It will be apparent, however, to one skilled in the art that the present utility model may be practiced without some of these specific details. Furthermore, it should be understood that the utility model is not limited to specific described embodiments. Rather, any combination of the features and elements described below is contemplated to implement the utility model, whether or not they relate to different embodiments. Thus, the following aspects, features, embodiments and advantages are merely illustrative and should not be considered elements or limitations of the claims except where explicitly set out in a claim.
Terms such as "first," "second," and the like are used hereinafter to describe elements of the present application, and are merely used for distinguishing between the elements and not for limiting the nature, order, or number of such elements. The terms "comprising" and "having" are intended to be inclusive and mean that there may be additional elements/components other than the listed elements/components.
In addition, azimuthal terms such as "front", "rear", "left", "right", "up", "down", etc. are used hereinafter, which is to be understood as the orientation of the product (e.g. inverter cabinet) with respect to the operator in normal use and placement. For example, the front side of the product refers to the side facing the operator and accessible and manipulable directly by the operator (typically, a safety protection cabinet door is provided at the front side of the product, through which the operator can directly operate control components or the like located at the front side), while the rear side of the product is the side opposite the front side, the left side of the product refers to the left side of the product itself with respect to the operator, while the right side of the product is the side opposite the left side, and the upper side of the product refers to the upper side of the product itself with respect to the operator, while the lower side of the product is the side opposite the upper side.
As mentioned in the background section, in the frequency conversion cabinet designs known from the prior art, the transformer unit, the power module unit and the control module unit each consist of three separate cabinets. For example, as shown in fig. 1, a schematic diagram of a frequency converter known in the prior art is shown. In this frequency converter it comprises a control module unit 1', a power module unit 2' and a transformer unit 3' which are arranged independently of each other and in parallel. The transverse footprint of the entire frequency converter (i.e. the width dimension corresponding to the entire frequency converter) is up to 4m, which makes it possible to take up a lot of space during production assembly, transport and use by customers, resulting in higher production and transport costs. In addition, in terms of the design of the cooling system, it is generally necessary to provide two or more (three as shown in the drawing) heat radiation fans 4', which in turn increases the design cost of the inverter.
Therefore, the utility model provides an improved integrated frequency converter which has the advantages of small occupied area, compact structure, convenience in installation and the like, greatly saves the arrangement space and reduces the manufacturing cost and the transportation cost of products.
Fig. 2 and 3 show front views of a frequency converter according to two different embodiments of the utility model, respectively, wherein the frequency converter shown in fig. 2 is provided with two fans, and the frequency converter shown in fig. 3 is provided with only one fan, which reduces the design costs of the frequency converter in terms of cooling system even further compared to the embodiment in fig. 2. Due to the compact design of the frequency converter according to the utility model, satisfactory heat dissipation performance can be provided by using only a single fan. Hereinafter, the frequency converter of the present utility model will be described in detail in an embodiment provided with only one fan.
As shown in fig. 3, which shows an integrated frequency converter that is more compact than prior art frequency converters. Unlike the conventional frequency converter of fig. 1, in the frequency converter shown in fig. 3, the control module unit and the transformer unit are integrated into one sub-cabinet, so that the transverse occupation size or width size of the whole frequency converter is reduced to 2.4m, which greatly reduces the occupation space of the whole frequency converter and correspondingly reduces the number of modules of each phase (for example, from 9 to 8), thereby greatly reducing the production and manufacturing costs and the transportation costs, and saving the cost by about 25 percent.
In particular, referring to fig. 3, the frequency converter may include a base 1 and a frequency converter body disposed above the base 1. The frequency converter body comprises a cabinet 2 in the form of a frame, a control module unit 3, a power module unit 4, a transformer unit 5 (see fig. 4-5) arranged in said cabinet 2, and a plurality of cabinet doors arranged outside the cabinet 2. In particular, with continued reference to fig. 4, the cabinet door provided outside the cabinet body is omitted in order to clearly show the structural arrangement within the cabinet body 2 of the frequency converter. As can be seen from fig. 4, the cabinet 2 comprises a first sub-cabinet 2a and a second sub-cabinet 2b which are spatially independent from each other.
Referring to fig. 4 and 5 in combination, within the first sub-cabinet 2a, there is provided a first vertical partition 21 (see fig. 5) for partitioning the first sub-cabinet 2a into a front area in which the control module unit 3 is arranged for a user to operate the respective control parts and a rear area in which the transformer unit 5 is arranged. In this way, the control module unit 3 and the transformer unit 5 are distributed or integrated in a first sub-cabinet 2a in a back-and-forth relationship with each other, which enables a relatively more compact structural layout. In the first sub-tank 2a, the transformer unit 5 occupies most of the space in the rear of the first sub-tank 2a due to its large volume, and the control module unit 3 is mainly distributed in the front of the first sub-tank, for example, in a depth range of about 275 mm.
