The single-chip liquid crystal projector is a common projection device, and when the single-chip liquid crystal projector works, light emitted by a light source needs to be processed by an optical device and then projected onto a liquid crystal screen. The liquid crystal screen is generally installed in an installation cavity of a casing of the projection optical machine. The liquid crystal screen needs to be electrically connected with the outside, so that a connecting port is generally required to be additionally arranged on the side wall of the installation cavity of the traditional projection optical machine, and a flexible circuit board on the liquid crystal screen extends out. However, the connection port is difficult to seal, and foreign matters such as dust may enter the mounting cavity from the connection port, thereby affecting the operation of the liquid crystal display.
The imaging capability of the liquid crystal screen can be realized by voltage control, so that the liquid crystal screen in the projection optical machine needs to be electrically connected with the outside. The liquid crystal display is generally provided with a flexible circuit board, and the flexible circuit board needs to extend out of an installation cavity of the liquid crystal display so as to be communicated with the outside. Therefore, a connecting port is additionally arranged on the side wall of the mounting cavity on the traditional projection optical machine, so that the flexible circuit board can extend out.
The liquid crystal screen may affect the quality of imaging if it is disturbed by foreign matters such as impurities, and even it may be difficult to normally image, so the mounting cavity needs to have good sealability. However, the connection port for extending the flexible circuit board, which is additionally arranged on the housing of the traditional projection optical machine, can be generally sealed only by spot-coating sealing silica gel, and has the advantages of high sealing difficulty and poor sealing effect.
In view of this, the present application proposes a projector including a single-chip liquid crystal projector. It is understood that any projector including the single-chip liquid crystal projector may be used as the projector. Fig. 1 to fig. 4 are schematic structural diagrams of a single-chip liquid crystal projector according to the present application.
Referring to fig. 1 to 2, a single-chip liquid crystal projector 100 according to the present application, the single-chip liquid crystal projector 100 includes a housing 1, a heat sink 2, a liquid crystal panel 3, and a sealing member 4. The housing 1 is provided with a mounting cavity 11 inside, and a first side wall 13 of the housing 1 is provided with a communication opening 12 communicating with the mounting cavity 11. The radiator 2 is mounted at the communication opening 12, and the radiator 2 has a mounting surface 22 that covers the housing 1. The liquid crystal screen 3 is installed in the installation cavity 11, the liquid crystal screen 3 is provided with a flexible circuit board 31, the flexible circuit board 31 is used for extending out of the shell 1 from a gap between the installation surface 22 and the shell 1, the sealing element 4 is connected between the installation surface 22 and the first side wall 13 of the shell 1 in a sealing mode, and at least part of the sealing element 4 is abutted against the flexible circuit board 31.
In the technical solution of the present application, the housing 1 of the single-chip liquid crystal projector 100 is not provided with a connection port additionally on the side wall of the installation cavity 11, but is provided with a communication opening 12 communicating with the installation cavity 11. In the present application, the liquid crystal panel 3 is mounted in the mounting cavity 11, and the flexible circuit board 31 of the liquid crystal panel 3 extends from between the mounting surface 22 of the heat sink 2 and the first side wall 13 of the housing 1, so that no additional connection port is required. The mounting surface 22 of the heat sink 2 is covered at the communication opening 12, thereby enabling the single-chip liquid crystal projector 100 to complete sealing by the sealing member 4 sealingly connected between the mounting surface 22 and the first side wall 13 of the housing 1. The communication opening 12 in this application is used for installing the radiator, and communication opening 12 is the conventional setting, does not belong to the connector that additionally sets up, consequently monolithic liquid crystal projector 100 does not have the additional connector that sets up, consequently can make sealed simpler under the prerequisite of liquid crystal display 3 normal use to make the work of liquid crystal display 3 more stable.
In some embodiments, at least a portion of the seal 4 is disposed between the flexible circuit board 31 and the mounting surface 22 or between the flexible circuit board 31 and the housing 1, and the seal 4 is interference fit with the mounting surface 22 and the housing 1.
In a specific application, the flexible circuit board 31 protrudes from the housing 1 from the gap between the mounting surface 22 and the housing 1, so that the gap between the housing 1 and the mounting surface 22 becomes larger and the sealing property becomes worse on the peripheral side of the flexible circuit board 31. In this embodiment, therefore, at least part of the sealing member 4 is provided between the flexible circuit board 31 and the mounting surface 22 or between the flexible circuit board 31 and the housing 1, so that the sealability of the peripheral side of the flexible circuit board 31 can be enhanced, and the gap enlarged due to the flexible circuit board 31 can be sealed, thereby ensuring the sealability of the mounting chamber 11, so that the liquid crystal panel 3 operates normally.
In practice, at least part of the seal 4 is provided between the flexible circuit board 31 and the mounting surface 22 and between the flexible circuit board 31 and the housing 1. That is, the sealing member 4 is provided between the flexible circuit board 31 and the mounting surface 22 and between the flexible circuit board 31 and the housing 1, which can make the sealing property between the mounting surface 22 and the first side wall 13 of the housing 1 better. In the specific installation, the sealing element 4 is mutually pressed with the installation surface 22 and the shell 11, so that interference fit is realized, and the sealing element 4 is in sealing connection with the installation surface 22 and the first side wall 13 of the shell 1 through interference fit.
