The thick-wall member 2 is a block-shaped structural member formed by solid transparent materials, and the shape of the thick-wall member is designed according to the modeling of the car lamp, and can be an arc-shaped bar block, as shown in fig. 2. The following description will be made taking the thick-walled surface 2 as an arc-shaped bar as an example. The thick-wall surface 2 includes an incident surface 21, a total reflection surface 22, and an outgoing surface 23, wherein the total reflection surface 22 and the outgoing surface 23 are opposite ends of the thick-wall member 2, the outgoing surface 23 is an outer circumferential surface of the thick-wall member 2, and the total reflection surface 22 is an inner circumferential surface of the thick-wall member 2. The total reflection surface 22 includes a first total reflection surface 221 and a second total reflection surface 222, the first total reflection surface 221 and the second total reflection surface 222 form a V-shaped structural surface, and the vertex of the V-shaped structural surface is concave toward the light-emitting surface 23. The incident surface 21 includes a first incident surface 211 and a second incident surface 212, the first incident surface 211 and the second incident surface 212 are upper and lower end surfaces of the thick-walled workpiece 2, respectively, the first incident surface 211 is located above the first total reflection surface 221, and the second incident surface 212 is located below the second total reflection surface 222. In the above, total reflection means: light emitted by the LED light source enters the thick-wall member after being refracted through the incident surface, the total reflection principle is utilized at the total reflection surface, namely, when the incident angle is larger than a critical angle when the light enters the air from the medium, the light is totally reflected, the light propagation direction is changed, the light is enabled to continue to propagate in the medium and not to be refracted into the air, wherein the critical angle is arcsin (n 2/n 1), n2 is the refractive index of the material of the thick-wall member, and n1 is the refractive index of the air. The total reflection surface of the thick-wall member is obtained by calculating the direction of the light folded into the thick-wall member through simulation software, and the light after total reflection can be continuously transmitted towards the light-emitting surface along the horizontal direction.
