Abstract

Description

Technical field

The present invention relates to the field of ornamental, in particular costume jewelery, intended to be applied to clothing or other objects, and more particularly to a device for applying decorative elements to a designated location on clothing or other objects.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Decorative flatback elements provided with pressure-sensitive adhesive on the surface are, according to the current practice, fastened behind the plate on an adhesive substrate in a grid (eg square, hexagonal) or in a motif. The grid (pattern) thus prepared is covered with a non-adhesive covering foil. Decorative elements provided with pressure-sensitive adhesive are transferred to the destination from the carrier by means of tweezers or by means of an adhesive carrier.

The prior art has a number of disadvantages if the decorative elements are no longer pre-arranged in the final pattern (so-called motif), which is transferred to the decorated object simply by pressing with the fingers after the cover foil has been removed.

The transfer of individual decorative elements with tweezers is demanding on the skill and experience of the worker as well as on the quality and suitability of the tool (tweezers) and is therefore not suitable for amateur use in the so-called hobby sector. In addition, after the element has been placed in position, the element must then be pressed to allow sufficient contact of the adhesive with the decorated surface throughout the contact surface of the decorative element on which the pressure-sensitive adhesive is placed, thereby forming a sufficiently strong bond between the element and the decorated surface. This carries the risk of shifting the element from the correct position and thereby deteriorating the appearance of the pattern being created.

The transfer of individual decorative elements by means of an adhesive support pad virtually does not allow the individual elements to be positioned precisely in predetermined positions, which makes it difficult to create a more complex decorative pattern, especially when the individual elements are to be placed close together on the decorated surface.

Thus, there is a need for a device that would allow the decorative elements to be applied effectively to the prepared substrate.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The solution of the present invention largely eliminates the disadvantages of the prior art. It is an object of the present invention to provide a new method of applying decorative elements (jewelery components), most preferably of glass, metal or polymeric materials (plastics) to a decorated surface.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The invention relates to a device for applying ornaments to a decorated surface, comprising a head of a device within which a space for receiving a ornamental container is located, a body of the device having a stepping mechanism and a backstop and prints on the decorative elements stored in the tray.

The stepping mechanism serves for a continuous movement of the pressure piston and thus for the gradual release of the decorative elements from the magazine, which is housed in the space located in the head of the device.

The backstop serves to prevent the pusher piston from moving back.

All individual elements of the device can be made of any material. The preferred material is a combination of aluminum and plastic.

The head of the device and the body of the device can be formed either in one piece or in two separable parts.

In one preferred embodiment, the head of the device and the body of the device are formed of two pieces connected to each other by a threaded connection.

In one preferred embodiment, the head of the device and the body of the device are formed of two pieces joined together by a bayonet stop.

Placing the decorative element at the desired location on the decorated surface is achieved by placing the head of the device with the visible decorative element perpendicular to the desired location of the decorated surface and pressing the stepping mechanism actuating the pressure piston releases the element from the magazine. to create a connection between the decorative element and the decorated surface. The joint between the decorative element and the decorated surface is in the final form formed in a single step, combining the precise positioning of the element at the desired location and its pressing against the decorated surface. An accurate positioning of the element at the desired location is due to the design of the device that the decorative element is visible during application of the element at the desired location and its release from the container in the applicator.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Example 1

The device 1 for applying decorative elements to the decorated surface is formed by the head 2 of the device 1 and the body 3 of the device 1, which form two mutually separable parts connected by a threaded connection. Inside the head 2 there is a space 4, in which a container 5 of decorative elements is received. A push piston 8 passes through the body 3 of the device 1, which pushes the decorative elements stored in the container 5. The push piston 8 is controlled by the stepping mechanism 6 and the backstop 7, which are located on the body 3 of the device 1.

Example 2

A cartridge 5 containing 50 chaton roses provided with a final layer of pressure-sensitive adhesive is inserted into the head space 4 in the head 2 of the device f, which are successively applied to the decorated surface in a preselected pattern.

Example 3

A decorative motif composed of several kinds of decorative elements (chaton roses of different sizes and colors, squares, etc.) is created by gradually inserting trays containing the desired decorative elements into the device and applying the decorative elements to the final position in the motif.

Example 4

A cartridge 5 containing 50 chaton roses is inserted into the head space 4 of the device 1, which are successively applied to a decorative surface provided with an adhesive layer in a preselected pattern.

Industrial applicability

The device according to the present invention is applied in the application of decorative elements to garments or other objects, whereby the application of the elements by means of an applicator is easier, faster and in mass production higher performance can be achieved with less staff. For amateur use in the hobby sector, the application of the applicator is less user-intensive.

PATENT CLAIMS Apparatus (1) for applying decorative elements to a decorated surface, characterized in that it comprises a head (2) of the device (1) within which there is a space (4) for receiving a decorative element magazine (5); from the body (3) of the device (1), which is provided with a walking mechanism (6) and a back stop (7); and from a pushing piston (8) passing through the body (3) of the device (1) and pushing on the ornamental elements housed in the cartridge (5). Device (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the head (2) of the device (1) and the body (3) of the device (1) are connected to each other by a threaded connection. Device (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the head (2) of the device (1) and the body (3) of the device (1) are connected to each other by a bayonet stop.
