公告号为CN2206859Y的实用新型专利《一种用于皮带传动中的张紧轮》，提供了一种具有密封结构的张紧轮，以期提高张紧轮特别是与其配套轴承的使用寿命，它采取的一个重要措施是轮体采用塑料一次注射成型。但它同时又带来一个问题，即轮体的耐磨性差。
本实用新型的目的是提供一种耐磨性好的张紧轮，以进一步提高使用寿命。
为实现此目的，本实用新型采取在塑料材料轮体的轮颈外面加一金属套管，使金属套管承受摩擦以减少对轮体的直接磨损。
由于在轮颈外面加有一金属套管，使金属套管直接承受摩擦，减少对轮体的磨损，因而能够提高张紧轮的使用寿命。
附图所示为本实用新型的结构示意图，其中轮体1采用塑料制成，轮颈2外面为金属套管3。
