Abstract

The system to prevent a backflow of waste water and sewage at a building, in flood conditions, has a sewage outflow housing with a float (4). The float (4) is at a guide (5) which, under a counter pressure, blocks sewage outflow from the building and prevents an inflow from the sewage drains as long as water runs against the outflow direction in the backflow barrier. The float head is a hemisphere with a larger diameter than the outflow pipe (3) to give a complete seal on high water, and is constantly flushed to ensure a complete sealing action.

Description

Er ist genau unter dem Abflussrohr platziert und wird so von dem Wechsel zwischen stark und weniger verschutztem Abwassers ständig sauber gespült, damit er im Ernstfall richtig dichtet. Fig. 2.
