技术领域
本实用新型属于半固态金属加工技术领域,特别涉及到一种通过施加复合电磁搅拌连续制备半固态金属浆料的装置。
背景技术
经过30年的发展,特别是近10年来的迅猛发展,半固态加工成形技术的高效率、高成品率、近终形等特点已经得以展现,其广阔的应用前景已经为人们所认同。成形工艺涉及到触变成形和流变成形,合金范围也由低熔点的有色金属材料延伸到高熔点的钢铁材料。但是如何稳定、高效、经济地制备凝固组织细化、球化、均质化的半固态浆料仍是开展半固态加工成形技术关键。为此,世界各国都相继投入大量的人力、物力积极研制开发半固态浆料制备方法及设备用于生产。目前,半固态浆料制备方法提出不少,但是真正应用于生产实际的只有机械搅拌和电磁搅拌法。而机械搅拌存在搅拌效率低、搅拌器使用寿命短、金属液易污染等缺点,应用范围有限。
由于电磁场具有非接触、能量密度高、清洁和可精确设计与控制等特点,在金属材料的制备过程中发挥了巨大的作用,这也是电磁搅拌法在实际半固态金属成形应用中占主导地位的真正原因。由于电磁场施加方式对半固态凝固组织的影响很大,导致铸坯凝固过程中组织差异较大,使得采用电磁搅拌法制备半固态浆料或坯料的工业化应用进展缓慢,施加电磁场的优点并没有完全体现出来。美国专利第4229210、4434837公开了几种制备金属半固态浆料或连铸坯料的电磁搅拌方法,其原理是利用强烈的电磁感应力抑制初生枝晶的析出,制备球状或粒状初晶半固态金属浆料以及半固态的连铸坯料。但该制备方法必须要求强烈的电磁搅拌才能获得细小和球状晶的半固态金属浆料。如果搅拌强度较低,则初晶形态变差,多为蔷薇状,而且连铸坯料表面的枝晶层较厚,这种坯料的触变性不好,不适合半固态成形。要进行强烈的电磁搅拌,电磁搅拌设备不仅庞大,投资过高,而且电磁搅拌功率消耗大,效率低,因此,获得球状或粒状初晶半固态金属连铸坯料的成本较高。此外,该方法中制浆室容积较大也是导致电磁搅拌施加功率大、电磁设备庞大、能耗增加、枝晶向非枝晶转变的过程缓慢、制备半固态浆料时间长、效率低的重要原因。而且大容积的制浆室存在搅拌磁场分布不均匀问题,使得制浆室内边部与心部金属液搅拌不均匀,最终导致凝固组织的不均匀。
发明内容
本实用新型的目的是提供一种连续制备高度细化、球化、均匀化的半固态金属浆料装置,制备的浆料质量高,产量大,效率高。
为实现上述目的,本实用新型采取以下设计方案:一种复合电磁搅拌法连续制备半固态金属浆料的装置,包括有上下连通的中间包和导流管,导流管位于中间包的下方,且中间包和导流管同轴安装,围绕在中间包的壁外安装加温器和冷却器,围绕在加温器和冷却器外安装绝热管,并且中间包、与加温器和冷却器、以及绝热管由表及里同轴安装,还在绝热管的外周设置上电磁搅拌器,围绕在导流管的壁外安装加温器和冷却器,围绕在加温器和冷却器外安装绝热管,并且导流管、与加温器和冷却器、以及绝热管由表及里同轴安装,还在绝热管的外周设置下电磁搅拌器,在中间包中,由其上顶部到其下底部贯穿一根塞杆,塞杆的下端设有活塞,该活塞与导流管的进口配合塞接。

在本实用新型的复合电磁搅拌法连续制备半固态金属浆料的装置中,所述的下电磁搅拌器与工频电源连接,搅拌功率为0.1-0.5kW。工作时,搅拌速度在500-3000rmp。下电磁搅拌器在导流管内产生一个使金属液体水平旋转的磁场,使金属液体在自上而下运动过程中迅速大量形核,细小晶粒,而且浆料具有很好的流动性。所形成的半固态金属浆料凝固组织细小、均匀、球化度高。
在本实用新型的复合电磁搅拌法连续制备半固态金属浆料的装置中,所述的中间包和导流管的材料均为奥氏体不锈钢或其它无磁金属或非金属材料。
