Abstract
The present invention relates to garment accessories and may be used for temporary storage of eyeglasses. The eyeglass holder is configured in the form of a two-folded-over-one-strap having at least one buttonhole at each end of the one-strap. The ends of one strip may be fastened to each other to form a closed loop. Each end of a strip may be provided with at least one additional buttonhole. The lower portions of the folded strip may be connected to each other along the lower edge to form the sheath. The proposed utility model is simple, reliable and convenient in structure, which is also versatile.
Description
Technical Field
The utility model relates to clothing accessories and can be used for the temporary storage of eyeglasses.
Background
People who do not use the glasses often have a problem with the placement of the glasses when they do not.
Various devices for temporarily storing eyeglasses are known.
For example, eyeglass holders in the form of a cord with a loop at the end, which is worn on the temple of the eyeglasses, are known.
In this case, the unused eyeglasses hang freely on the chest and the cord protrudes from the eyeglasses worn on the shoulders and back, which is not always aesthetic, and furthermore, such a mounting is not always reliable, since the temples of the eyeglasses often slide out of the hinges of the holder and the eyeglasses can be lost or simply dropped and bumped.
Holders for eyeglasses attached to clothing are known. For example, a Snap 2U magnetic holder made of two parts (-one part in the form of a plate with two magnets, which is located under the garment, and the other part in the form of a bracket with two magnets, which is mounted on top of the garment). During use, when the glasses are placed in the holder, wrinkles are formed on the clothing. Furthermore, the known devices are also unreliable, since under certain forces the magnetic locks do not hold the support on which the glasses are placed, and they can fall and break.
The known holder is hung on a garment button (US 2018317637, 8 months and 8 days 2018). The design is detachable, which allows you to use it alternately on different articles of clothing (types).
Disadvantages of the known design include its unreliability. Because the ring is sufficiently stiff, the eyeglasses suspended from the ring can easily slide and become lost or broken when the user tilts or makes an uncoordinated motion. The button hole itself can also be easily removed from the button. Furthermore, the ring looks unsightly, like a foreign object on a garment, especially without glasses placed on it.
From patent US5903928(1999 5/18), there are known eyeglass holders in the form of fabric loops sewn to details of clothing (shirts, pockets, etc.). Such a ring holds the bow of the eyeglasses securely, does not allow the eyeglasses to fall off when the user tilts, however, the ring is sewn to the garment during its manufacture and cannot be removed and used on another garment.
SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
The task for which the utility model is to be protected is to create a simple, reliable and user-friendly design that makes it versatile.
This problem is solved due to the fact that: the holder for the glasses is made in the form of a strip folded in half, having at least one slotted buttonhole under the button at each end of the strip.
The ends of the belt segments are fastened (secured) to each other to form a closed loop.
At least one additional slotted ring may be made at each end of the length of the belt.
The lower portions of the double folded portions of the band may be interconnected along the lower edge to form a closure. The attachment of the lower edge of the strip may be in the form of stitching, adhesive bonding, or the like.
Under belt is meant a strip (section) of fabric or other material such as polymer, leather, etc.
The proposed product (eyeglass holder) is a separate, stand-alone accessory; there is no need to sew or sew it to the garment during its manufacture or after purchasing the garment. The holder is easy to manufacture and use.
The holder is detached and worn on a button or any button.
The loop from the band securely clasps (covers) the temple of the glasses, which prevents it from slipping. As a result, the loss of the dots or the fall thereof is excluded.
All of the above makes the design versatile due to simplicity, reliability and ease of use of the design.
Drawings
The claimed solution is illustrated by means of graphic materials, in which:
FIG. 1 presents an overall view of the placement of an eyeglass holder on a garment;
FIG. 2 is an external view of an eyeglass holder;
fig. 3 is an open eyeglass holder (blank);
FIG. 4 is an eyewear holder in the form of a housing secured to two or more buttons;
fig. 5 is an eyeglass holder, an option to place on a garment.
Detailed Description
The proposed holder for spectacles is a strip folded in half to form a ring 1. At the end of one strip, there is a slotted ring 2 for the button. Fig. 3 shows a holder blank with a slotted ring 2. Fig. 2 shows the completed holder. The loop 1 is closed and a strip of double-folded is fastened, for example by means of a transverse stitch 3. The user needs to place one cut ring 2 directly on the button 4 and another cut ring 2 on the button 4 covering the edge of the garment (fig. 5). This embodiment of the holder does not allow the ring to roll around the button and ensures a quick, convenient and reliable striking of the glasses with the handle in the holder. Also, the holder can be made of a wide band (the width of the band is commensurate with the size of the eyeglasses) and fastened to two or more buttons, while an additional welt ring 5 is made on the band. In this case, the lower edge of the ring 1 can be fastened to form a housing for the spectacles. The attachment of the lower edge may be glued or in the form of stitches etc.
Patterns, text, applications, etc. may be placed on the holder or on an additional cover. If necessary, for example, if there are no buttons on clothing, T-shirts, sweaters, etc., the eyewear holder may be attached to the garment with a pin or brooch.
The proposed utility model can be used on any garment and, since it is detachable, does not need to be sewn during the manufacturing process or into the details of the garment. The holder can be easily transferred from one garment to another.
Thus, simplicity, reliability, and ease of use make the claimed design versatile, which distinguishes it from previously known.
