Optionally, the circuit board includes a hard circuit board and a flexible circuit board, the protection device and the connector are respectively electrically connected with the hard circuit board, and the flexible circuit board is respectively electrically connected with the hard circuit board and the electric core.
Optionally, the connector is located on a first surface of the hard circuit board, the protection device is located on a second surface of the hard circuit board, and/or the protection device is embedded in the hard circuit board, and the first surface is opposite to the second surface.
Optionally, the hard circuit board is stacked with the main board, and the first surface of the hard circuit board is opposite to the main board.
Optionally, the protection device includes a chip and a resistive-capacitive device, the chip is embedded in the hard circuit board, and the resistive-capacitive device is located on the second surface of the hard circuit board.
Optionally, the second surface of the hard circuit board is provided with a colloid, and the colloid is used for packaging the resistance-capacitance device.
Optionally, the battery cell has a tab, the tab is located at a side of the battery cell near the main board, a part of the flexible circuit board is located in the housing, and the flexible circuit board is electrically connected with the tab.
Optionally, the protection circuit module further comprises a reinforcing plate, and one surface of the reinforcing plate is connected with a part of the flexible circuit board, which is located in the shell.
Optionally, a portion of the flexible circuit board located in the housing is located between the reinforcing plate and the electric core, and a thickness direction of the portion of the flexible circuit board located in the housing and the reinforcing plate is perpendicular to a side face of the electric core, which is close to the main board.
Optionally, a portion of the flexible circuit board located within the housing is provided with a current detection resistor.

In the battery module provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, the protection device and the connector of the protection circuit module are arranged outside the shell of the battery body, and the protection device and the connector do not occupy the space inside the shell any more. Under the prerequisite of not increasing battery body volume, the inside cell that can provide bigger space arrangement of casing, the electric quantity that the battery body can be improved to the electric core of bigger volume, is favorable to increasing electronic equipment's duration.

The following description of the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present disclosure will be made clearly and completely with reference to the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present disclosure, and it is apparent that the described embodiments are some embodiments of the present disclosure, but not all embodiments. Based on the embodiments in this disclosure, all other embodiments that a person of ordinary skill in the art would obtain without making any inventive effort are within the scope of protection of this disclosure.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a part of an electronic device provided in the related art, as shown in fig. 1, the electronic device includes a device motherboard 001, a protection circuit board 002 and a battery assembly 003, wherein a main portion of the protection circuit board 002 is located inside a battery compartment 004 of the battery assembly 003, and the rest portion of the protection circuit board 002 is located outside the battery compartment 004, for electrically connecting the protection circuit board 002 with the device motherboard 001. The main part of the protection circuit board 002 is positioned in the battery compartment 004, which occupies a large space and affects the capacity of the battery assembly 003.
In view of this, the embodiment of the present disclosure provides a battery module and an electronic device capable of reducing the space occupied by a protection circuit board. Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of a battery module according to an embodiment of the disclosure. As shown in fig. 2, the battery module includes a protection circuit module 1 and a battery body 2, the battery body 2 includes a battery cell 21 and a housing 22, and the housing 22 is wrapped outside the battery cell 21. Fig. 3 is a schematic side view of a portion of a battery module according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 2-3, a protection circuit module 1 includes a protection device 11, a connector 12, and a circuit board 13, the circuit board 13 is electrically connected with a battery core 21, the protection device 11, the connector 12, and a portion of the circuit board 13 are located outside a housing 22, the protection device 11 and the connector 12 are electrically connected with the circuit board 13, and the connector 12 is used for electrically connecting with a motherboard 3.
In the battery module provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, the protection device 11 and the connector 12 of the protection circuit module 1 are disposed outside the case 22 of the battery body 2, and the protection device 11 and the connector 12 no longer occupy the space inside the case 22. Under the premise of not increasing the volume of the battery body 2, the battery core 21 can be arranged in a larger space in the shell 22, and the battery core 21 with a larger volume can improve the electric quantity of the battery body 2, so that the endurance time of the electronic equipment can be increased.
In order to make the technical scheme and advantages of the present disclosure more apparent, embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
As shown in fig. 2-3, the battery module comprises a protection circuit module 1 and a battery body 2, the battery body 2 comprises a battery core 21 and a shell 22, the shell 22 is wrapped outside the battery core 21, the protection circuit module 1 comprises a protection device 11, a connector 12 and a circuit board 13, a part of the circuit board 13 is positioned inside the shell 22, the part of the circuit board 13 is used for being electrically connected with the battery core 21, the protection device 11, the connector 12 and another part of the circuit board 13 are positioned outside the shell 22, the protection device 11 and the connector 12 are electrically connected with the circuit board 13, and the connector 12 is electrically connected with an adaptive joint arranged on the main board 3. Illustratively, the connector 12 is a male connector, and the motherboard 3 is provided with a female socket, and the connector 12 is detachably connected with the female socket.
In some embodiments of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 2, the battery cell 21 has a tab 211, the tab 211 is located at a side of the battery cell 21 near the main board 3, a part of the flexible circuit board 132 is located in the housing 22, and the flexible circuit board 132 is electrically connected with the tab 211. For example, the battery core 21 is specifically two tabs 211, the two tabs 211 are respectively an anode and a cathode, and the tabs 211 are connected with the flexible circuit board 132 through nickel sheets, so as to supply power to the main board 3 through the protection circuit module 1. The casing 22 may be made of stainless steel, and the machining precision of the casing 22 made of stainless steel is high, so that the space inside the casing 22 can be fully utilized, and the mounting tolerance of the battery module is reduced. The notched configuration of the housing 22 increases the capacity of the housing 22 so that a larger volume of the battery cells 21 can be accommodated.