本实用新型的优点是:本实用新型提供的半固态金属浆料的制备装置,在中间包内施加电磁搅拌,使中间包内的过热金属液体整体均匀降温到液相线温度,可以解决现有技术中由于单纯静置保温控制浇注金属液体接近液相线温度难操作性以及由此带来的金属液体过热度太低时流动性变差的技术难题;在导流管外施加强烈电磁搅拌,金属液流能够获得充分地快速冷却,使得形核数量大幅度增加,凝固组织明显细化;从而避免了由于现有技术中制浆室尺寸较大、金属液体搅拌不均匀导致冷却不均匀及凝固组织不均匀的问题;由于导流管尺寸很小,因此电磁搅拌设备体积小,无需变频装置,投资成本少,所需搅拌功率小、耗能低。而且由于中间包内始终保持恒定高度的金属液体,浇注过程中,具有一定流速的液流连续不断地冲刷导流管内壁,使得即使对导流管施加较大冷却强度也不会发生导流管壁金属液体提前凝壳或者堵塞现象;而且金属液流在电磁搅拌力和金属静压力共同作用下获得强有力剪切作用,能够大幅度增加浆料的触变性能;既解决了液相线浇注法中金属液温度难以控制和金属液流动差的问题,又解决了纯粹依靠强烈电磁搅拌导致设备庞大和搅拌功率大、搅拌效率低、能耗大的问题。
本实用新型所提出的复合电磁法制备半固态金属浆料装置,所制备的半固态浆料可以连续输送到压铸机、锻造机、轧制机,特别适用于连铸连轧成形工艺。电磁搅拌器结构简单、搅拌强度高、能耗低;能够连续制备球状或粒状初晶的高质量半固态浆料。该方法既适合于铝基合金的球状或粒状初晶的半固态金属浆料的制备,也适合于铜基合金、镁基合金、锌基合金等有色金属的半固态金属浆料的制备。

图2为施加只在中间包外施加电磁搅拌的A356合金半固态浆料的微观组织,浅色区域为初晶α-Al,深色区域为凝固的共晶液体。

具体的实施方式如图1所示,本实用新型主要包括中间包4、导流管5和复合电磁搅拌器-上电磁搅拌器6和一个下电磁搅拌器7等部件。中间包4的出口与导流管5进口对接而成,两者通过螺纹连接,安装或拆卸都很方便。中间包4为上敞口、下有出口的耐火容器,围绕在其外部有加温器8和冷却器9以及绝热管10,且由表及里同轴安装。导流管5为一个耐火中空管,围绕在其外部有加温器11和冷却器12以及绝热管13,且由表及里同轴安装。复合电磁搅拌器是由一个上电磁搅拌器6和一个下电磁搅拌器7构成,两个搅拌器分别与中间包4和导流管5同轴安装,分别位于中间包4和导流管5的外部。上电磁搅拌器6通过冷却水套14与绝热管10隔开,以防来自浆料的热辐射损伤搅拌器。上盖板2由金属壳和内嵌耐火材料3构成,其上设有金属液体的进口-漏斗式浇口15,该漏斗式浇口15可以方便安装。中间包4和导流管5分层上下安装,导流管5位于中间包4下方,两者的直径比为5~6∶1,最后通过上盖板2和壳体1封装在一起。半固态浆料流量控制是通过塞杆16结构来完成。塞杆16上穿通上盖板2,与上盖板2滑动连接。下接导流管5的进口,塞杆16的下端设有活塞,该活塞与导流管5的进口配合塞接。塞杆16通过塞杆16的手把可控制该活塞与中间包4的金属液体的出口(即导流管5的进口)的相对位置,以控制金属液体的从中间包4的出口的开、关及流量。导流管5的下口留有接头,可以直接与压铸机、轧机或其它成形机相连。整个系统调节控制,例如,复合电磁搅拌器的电流调控,中间包和导流系统温度控制,是通过一套电气控制柜(图1中未表示)来完成,电气控制采用可编程控制器控制,实现所有运行参数的集中设定,调节控制和瞬间打印。