Referring to fig. 2, in some embodiments, the seal 4 is disposed around the communication opening 12. The liquid crystal panel 3 is not only required to be connected to an external control unit through the flexible circuit board 31, but also required to be attached to the heat sink 2, and thus the communication opening 12 is provided. Foreign matter may enter the mounting chamber 11 from the peripheral side of the communication opening 12, and thus in the present embodiment, the seal 4 is provided around the communication opening 12, thereby sealing the communication opening 12.
In some embodiments, the seal 4 comprises an annular foam 41. Specifically, the sealing member 4 may be provided as the annular foam 41, and the shape of the annular foam 41 may be set corresponding to the communication opening 12, so that the annular foam 41 can be disposed around the communication opening 12, thereby sealing the communication opening 12. The annular foam 41 is simple in structure, low in production cost and convenient to detach and replace. In addition, the seal member 4 has various embodiments in specific applications, for example, the seal member 4 may be made of rubber, or made of silica gel, and the seal member 4 can be elastically deformed by these elastic materials when being pressed against the mounting surface 22 and the housing 1, so that an interference fit is achieved, and sealing is completed, so that the specific embodiment of the seal member 4 can be adjusted according to the use requirement.
Referring to fig. 2-4, in some embodiments, the flexible circuit board 31 includes a first portion 311 disposed between the first side wall 13 of the housing 1 and the mounting surface 22 and a second portion 312 disposed within the mounting cavity 11. The flexible circuit board 31 is provided with a first fold line 314 between the first portion 311 and the second portion 312 so that the first portion 311 can be folded around the first fold line 314 between the mounting surface 22 and the housing 1.
In a specific installation, the first portion 311 of the flexible circuit board 31 needs to be attached to the first side wall 13 and the installation surface 22 as much as possible, so that a gap between the first side wall 13 and the installation surface 22 due to the first portion 311 of the flexible circuit board 31 is reduced as much as possible, and the difficulty of sealing is reduced. When the first portion 311 of the flexible circuit board 31 is attached to the first side wall 13 and the mounting surface 22, the seal 4 is mounted between the first portion 311 and the mounting surface 22 or between the first portion 311 and the housing 1, and therefore the seal 4 needs to be sandwiched between the first portion 311 and the mounting surface 22 or between the first side wall 13 and the seal 4.
Therefore, in the present embodiment, the first folding line 314 is disposed between the first portion 311 and the second portion 312, so that the first portion 311 can be folded around the first folding line 314 relative to the second portion 312, so that the first portion 311 can keep fit with the first side wall 13 and the mounting surface 22, and the sealing member 4 can smoothly seal the gap between the first side wall 13 and the mounting surface 22, so that the liquid crystal screen 3 works normally.
Referring to fig. 1 to 4, in some embodiments, the flexible circuit board 31 further includes a third portion 313 protruding out of the housing 1, and a second fold line 315 is disposed between the first portion 311 and the third portion 313. The third portion 313 needs to be connected to the control unit of the projector, and thus the flexible circuit board 31 needs to be provided extending toward the control unit of the projector. In this embodiment, therefore, a second fold line 315 is provided between the first portion 311 and the third portion 313, so that the third portion 313 can be folded with respect to the first portion 311, so that the third portion 313 can extend towards the control unit of the projector for connection therewith.
Referring to fig. 1 to 4, in some embodiments, a plurality of first heat dissipation fins 21 are disposed on a side of the heat sink 2 close to the mounting cavity 11, and a plurality of second heat dissipation fins 23 are disposed on a side facing away from the mounting cavity; the plurality of first heat radiating fins 21 are provided to extend into the mounting cavity 11 when the heat sink 2 is mounted to the housing 1.
The mounting surface 22 of the radiator 2 is covered on the communication opening 12, the plurality of first radiating fins 21 are actually arranged on the mounting surface, and the radiator 2 can radiate heat for the shell 1 through the plurality of first radiating fins 21 on the mounting surface 22, so that functional elements on the shell 1 are at proper working temperature, and normal working of the projection optical machine is ensured. In practice, the mounting cavity 11 is provided with a communication opening 12 in order to facilitate the heat dissipation of the heat sink 2. Of course, when the heat dissipation capacity of the projection light machine is sufficient, the heat sink 2 may also be provided as other functional elements.
In some embodiments, the second side wall 14 of the housing 1 is provided with a light-passing opening 15 that communicates with the mounting cavity 11, and the light-passing opening 15 corresponds to the light incident surface of the liquid crystal screen 3. The single-chip liquid crystal projection optical engine 100 further comprises a light cone bracket and a light cone, the light cone bracket is installed at the light-transmitting opening 15, the light outlet of the light cone bracket is arranged towards the light incident surface of the liquid crystal screen 3, and the light cone is installed in the light cone bracket.