Although in the present embodiment, the transformer unit 5 and the control module unit 3 are integrated in the same sub-cabinet, since they are separated by the first vertical partition 21, sufficient electrical safety protection is provided, and at the same time, a corresponding heat dissipation channel is provided, which can reduce the volume of the whole cabinet without affecting the normal use function of the frequency converter. In addition, it is advantageous that, as shown in fig. 4, the first vertical partition 21 extends only over part of the width (rather than the entire width) of the first sub-cabinet 2a, which makes the connection terminals 51 of the transformer unit 5 located in the rear region accessible and exposable from the front region, in order to achieve a connection of the cables.
It should be understood that the above-mentioned control module unit 3 mainly includes a user connection terminal (hereinafter collectively referred to as "first control part 31"), a cabinet body connection terminal (hereinafter collectively referred to as "second control part 32"), and an incoming and outgoing line structure 33 (which includes an incoming line portion 331 and an outgoing line portion 332, which take the structural form of an input and output copper bar) electrically connected between the transformer unit 5 and the power module unit 4. In the cabinet of the frequency converter according to the utility model, a passage space 22 (see fig. 4) is provided through which the subscriber cable extends upwards, in order to facilitate the routing and connection of the subscriber cable.
In the particular arrangement shown in fig. 4, a second vertical partition 23 is also provided inside the first sub-tank 2a for dividing said first sub-tank 2a into a left-hand area and a right-hand area. The first control member 31 and the access structure 33 are arranged in a spaced apart relationship from each other in the left side area, for example by means of a first transverse partition 24, and the second control member 32 is located in an upper portion of the right side area, for example by means of a second transverse partition 25 and the connection terminals 51 of the transformer unit 5. As such, as can be seen from fig. 4, the connection terminals 51 of the transformer unit 5 located in the rear region can be exposed and accessible from the lower portion of the right region as not being shielded by any components, in order to connect the cables.
In order to achieve a cable connection of the power module unit 4 with the connection terminal 51 of the transformer unit 5 (e.g., the secondary side of the transformer), the power module unit 4 is arranged in the second sub-tank 2b at a side close to the connection terminal 51 of the transformer unit 5 (i.e., the right side shown in fig. 3). In other words, the second sub-cabinet 2b is disposed at the side of the first sub-cabinet 2a where the connection terminal 51 of the transformer unit is disposed.
Still referring to fig. 4, in order to facilitate installation and achieve reliable electrical safety, the first vertical partition 21 may be used as a large-sized mounting plate on which a first insulating mounting plate 211 and a second insulating mounting plate 212 may be provided, in addition to the partition between the transformer unit 5 and the control module unit 3, wherein the first insulating mounting plate 211 is used for mounting the incoming line portion 331 in the incoming line structure 33 and the second insulating mounting plate 212 is used for mounting the outgoing line portion 332 in the incoming line structure 33. In addition, corresponding mounting plates for respectively mounting the first control part 31 and the second control part 32 are provided in the cabinet 2, which mounting plates can be designed as detachable movable mounting plates, which makes it easy to preassemble the wiring and saves assembly time.
The above-mentioned arrangement of the various partitions and mounting plates is very advantageous, which not only ensures electrical safety between the individual electrical components, but also improves the heat dissipation performance of the entire frequency converter by advantageously controlling the flow direction of the air.
As mentioned before, a plurality of cabinet doors may be provided on the front outer side of the cabinet body 2. Specifically, as shown in fig. 2 and 3, these cabinet doors may include an independently operable first cabinet door 6 provided at a position corresponding to the second control part 32, and independently operable second and third cabinet doors 7, 8 provided at positions corresponding to the connection terminals 51 of the transformer unit 5 and the power module unit 4, respectively, wherein the second and third cabinet doors 7, 8 are each provided with ventilation windows 71, 81. These ventilation windows together with a fan 9 arranged on top of the cabinet 2 achieve ventilation and heat dissipation of the frequency converter.
As an advantageous design, see for example fig. 6, a third vertical partition 26 is advantageously also provided between the transformer unit 5 and the power module unit 4, so that air entering via ventilation windows 71, 81 in the second and third cabinet doors 7, 8 can only be discharged from the upper discharge opening via said fan 9 from below to above (flow path of the heat dissipating air flow shown by arrows in fig. 6), which ensures that the heat dissipating air flow smoothly flows through the main heat generating components of the transformer without escaping from other passages, thus ensuring efficient heat dissipation.
It should be appreciated that according to the integrated frequency converter of the present utility model, the control module unit 3 and the transformer unit 5 are integrated into one sub-cabinet in a front-to-back arrangement, so that the transverse occupied area of the whole frequency converter is reduced, and thus the production and manufacturing costs and the transportation costs are greatly reduced. In addition, through the setting of various baffles and mounting panel, ensured the electrical safety between each electrical component and still can reliably realize the normal function of converter. In addition, due to the more compact structural design of the integrated frequency converter, the satisfactory heat radiation performance can be provided by using only a single fan, so that the heat radiation performance is improved, and the design cost of the frequency converter in the aspect of a cooling system is further reduced.
It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and variations can be made to the embodiments disclosed above without departing from the scope or spirit of the utility model. Other embodiments of the utility model will be apparent to those skilled in the art from consideration of the specification and practice of the utility model disclosed herein. It is intended that the specification and examples disclosed herein be considered as exemplary only, with a true scope of the utility model being indicated by the following claims and their equivalents.
