Abstract
本实用新型提供一种线缆连接器(1),其包括绝缘本体(10)及若干收容于绝缘本体的电路板模组(20)。其中,绝缘本体具有若干沿第一方向延伸的通道(14),每一电路板模组具有收容于相应通道的电路板(22)、若干与电路板机械电性连接的线缆(23)及固持线缆的线缆夹(25)。另外,线缆夹在垂直于绝缘本体第一方向的第二方向上至少设有一穿孔(266),第一锁固元件(40)沿第二方向插入线缆夹的穿孔,将电路板模组固定于一起。
Description
【技术领域】
本实用新型是有关一种线缆连接器,尤指一种具有若干用于传输高速信号的电路板的线缆连接器。
【背景技术】
随着通讯及计算机技术的发展,电子设备之间需要用高密度电连接器连接,以于电子设备之间建立大量数据传输通道。每个电连接器需设有若干电路板,以改善不同电特性的信号在电连接器中的传输。如线缆连接器、高密度电连接器已被广泛应用于服务器、路由器以及需要数据高速处理与传输设备的内部连接系统。
美国专利第6,217,364号揭示了一种线缆连接器,该线缆连接器包括本体及线缆。其中,本体由两个大致相同的绝缘部组成,线缆具有若干芯线,所述芯线与包覆成型于扁平片状部的导电端子连接。绝缘部形成设有前端口及后端口的内部收容孔。片状部彼此紧密平行排列,并设置于一个绝缘部的内部收容孔中,因而,线缆可从收容孔的后端口突伸出,另一绝缘部可封闭包覆线缆与片状部的组合。两个绝缘部通过螺丝与螺母固持于一起,从而将线缆与片状部的组合固定于本体中。但是,上述方法不但使线缆连接器的装配过程变得复杂,而且,两个绝缘部的配合亦会由于运输及其它因素所引起的振动发生松动,因此线缆与片状部的组合不能稳固固持于本体中。从而影响线缆连接器与对接连接器的电性连接。
美国专利第5,924,899号(下称′899号专利)及第6,102,747号各揭示一种线缆连接器的结构。请参阅′899号专利的第4a-4c图及第5a-5c图,线缆连接器包括本体及若干模组。其中,本体上设有若干平行插槽,所述模组收容于插槽中。每个模组具有电路基板、收容部及绝缘刺破部。其中,收容部具有若干叉状端子并设置于基板之一端,绝缘刺破部设置于基板的另一端,该绝缘刺破部具有绝缘刺破端子,且该绝缘刺破端子与线缆的导体相连接。每个模组均通过与本体的干涉配合固持于本体。当将线缆连接器与对接连接器分离时,需对线缆的裸露端施加拉力,该拉力会使模组相对于本体向后位移,因此,当线缆连接器与对接连接器再次配合时,上述位移即会影响线缆连接器与对接连接器的电性配合。而且,该种线缆连接器需用额外工具将线缆束起,从而使生产成本增加。
因此,需要一种改良的线缆连接器,以克服现有技术的不足。
【发明内容】
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种线缆连接器,该线缆连接器具有应力缓冲装置,以缓冲施加于线缆的拉力。
本实用新型的另一目的在于提供一种线缆连接器,该线缆连接器具有若干稳固固持于绝缘本体中的电路板。
本实用新型的又一目的在于提供一种线缆连接器,该线缆连接器具有接地片,以减少相邻线缆之间的串音干扰。
为达成前述目的,本实用新型线缆连接器包括绝缘本体、若干电路板模组、后盖、第二锁固元件以及第三锁固元件。其中绝缘本体设有若干沿第一方向延伸的通道及沿第二方向延伸的开孔,且该第一方向垂直于第二方向,电路板模组具有收容在绝缘本体相应通道的电路板及若干与电路板机械电性连接的线缆,每一电路板设有与绝缘本体的开孔并排设置的通孔,后盖具有与绝缘本体配合的第一盖体及第二盖体,并且该第一盖体及第二盖体设有互插装置,后盖沿第二方向设有贯穿第一盖体及第二盖体的锁固孔,第二锁固元件通过绝缘本体的开孔插入电路板的通孔,第三锁固元件插入后盖的锁固孔。
与先前技术相比,本实用新型线缆连接器的后盖采用分离式设计,简化后盖与绝缘本体的安装。另外,通过第二锁固元件及第三锁固元件将电路板模组稳固固持于绝缘本体及后盖内,因此,可确保线缆连接器与对接连接器之可靠电性连接。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1及图2所示,本实用新型线缆连接器1包括绝缘本体10、若干收容于绝缘本体10的电路板模组20及两片式后盖30。其中,所述绝缘本体10及后盖30用于固持电路板模组20。
请参阅图3及图4所示,绝缘本体10呈矩形,其具有前对接面100、位于前对接面100的前对接口11、后面102及位于后面102的收容室12,且前对接面100面向对接连接器(未图示)。绝缘本体10设有若干从前到后平行延伸的通道14及若干凹槽16,通道14亦即是沿绝缘本体10的第一方向延伸。其中,该通道14使前对接口11与收容室12连通,各凹槽16与对应通道14排成一行。绝缘本体10还包括若干槽道17、若干肩部170及若干开孔18,其中,槽道17分别设置于绝缘本体上表面104及下表面(未图示),肩部170由相应槽道17向下凹陷形成,开孔18沿垂直于通道14延伸的方向设置于绝缘本体10的两相对侧面106。
