A male connector according to claim 2, wherein the side wall protecting portion is an extension of the end wall covering portion in the direction of the long side wall (102), and comprises a side wall top surface covering portion (404) partially covering the top surface of the long side wall (102), a side wall inner side surface covering portion (405) partially covering the inner side surface of the long side wall (102), a side wall outer side surface covering portion (406) partially covering the outer side surface of the long side wall (102), an inner corner covering portion (407) covering the inner corners of the short side end wall (103) and the long side wall (102), and an outer corner covering portion (408) covering the outer corners of the short side end wall (103) and the long side wall (102).
4. A connector assembly comprising the male mount connector of claim 3 and a female mount connector removably electrically connected to the male mount connector, the female mount connector comprising:
A female insulation base (5), the female insulation base (5) comprising a pair of oppositely disposed long side structures (502), a pair of oppositely disposed short side structures (503) and a mid-island structure (501) mated with the central slot (101) of the male insulation base (1);
The female base conductive terminal comprises a female base signal terminal (6) and a female base power terminal (7) which are embedded in a female base terminal groove between the long-side structure (502) and the middle island structure (501);
The female seat protection shell (8) comprises an end protection part and a cap part (806), wherein the end protection part is coated above the end of the female insulation base (5), the cap part is coated on the end of the middle island structure (501), and the connection fixing part (809) is positioned on the inner bottom surface of the female insulation base (5) and used for connecting the end protection part and the middle island protection part into a whole.
5. A connector assembly according to claim 4, wherein the end portion protecting portion comprises a top wall protecting portion (801) entirely covering the top surface of the short side structure (503) and partially covering the top surface of the long side structure (502), an inner wall protecting portion (802) entirely covering the inner side surface of the short side structure (503) and partially covering the inner side surface of the long side structure (502), an outer wall protecting portion (803) entirely covering the outer side surface of the short side structure (503) and partially covering the outer side surface of the long side structure (502), an inner corner protecting portion (804) covering the inner corners of the short side structure (503) and the long side structure (502), and an outer corner protecting portion (805) covering the outer corners of the short side structure (503) and the long side structure (502).

A connector assembly according to claim 5, wherein the connecting and fixing portion (809) is a portion extending horizontally inward from a bottom edge of the outer wall protecting portion (803) on the outer side surface of the short-side structure (503), and integrally connected to the cap portion (806), and elastic contact portions (810) extending vertically upward are provided on both sides of the connecting and fixing portion (809).

A connector assembly according to claim 5, wherein the connecting and fixing portion (809) is an inward extension of the bottom edge of the inner wall protecting portion (802) of the inner side surface of the short side structure (503) and integrally connected to the cap portion (806), and the outer wall protecting portion (803) of the outer side of the long side structure (502) is provided with an elastic abutting portion (814) bent inward and extending upward.

A connector assembly according to claim 4, wherein the inner and outer sides of the male housing (4) are further provided with a fastening groove (410), and correspondingly, a first fastening protrusion (807) and a second fastening protrusion (808) are respectively provided on the inner wall of the end portion protecting portion and the outer wall of the cap portion (806) in an opposite manner.
