Description
Indikátor napětí pro střídavé soustavy vysokého napětíVoltage indicator for high voltage AC systems
Oblast technikyTechnical field
The present invention relates to a voltage indicator for high voltage AC systems, such as high voltage power distribution equipment, in particular for high voltage systems where continuous voltage monitoring is required.
Dosavadní stav technikyBACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
In the medium-voltage grid, the presence of voltage must be checked continuously. Information about the presence of voltage in the distribution network equipment is necessary both for safety reasons for on-site operation of the equipment, as well as for operating information in systems and remote control and transmission of information to the control center.
Currently, voltage transformers are used for voltage monitoring. However, for mere indication of voltage these measuring transformers are unnecessarily large. In addition, in case of their failure, there is a risk of damage to the cable terminals and high-voltage cables. Resistance dividers are another voltage indication device. In this case too, the equipment installed in the high voltage area is very large. Moreover, in this case, there are problems with galvanic separation of the high voltage from the point where the indicated high voltage is monitored by the operator of the device, and there is a significant risk of introducing the high voltage into other circuits in case of failure.
Podstata technického řešeníThe essence of the technical solution
These disadvantages of the current state are largely solved by the voltage indicator for high voltage AC systems according to the technical solution below, which consists in that the indicator consists of a probe connected by an optical cable to the evaluation unit. The probe consists of a series connection of a first capacitor, an electro-optical converter, and a second capacitor, respectively. The first outlet of the first capacitor is input of the probe and is arranged to be connected to the measured point. The second outlet of the second capacitor is in the air and therefore not connected. The output of the electro-optical converter is connected to the input of the optical cable, whose output is in the evaluation unit, for example, against the photodetector.

Probe I operates on the principle of capacitive voltage divider between the measured point 7 of the electrical equipment and the ground. In this capacitance divider, an electro-optical transducer in the presence of a voltage at the measured point 7 emits a voltage-presence signal. The nominal voltage of the indicator is determined by the parameters of the capacitive divider. The evaluation unit 3 is located in a separate cabinet situated outside the high voltage area. The transmission of the high voltage information to the evaluation unit 3 is effected by an optical cable 2, which also serves to galvanically separate the high voltage circuit from the other circuits. The information about the presence of the voltage which is transmitted to the evaluation unit 3 in the form of the luminous flux transmitted from the electro-optical converter 5 through the optical cable 2 is transformed in this evaluation unit into an electrical signal and controlled, i.e., switched on and off In a preferred embodiment, it is possible to monitor the operation of the indicator by means of indicators, for example light emitting diodes, located on the housing cover of the evaluation unit 3. The green indicator lamp can indicate the presence of supply voltage and the red indicator lamps can report the presence of individual high voltage phases on the monitored electrical equipment. The correct function can be verified by monitoring whether the corresponding indicators on the housing of the evaluation unit 3 are lit or not.
