The bulking machine is a common device in the industries of feed, food and the like and is used for bulking materials after high-temperature and high-pressure treatment so as to achieve the purposes of changing the shape of the materials, improving the taste, sterilizing, disinfecting and the like. The traditional bulking machine adopts a double-shaft structure, wherein the double-shaft bulking machine can improve the mixing effect and the bulking quality of materials to a certain extent due to the fact that the double-shaft bulking machine is provided with two mutually meshed screws. However, as production demands increase, the capacity of conventional twin-shaft puffing machines has been difficult to meet the demands of mass production. Although three-shaft bulking machines exist in the market, the capacity and the mixing effect still have room for improvement.
Referring to fig. 1 to 6, the present utility model proposes a five-axis bulking machine, which adopts a five-screw combined structure, including a central screw 310 and four peripheral screws 320, wherein the four peripheral screws 320 surround the periphery of the central screw 310 to form at least four engagement areas 301, which can greatly increase the productivity of the bulking machine, improve the mixing quality of materials, and reduce the volume and manufacturing cost of the bulking machine.
The five-axis bulking machine includes a power unit 100, a screw barrel 200, and a conveying assembly 300. The power unit 100 includes a motor 110 and a gearbox 120, a rotating shaft of the motor 110 is connected with an input shaft of the gearbox 120, the transmission assembly 300 is connected with an output shaft of the gearbox 120, and the rotation speed and torque are changed by the gearbox 120 to transmit power of the motor 110 to the transmission assembly 300. The gearbox 120 can be a gear box, and the gear box has the advantages of stable transmission, strong bearing capacity, high conversion efficiency, compact structure, low operation noise and the like, and is suitable for the requirements of a five-axis bulking machine.
The screw barrel 200 is disposed at an output end side of the gear box 120, and an extrusion chamber 201 is formed inside the screw barrel 200 for receiving and conveying materials. The conveying assembly 300 is disposed within the extrusion chamber 201 of the barrel 200, and the material is extruded and conveyed by the cooperation of the conveying assembly 300 and the barrel 200.
The conveying assembly 300 is an improved core point of the bulking machine, the conveying assembly 300 comprises a central screw 310 and four peripheral screws 320, the four peripheral screws 320 surround the periphery of the central screw 310, the four peripheral screws 320 can be uniformly distributed or non-uniformly distributed along the circumferential direction of the central screw 310, and the four peripheral screws 320 and the central screw 310 form at least four meshing areas 301. The engagement zone 301 is the primary area for mixing and puffing the material, which is subjected to intense shearing, extrusion and stretching action in the engagement zone 301 by the rotation and intermeshing of the screws, thereby achieving efficient mixing and puffing.
The number of engagement zones 301 has a significant impact on the performance of the expander, and the five-axis expander proposed by the present utility model can form at least four engagement zones 301 using five screws. During the transport of material, the motor 110 transmits power to the transport assembly 300 through the gearbox 120, and the central screw 310 and the four peripheral screws 320 of the transport assembly 300 rotate together. The material moves forward in the extrusion chamber 201 of the screw barrel 200 under the urging of the conveying assembly 300. Because the five screws of the conveying assembly 300 form at least four engagement zones 301, material is transferred between the engagement zones 301 and subjected to more shearing, extrusion and stretching, thereby improving the bulking effect and mixing quality. Meanwhile, due to the adoption of a structure of combining five screws, the productivity of the bulking machine is greatly improved.
The five-axis bulking machine can be widely applied to material bulking and mixing processes in the industries of feed, food and the like. Particularly in the field of feed production, the five-axis bulking machine can obviously improve the mixing quality and the production efficiency of feed products and reduce the production cost due to various feed raw materials and complex formula and higher mixing effect and productivity requirements of the bulking machine.
Compared with the prior art, the five-shaft bulking machine provided by the utility model has the following advantages:
1. The productivity is greatly improved, namely, a structure of combining five screws is adopted to form at least four meshing areas 301, which is equivalent to the productivity of four double-screw bulking machines or two three-screw bulking machines, and the requirement of mass production can be met.
2. The mixing quality is improved, at least four meshing areas 301 can obviously improve the mixing effect of materials, and the feed product is more uniform and finer.
3. The volume is reduced, because the combined structure of five screws is adopted, screws with small diameter and small length-diameter ratio can be selected, the volume and the installation space of the five-axis bulking machine are close to those of a double-screw bulking machine or a three-screw bulking machine, and the requirement on the production field is reduced.
4. The five-axis bulking machine can avoid the great improvement of the manufacturing cost while meeting the requirements of high productivity and high quality, and is beneficial to improving the market competitiveness.

When the set of peripheral screws 320 and central screws 310 are defined as isosceles triangles, the base angle α of the isosceles triangle is a key parameter, and the base angle α is set between 30 ° and 60 °, which is based on intensive studies of material flow characteristics, screw shear force, and bulking effect. For example, as shown in fig. 5, when the base angle α is 30 °, two peripheral screws 320 on the left side also form one engagement zone 301, and as shown in fig. 6, when the base angle α is 45 °, four engagement zones 301 are formed which are uniformly distributed, the flow of the material is more uniform, and the distribution of the shearing force is more reasonable, so that a better puffing effect and higher production efficiency can be obtained.

Referring to fig. 4 and 5, each set of peripheral screws 320 and the central screw 310 form three meshing areas 301, and the five-axis bulking machine has six meshing areas 301, so that the shearing and mixing effects of materials are optimal, the bulking efficiency is improved, and the taste of the bulked product is finer and more uniform.
Referring to fig. 6, in some embodiments of the present utility model, one engagement zone 301 is formed between each peripheral screw 320 and the central screw 310, and four engagement zones 301 are uniformly distributed along the circumference of the central screw 310. During the conveying process, the materials can be subjected to multiple extrusion and shearing in four meshing areas 301, so that better puffing effect and production efficiency are achieved.

The provision of the inner bushing 210 can simplify the structure of the screw cylinder 200 and reduce the cost, improve the wear resistance and the service life of the screw cylinder 200, and the inner bushing 210 can be provided in plurality and installed in the screw cylinder 200 in sequence. The inner bushing 210 is typically made of a wear resistant material, such as cemented carbide or high strength stainless steel, and the shape of the inner bore of the inner bushing 210 matches the spiral shape of the peripheral screw 320 so that the screw, when rotated, cooperates with the inner bushing 210 to effect the transfer of material. In addition, the inner liner 210 also serves to insulate and preserve heat, preventing the temperature of the screw barrel 200 from becoming too high.
Referring to fig. 1, a feed inlet 220 and a discharge outlet 230 are provided on a screw cylinder 200, wherein the feed inlet 220 is provided at an upper side of an outer wall of one end of the screw cylinder 200 near a gearbox 120, materials can smoothly enter an extrusion cavity 201, and the feed inlet 220 is generally connected with a hopper having a conical or funnel-shaped structure, so as to facilitate the feeding and dispersing of the materials. Additional equipment such as a vibrator or agitator may also be provided at the inlet 220 to ensure that the material is evenly dispersed. The feed inlet 220 may also be equipped with a metering device to precisely control the input of material. A discharge port 230 is provided at an end of the barrel 200 remote from the gearbox 120, and a cutting device or box for receiving material may be provided at the discharge port 230 to receive the extruded material.
