Abstract
The invention relates to a granulated, slag-forming mixture for continuous casting of steels of all kinds. To improve the heat-insulating properties is located in the interior of the granule a per se known gassing agent whose evaporation point is lower than the melting point of the granule shell.
Description
Anwendungsgebiet der ErfindungField of application of the invention
The invention relates to a granulated, slag-forming mixture for the continuous casting of St.ihlen of all kinds.
Granulated casting aids are mainly used because of their low tendency to develop in the process of adding to the mold and their better allocation on devices for casting Gtahi. Disadvantages compared to the powdery casting aids exist in a field of thermal insulation, caused by larger grain dimensions. With hollow spherical casting aids, this disadvantage has been limited because the trapped air acts heat-insulating. However, during the layered melting of the hollow spherical casting aids, air trapped inside the hollow sphere can not completely escape. Due to the good heat insulation, it is difficult to achieve sufficient heating to the upper layers of the abandoned Gioßhilfsmittels. A decrease in the melting rate is the Fo ge and a balance between melting speed and Abzugsgeschwindipkeit the slag is very difficult to comply. The production of fully spherical particles for a sufficient thermal insulation of maximum G, 5mm is often a problem The production of such small particle sizes by spraying, pelleting, inter alia, is always of low abrasion resistance and is;. .. l dusty conditions ve r prevented. In order to obtain an absolutely dust-free product, additional measures are necessary in order to obtain a product. Simply increasing the diameter of the full-grain particles of the granulated casting aid did not make sense, since then the desired thermal insulation resembles.
Gemäß DD-PS 24C260 ist ein wärmedämmendec Abdeckgranulat in Kugelform bekannt, dessen Kern aus blühfähigem und dessen Mantel aus wärmeorzeugendem Material besteht, wobei im Kern den Blühvorgang fördernde gasabgebende Stoffe wie Kohle, Altöl, Karbonate eingelagert sindAccording to DD-PS 24C260 a heat-insulating cover pellets is known in spherical form, the core of which is flowable and whose coat of heat generating material, wherein in the core the flowering promoting gas-emitting substances such as coal, waste oil, carbonates are stored
Dieses Granulat ist als Gießpulver nicht geeignet. This granulate is not suitable as a casting powder.
In DE-OS 2350244 a carbon-free casting powder for strand and Kokillenguß is described, that thereby gekonnzeichnet that it contains additives individually or to several, which decompose completely on heating to gas formation already at temperatures up to 600 C and a pressure of 1 atm , However, this carbon-free casting powder is not present as granules.
Ziel der ErfindungObject of the invention
The object of the invention is the development of a granulated, slag billowing gnuiscbos with all its advantages but with better heat-insulating property during the pre-punching of steel.
Task of the invention is to provide a coarse-grained, s jhlackebildendes mixture / continuous casting of steel that is destroyed before reaching the melt flow in its grain size.
According to the invention the object is achieved in that granules are produced in a particle size range 0.5-2mm, in the interior of which selectively enriched components we; ^ at, dio at temperatures below the onset of melt flow destroy the granules and thus achieve the heat-insulating properties of powder mixtures. Occurring dust particles are retained by the overlying granulate layers. Due to the higher specific surface area present after the destruction of the coarse-grained particles, the necessary pre-slagging speed is given.
Dio invention will be explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment.
Hauptanteil 0,2~O,5mm U'UJ 0,5-1,2mm, Hauptanieil 0,8-1,2mm vergossen. Im Granulat 0,5-1,2mm war im Innern der Granulate ein allgemein beVanntes organisches,It was steel with vollkugelformigen granules of grain sizes 0.2-0.8mm. Main part 0,2 ~ O, 5mm U'UJ 0,5-1,2mm, main lot 0,8-1,2mm potted. In granules 0.5-1.2mm inside the granules was a generally known organic,
In behavior on the bath level of the mold and consumption, both materials do not differ from each other. The granules with a main proportion of 0.5-1.2 mm should be used directly from the manufacturing process; As a result, there are no spreading grooves due to grain fractionation
In ther'mischen investigations shows that the coarse-grained granules, in which α> s organic material is enriched, at 900 c C tear at the surface and finely decompose at temperatures above 1000 C C. ie, almost powdery granules are present.