请参阅第五图至第八图所示,电路板模组20包括电路板22及若干与电路板22电性连接的线缆23。电路板22具有绝缘基板、若干信号传输线路(未图示)、若干接地线路(未图示)、设置于电路板22后端的凹口220及与绝缘本体10的开孔18并排设置的通孔222。其中,绝缘基板由普通电路基板材料如FR4等制成,信号传输线路设置于基板的一侧面,以为线缆连接器1提供信号传输路径,接地线路设置于基板的两侧面。每个电路板模组20的线缆23设置于同一平面,且具有与电路板22的信号传输线路焊接的导引端子230。
电路板模组20进一步包括接地片24及用以夹持线缆23的线缆夹25。接地片24设有前部240、若干环状箍242及若干接地指状端244。其中,前部240收容于电路板22的凹口220,若干环状箍242用以固定线缆23,若干接地指状端244从前部240向前延伸。接地指状端244焊接至电路板22两相对侧面的接地线路上,以减少线缆23之串音。
线缆夹25由一对相同金属片26构成。每个金属片26包括凸缘260、若干弹性片262、若干开口264及若干穿孔266。其中,凸缘260设于一侧边,穿孔266位于两邻近线缆23的狭缝27间。当一金属片26的弹性片262与另一金属片26的对应通孔264结合时,线缆夹25将线缆23固持于一起。另外,凸缘260及弹性片262进一步将线缆23安全收容于线缆夹25内。
请参阅图3及图4所示,后盖30包括分离的主体,该分离的主体具有第一盖体31及第二盖体32。第一盖体31及第二盖体32均具有上面板330、下面板332及位于上面板330与下面板332之间的侧面板334,且第一盖体31与第二盖体32分别设有一对从上面板330、下面板332的前缘延伸的扣持部336、若干销接柱337、与销接柱337相对应的收容孔338及贯穿侧面板334的锁固孔300。所述销接柱337及收容孔338用于连接第一盖体31与第二盖体32的互插装置,另外,于扣持部336的自由端部设有突起3360。后盖30的分离式设计有助于将后盖30设置并组装在绝缘本体10上。
在组装过程中,电路板模组20从绝缘本体10的后面102沿第一方向插入通道14,当电路板22的前端邻接绝缘本体10的前对接面100时,电路板22被收容于通道14,且电路板22的上端部与下端部固持于凹槽16内。第一锁固元件40插入线缆夹25的穿孔266,亦即沿垂直于第一方向的第二方向插入穿孔266,将电路板模组20锁固在一起,以达到应力释放的功能。第二锁固元件50通过绝缘本体10的开孔18插入电路板22的通孔222,并锁固于绝缘本体10上,当线缆连接器1与对接连接器对接时,第二锁固元件50可使电路板模组20保持在原始位置,而不会相对于绝缘本体10发生向后位移。因此,该第二锁固元件50可更稳固地将电路板模组20固定于绝缘本体10。
当第一盖体31及第二盖体32的扣持部336的突起3360与槽道17的肩部170机械配合时,后盖30即被组装于绝缘本体10。同时,销接柱337与对应收容孔338干涉配合,将第一盖体31与第二盖体32连接起来。后盖30围绕电路板模组20的线缆夹25设置,第三锁固元件60插入后盖30的锁固孔300,将线缆夹25稳固固持于后盖30。
由于通过第二锁固元件50及第三锁固元件60可将电路板模组20稳固固持于绝缘本体10及后盖30,因此,可确保线缆连接器1与对接连接器之可靠电性连接。另外,线缆23通过线缆夹25及接地片24的环状箍242夹持,且线缆夹25可通过第一锁固元件40固持在一起,因此施加于线缆23的拉力会得到适当的缓冲。
Claims (8)
1.一种线缆连接器,其包括绝缘本体、若干电路板模组、后盖、第二锁固元件以及第三锁固元件,其中绝缘本体设有若干沿第一方向延伸的通道及沿第二方向延伸的开孔,且该第一方向垂直于第二方向,电路板模组具有收容在绝缘本体相应通道的电路板及若干与电路板机械电性连接的线缆,每一电路板设有与绝缘本体的开孔并排设置的通孔,其特征在于:后盖具有与绝缘本体配合的第一盖体及第二盖体,并且该第一盖体及第二盖体设有互插装置,后盖沿第二方向设有贯穿第一盖体及第二盖体的锁固孔,第二锁固元件通过绝缘本体的开孔插入电路板的通孔,第三锁固元件插入后盖的锁固孔。
2.如权利要求1所述的线缆连接器,其特征在于:电路板模组进一步设有固持线缆的线缆夹,该线缆夹设有沿第二方向延伸的穿孔。
3.如权利要求2所述的线缆连接器,其特征在于:线缆连接器进一步包括第一锁固元件,该第一锁固元件沿第二方向插入线缆夹的穿孔。
4.如权利要求3所述的线缆连接器,其特征在于:电路板模组进一步包括具有若干收容线缆的环状箍的接地片。
5.如权利要求4所述的线缆连接器,其特征在于:接地片设有若干电性连接电路板的接地指状端。
6.一种线缆连接器,其包括绝缘本体、若干电路板以及若干线缆,其中绝缘本体设有若干沿第一方向延伸的通道,若干电路板分别垂直组设于相应通道内,若干线缆从电路板的后端并排向后延伸,且所述线缆成矩阵排列,其特征在于:从电路板后端延伸的线缆紧扣组设于上述电路板的后端的接地片上。
7.如权利要求6所述的线缆连接器,其特征在于:线缆包括与电路板直接连接的信号导引端子。
8.一种线缆连接器,其包括绝缘本体、若干电路板以及后盖,其中绝缘本体设有若干沿第一方向延伸的通道,若干电路板分别垂直组设于相应通道内,其特征在于:后盖包括两个盖体,该两盖体以侧部相互结合,并以从前至后的方向连接绝缘本体,每个盖体包括防止电路板在从前至后的方向上移动的各种装置。
