BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a flying saw for cutting metal rods and pipes while in operation. The invention provides an arrangement of a saw mechanism for moving in the direction of movement of the cut material and for moving in a direction perpendicular to the material.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
In the prior art rod and tube flying saws, the saw car is generally flat, in horizontal configuration, displaced by two parallel sliding or rolling elements. The car is moved by hydraulic or electric drive. The saw blade feed to the cut is placed on the horizontal car of the saw and is done either in a linear guide or by swinging the saw around the axis. A disadvantage of these existing embodiments is that the chips, i.e. sawdust generated during cutting and the coolant must fall between the sliding and / or sliding surfaces. rolling elements for driving the car, accumulate saws on the car and in the saw bed between the guide elements. The main drawback is that they get into these functional areas for moving the car and reduce their service life.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The above-mentioned disadvantages are overcome by the flying saw according to the invention for cutting metal profiles or pipes while running, comprising the saw car and the swing arm with the saw blade according to the invention, car saw. A swinging arm with a saw motor and a saw blade is rotatably attached to its lower part, provided with rolling pulleys rolling on a bar fixed to the frame. This is moved by the hydraulic cylinder to the cut of the material clamped in the clamping units. The clamping units are attached to the top of the saw car. Further, the hydraulic cylinder has a stroke limited by an adjustable front stop and a rear stop. The stops are mounted on an adjusting screw which is fixed at one end in a threaded bore of the pivot pivotally attached to the saw car and the other end in a bore of the pivot pivotally attached to the swing arm. To replace the saw blade, the park stop is moved by the adjusting screw away from the material to be cut and the saw blade is moved out of the space between the clamping units.
An advantage of the device according to the invention is that the functional surfaces and the mechanism for running the saw car are well protected from flying chips and coolant. As short as possible, the necessary stroke of the saw blade in the range of the cut profile makes it possible to reduce the working time for the stroke to a minimum, thus minimizing the cutting cycle, which has a direct effect on the length of travel of the saw.

An example of an embodiment of the invention
The flying saw is formed from a saw frame X having the shape of a bracket, on whose side a feed unit is mounted in the inverted position. This consists of a rolling rail 5, along which rolling guide carriages 6 are advanced, which are accelerated to the speed of the material to be cut 16 by means of a toothed belt 7 preloaded by a tensioned toothed pulley 8. The toothed belt 2 is driven The car 2 of the saw 2 is suspended on the rolling rail 5 via rolling carriages 6 and in the lower part it is rolled by rolling rollers 12 on a bar 13 fixed to the frame X of the saw is driven by the drive actuator 11. The flying saw according to the invention operates as follows: The car of the saw 3 is stopped in the waiting position, i.e. at the beginning of the travel path and the saw blade 14 is rotated continuously. At the command of the control system, the drive actuator 11 accelerates the saw car 2 to a speed equal to the speed of the material to be cut 16. In addition to this speed synchronization, the saw car 2 must also be position synchronized, i.e. the saw blade must be exactly at the theoretical point cut according to the preset length. Upon reaching the speed and position synchronization, the clamping units 17, 17 ' clamp the material to be cut and the hydraulic cylinder 18 immediately pivots the swing arm 3 and pushes the saw blade 14 into the cut. After cutting the material 16, the hydraulic cylinder 19 reverses and returns at maximum speed back to the initial position, i.e. to the rear stop 21. Upon reaching this position 3e, it immediately releases the clamping units 17, 17 ', the drive actuator 11 brakes the saw car reversing and immediately returns the saw car 2 to the initial waiting position at the beginning of the travel path. This completes one cutting cycle, which is repeated continuously until the preselection of the number of cuts is exhausted or the material feed is complete.
The advantage of the described embodiment of the flying saw according to the invention is its simplicity and saving of production costs, since the actuator including the rail rolling guide ε with the toothed crown drive as a standardized feed unit, ie. linear module, can be purchased as a mass-produced element. The use of roller guides reduces the size of the drive.
