mortar with 1.5 to 2.5 parts by weight of wheat straw fibers are mixed. In a preferred one Execution will be 100 parts by weight of cement or mortar with 2 parts by weight Wheat straw fibers mixed.

In the following an embodiment shown in the drawing Invention explained; show it:

Fig. 3 shows schematically a section through a plastered wall.

A comparison of FIGS. 1 and 2 shows that the tensile strength of wheat straw fibers increases considerably in an alkaline environment. This also applies if wheat straw fibers are embedded as reinforcement in a wall plaster made of mineral binders.

In Fig. 3 you can see a wall 1 as a load-bearing surface on which a thermal insulation 4 is fixed with an adhesive mortar layer 2 and dowels 3 . On the thermal insulation 4 , a wall plaster 5 according to the invention is worn, which is covered with a top plaster 6 .

To produce the wall plaster 5 , 100 parts by weight of cement or mortar are dry mixed with 2 parts by weight of wheat straw fibers. The mixture is then mixed with water and then applied to the outside of the thermal insulation 4 . When the wall plaster 5 has achieved sufficient strength, the top plaster 6 is applied.

The wall plaster 5 can follow all thermal or weather-related expansions of the thermal insulation 4 without cracks, because the wheat straw fibers have pozzolanic properties due to their considerable silicic acid content (SiO 2 ) and the silicic acid reacts with the lime of the mineral binder such that the formation of calcium silicates Bond between the wheat straw fibers and the mineral binder is improved and the tensile strength of the wheat straw fibers is increased without the risk of rotting.
