Korpus elektrického akustického strunného hudebního nástroje, zejména kvtarv nebo basové kytary

Oblast techniky

Body of electric acoustic string musical instrument, especially quartar or bass guitar

Technical field

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a corpus of an electric acoustic string instrument, in particular a guitar or bass guitar, comprising two types of resonance units, the first resonance unit being a solid wood body, and the second resonance unit comprising at least one tone chamber. The invention solves the easy-to-manufacture corpus structure, allowing great variability of the sensed sound, both using acoustic and electromagnetic sensors.

Background Art

Acoustic guitars and other acoustic string musical instruments are known, the bodies of which are formed by a bottom and a lid, which are interconnected by bent wood bows. A neck with a fingerboard is glued to the body. The bottom of the body is provided with exhausts, while the cover is provided with ribs and at least one acoustic opening. Both the zebra and the reinforcements are cut out at the edges *. The lids are usually arched or planar, with acoustic apertures having a circular shape or f-shape. For electrical processing, the emitted sound is picked up by a microphone or additionally provided with magnetic sensors for sensing the vibration of the strings or by piezoelectric sensors for sensing the vibration of the lid or other parts of the body. If the sound to be emitted is to be electronically processed, the disadvantage of this arrangement is the strong intrinsic acoustic sound emitted by the body itself, which may be disturbing, and the character of the perceived sound depends on the listener's distance from the instrument. The characteristic of this tool is that the string shake is greatly influenced by the resonance of the corpus, so that no purely electronic sound can be obtained. Furthermore, electric guitars are known whose corpus is massive, ie formed by solid material, most often wood. The neck is attached to the corpus and further provided with a pull rod for higher rigidity. These instruments practically do not provide any sound, interference is minimized, and the instrument always provides an electrically processed tone at any given moment. The characteristic feature of these guitars is that an acoustic component cannot be mixed with the electrically sensed signal.

Also known are electric acoustic guitars, also referred to as semi-acoustic guitars, which are equipped with piezoelectric and / or magnetic sensors, their hollow corpus being structurally analogous to acoustic guitar, not adapted to produce loud sound by the body itself. The body of an electric acoustic guitar is often reinforced with a massive block of wood, which not only increases the rigidity of the instrument, but also dampens the body's own sound. Electric acoustic guitars are equipped with both a piezoelectric sensor embedded in the bridge and several magnetic sensors, usually individually adjustable for each string. The piezoelectric sensor senses both string shake and lid shake. A characteristic feature of these tools is that the electrically sensed signal is affected by the resonance properties of the corpus as a whole. These guitars practically do not provide pure electronic sound.

Also known are semi-tubular electro-acoustic guitars formed by a massive plate provided with recesses, wherein the entire upper surface of the massive plate, including the recess, is covered by a continuous top plate, optionally still provided with an acoustic opening. By overlapping the recesses formed in the massive plate, a tone chamber is created in the corpus, fundamentally influencing the characteristics of the guitar. A characteristic of these guitars is that the degree of compromise between purely acoustic and purely electric sound depends on the number, shape and total volume of the acoustic chambers relative to the mass of the massive board. The disadvantage of these guitars is the lack of variability in the choice of color tones due to the fact that all tone chambers are defined by a common top plate.

The principles of using the above-mentioned types of corpora in the construction of other electric stringed musical instruments, such as mandolin, violin, viola, forehead or bass have the same, above-mentioned specifics.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

These disadvantages are solved by the body of an electric acoustic string musical instrument, in particular a guitar or a bass guitar, which comprises a massive resonance unit and at least one hollow resonance unit, the massive resonance unit being formed by a base plate and the hollow resonance unit being formed by at least one tone chamber. It is an object of the present inventor that at least one tone chamber is defined by an inner surface of at least one sounding plate or an inner surface of at least one tooth and an inner surface of at least one soundboard.

And the sound chamber is further defined by internal walls of at least one aperture and / or at least one cut-out and / or at least one recess formed in the base plate. At the same time, at the point of mutual contact of the at least one sounding plate and the base plate, the peripheral edge of the inner surface of the at least one sounding plate is located closer to the opposite wall of the body than the peripheral edge of the opening and / or the circumferential edge of the cutout and / or the peripheral edge of the recess. Alternatively, it is essential that within the at least one tone chamber there is a block which is preferably part of the base plate. According to a further alternative, the recess is provided in the base plate opposite to the peripheral edge of the inner surface of the at least one sound board. According to another alternative, the essence is that a profile is provided opposite the peripheral edge of the inner surface of the at least one sounding plate within the tone chamber, which is preferably provided in a groove formed in the base plate. Alternatively, it is further provided that, opposite the peripheral edge of the opening and / or the peripheral edge of the recess and / or the peripheral edge of the recess, the recess is formed in the baffle plate. An advantage of an electro-acoustic guitar comprising a body according to the invention is that soundboards of different thicknesses made of different materials can be used to form each tone chamber, which provides a wide range of sound properties in production. This variability can be advantageously used for selectively sensing the contribution of individual tone chambers to the resulting tone, which presupposes the placement of several sensors at different points in the body. The advantage of placing the block in the tone chamber is to increase stiffness and minimize interference, YjhodoU. y making the block as part of the motherboard is manufacturing simplicity. The advantage of placing the sound board in the recess is easier to manufacture, and the insertion of the profile into the groove further contributes to increased manufacturing accuracy.