Optionally, as shown in fig. 2, a portion of the flexible circuit board 132 located within the housing 22 is provided with a current detection resistor 15. A current sensing resistor 15 is located between the connection of the two tabs 211 and the flexible circuit board 132 for sensing the current through the flexible circuit board 132.
In some embodiments of the present disclosure, referring to fig. 2, the protection circuit module 1 further includes a reinforcing plate 14, one face of the reinforcing plate 14 being connected to a portion of the flexible circuit board 132 located within the housing 22. The reinforcing plate 14 may be a metal plate, such as a steel sheet, and the reinforcing plate 14 is bonded to a side of the flexible circuit board 132 remote from the battery cells 21, thereby supporting the flexible circuit board 132 and preventing the flexible circuit board 132 from being deformed.
Specifically, referring to fig. 2, the portion of the flexible circuit board 132 located inside the case 22 is located between the reinforcing plate 14 and the battery cell 21, and the portion of the flexible circuit board 132 located inside the case 22 and the thickness direction of the reinforcing plate 14 are perpendicular to the side of the battery cell 21 close to the motherboard 3. The portion of the flexible circuit board 132 located in the housing 22 and the reinforcing plate 14 are vertically arranged, so that the space occupied by the portion of the flexible circuit board 132 located in the housing 22 and the reinforcing plate 14 can be further reduced, and a larger space is provided in the housing 22 to arrange the battery cells 21.
In some embodiments of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 2-3, the circuit board 13 includes a rigid circuit board 131 and a flexible circuit board 132, the protection device 11 and the connector 12 are electrically connected with the rigid circuit board 131, and the flexible circuit board 132 is electrically connected with the rigid circuit board 131 and the battery cell 21, respectively. The protection device 11 forms a protection circuit in the hard circuit board 131 for breaking the battery body 2 when the temperature of the battery module is too high, overcharge or overdischarge, thereby providing protection for the battery module. The protection device 11, the connector 12 and the hard circuit board 131 are located outside the housing 22, and only a part of the flexible circuit board 132 is located inside the housing 22, thereby reducing the space inside the housing 22 occupied by the protection circuit module 1 and increasing the volume of the battery cells 21 that can be accommodated.
Optionally, as shown in fig. 3, the connector 12 is located on a first surface of the hard circuit board 131, the protection device 11 is located on a second surface of the hard circuit board 131, and/or the protection device 11 is embedded in the hard circuit board 131, where the first surface is opposite to the second surface. Illustratively, a portion of the protection device 11 is embedded in the hard circuit board 131, and another portion of the protection device 11 is disposed on the second surface of the hard circuit board 131. The connector 12 and the protection device 11 in the embodiment of the present disclosure are both disposed on the hard circuit board 131, not inside the housing 22, which is advantageous in reducing occupation of the internal space of the housing 22.
In some embodiments of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 3, a hard circuit board 131 is stacked with a main board 3, and a first surface of the hard circuit board 131 is opposite to the main board 3. Specifically, the orthographic projection of the hard circuit board 131 on the motherboard 3 is located in the motherboard 3, the connector 12 is directly connected with the motherboard 3, and the connector 12 is welded to the first surface of the hard circuit board 131. The stacked arrangement of the main board 3 and the hard circuit board 131 can reduce the occupation space of the hard circuit board 131, and make the main board 3 and the protection circuit module 1 more compact.
In some embodiments of the present disclosure, referring to fig. 3, the protection device 11 includes a chip 111 and a resistive-capacitive device 112, the chip 111 is embedded in the hard circuit board 131, and the resistive-capacitive device 112 is located on a second face of the hard circuit board 131. Note that, the resistive member 112 refers to a plurality of capacitor devices and a plurality of resistor devices, and the resistive member 112 may be soldered to the second surface of the hard circuit board 131.
In some embodiments of the present disclosure, referring to fig. 3, the second surface of the hard circuit board 131 is provided with a gel 133, and the gel 133 is used to encapsulate the resistive device 112. The glue 133 is injection molded to the second surface of the hard circuit board 131 by SIP (system in a package) to encapsulate the resistor 112, thereby protecting the resistor 112.
Fig. 4 is a schematic partial top view of a battery module according to an embodiment of the disclosure. In some embodiments of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 4, a portion of the flexible circuit board 132 located outside the case 22 is connected to one side of the hard circuit board 131, and the flexible circuit board 132 may be bent multiple times to extend into the case 22.
In addition, the disclosure also provides electronic equipment, which comprises the battery module in any embodiment. The electronic device may be, but is not limited to, a remote control, a tablet computer, an MP3 player (Moving Picture Experts Group Audio Layer III, MPEG 3), an MP4 (Moving Picture Experts Group Audio Layer IV, MPEG 4) player, a notebook computer. The electronic device may also be referred to by other names as user device, portable terminal, laptop terminal, etc. In the electronic apparatus, the protection device 11 and the connector 12 of the protection circuit module 1 are disposed outside the case 22 of the battery body 2, and the protection device 11 and the connector 12 no longer occupy the space inside the case 22. Under the premise of not increasing the volume of the battery body 2, the battery core 21 can be arranged in a larger space in the shell 22, and the battery core 21 with a larger volume can improve the electric quantity of the battery body 2, so that the endurance time of the electronic equipment can be increased.
It should be noted that references herein to "a number", "at least one" means one or more, and "a plurality", "at least two" means two or more. "and/or" describes an association relationship of an association object, and indicates that there may be three relationships, for example, a and/or B, and may indicate that there are three cases of a alone, a and B together, and B alone. The character "/" generally indicates that the context-dependent object is an "or" relationship.