对于A356合金,液相线温度是613℃,固相线温度为557℃,浇注温度为670℃,中间包4温度控制在620℃左右,上下误差不超过2℃。A356合金液从漏斗式浇口15进入中间包4内,通过塞杆16控制中间包4的金属液体的出口(即导流管5的进口)的开、关及流量,以保证A356合金液在中间包4内始终保持恒定高度。上电磁搅拌器6的施加功率为2.0kW,施加频率为30Hz,搅拌速率为150rpm。下电磁搅拌器7的施加功率为0.3kW,施加频率为50Hz,搅拌速率为2000rmp。施加复合电磁搅拌的A356合金半固态浆料从导流管5的出口输出,可以连续输送到压铸机、锻造机、轧制机,特别适用于连铸连轧成形工艺。图2为只在中间包内单独施加电磁搅拌的A356合金半固态浆料的微观组织,其初晶形态差,多为蔷薇状,晶粒尺寸在80-120μm。图3为施加复合电磁搅拌的A356合金半固态浆料的微观组织。可见,采用复合电磁搅拌法,初晶组织不但细小均匀,而且晶粒圆整度高,晶粒尺寸在40-60μm。
Claims (10)
1.一种复合电磁搅拌法连续制备半固态金属浆料的装置,其特征在于,包括有上下连通的中间包4和导流管5,导流管5位于中间包4的下方,且中间包4和导流管5同轴安装,围绕在中间包4的壁外安装加温器8和冷却器9,围绕在加温器8和冷却器9外安装绝热管10,并且中间包4、与加温器8和冷却器9、以及绝热管10由表及里同轴安装,还在绝热管10的外周设置上电磁搅拌器6,围绕在导流管5的壁外安装加温器11和冷却器12,围绕在加温器11和冷却器12外安装绝热管13,并且导流管5、与加温器11和冷却器12、以及绝热管13由表及里同轴安装,还在绝热管13的外周设置下电磁搅拌器7,在中间包4中,由其上顶部到其下底部贯穿一根塞杆16,塞杆16的下端设有活塞,该活塞与导流管5的进口配合塞接。
2.根据权利要求1所述的复合电磁搅拌法连续制备半固态金属浆料的装置,其特征在于,在所述的中间包4壁外的加温器8为电阻加热元件,冷却器9为内部通冷却介质的冷却管道,加温器8与冷却器9相间在中间包4的壁外环绕排列。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的复合电磁搅拌法连续制备半固态金属浆料的装置,其特征在于,在所述的导流管壁外的加温器11为电阻加热元件,冷却器12为内部通冷却介质的冷却管道,加温器11与冷却器12相间在导流管5的壁外环绕排列。
4.根据权利要求3所述的复合电磁搅拌法连续制备半固态金属浆料的装置,其特征在于,所述的中间包4和导流管5的直径比为5~6∶1。
5.根据权利要求4所述的复合电磁搅拌法连续制备半固态金属浆料的装置,其特征在于,所述的中间包4与导流管5通过螺纹连接。
6.根据权利要求5所述的复合电磁搅拌法连续制备半固态金属浆料的装置,其特征在于,所述的中间包4为上敞口的容器,其上设有上盖板2,上盖板2内设置耐火材料3,并上盖板2上设有漏斗式浇口15,所述的塞杆16上部穿通上盖板2,与上盖板2滑动连接。
7.根据权利要求6所述的复合电磁搅拌法连续制备半固态金属浆料的装置,其特征在于,所述的中间包4外的绝热管10的外部同轴安装冷却水套14。
8.根据权利要求7所述的复合电磁搅拌法连续制备半固态金属浆料的装置,其特征在于,所述的上电磁搅拌器6与一个低频电源相连,搅拌功率为1-10kW,频率为1-300Hz。
9.根据权利要求8所述的复合电磁搅拌法连续制备半固态金属浆料的装置,其特征在于,所述的下电磁搅拌器7与工频电源连接,搅拌功率为0.1-0.5kW。
10.根据权利要求9所述的复合电磁搅拌法连续制备半固态金属浆料的装置,其特征在于,所述的中间包4和导流管5的材料均为奥氏体不锈钢或其它无磁金属或非金属材料。
