The existing process for positioning and adhering the edge banding on the end face of the plate needs to move the plate to another machine for adhering the edge banding to position and then adhere the edge banding after the surface decoration layer is adhered, the edge banding which is adhered to one end face needs to rotate one end face again to position and then adhere the edge banding on the machine, the end face positioning is very time-consuming and needs to be operated accurately by people, and therefore the old art is complex, the quality is not high, and the cost is high.

In the aspect of manufacturing process, three auxiliary turning member strips 5 of strip-shaped combination members are arranged on a decorative surface material 4 for edge covering, which extends from the edge of the front surface of a substrate 1, namely a triangular auxiliary turning member strip 5-1 is adjacent to an end surface 3, and a double-inclined-plane trapezoidal auxiliary turning member strip 5-2; the three pieces are arranged on the edge-covering decorative surface material 4 extending from the edge of the front surface of the base plate 1 in parallel. The auxiliary turning member strips 5 can be made of wood or plastic with strength, the hardness and the strength of the auxiliary turning member strips 5 are higher than those of the decorative surface material 4 for edge covering, and the auxiliary turning member strips 5 are made of materials which can be firmly adhered to the decorative surface material 4 for edge covering and the end face 3 of the base plate 1. The same layer of decorative surface material 4 for edge covering is wrapped outside between the three auxiliary turning component strips 5 and between the auxiliary turning component strips 5 and the edge of the front side of the base plate 1. The hardness strength of the composite of the auxiliary folding member strips 5 to which the covering decorative surface material 4 is attached is higher than that of the one-layer covering decorative surface material 4, so that when three composite of the auxiliary folding member strips 5 to which the covering decorative surface material 4 is attached are folded from the front surface of the substrate 1 toward the back surface 12, the covering decorative surface material 4 can be folded only in order and accurately according to the edge lines of the auxiliary folding member strips 5. Therefore, after the auxiliary turning member strips 5 are adhered to the edge covering decorative surface material 4, the characteristic that each auxiliary turning member strip 5 has higher hardness strength than the edge covering decorative surface material 4 is realized, the three corners of the edge covering decorative surface material 4 adhered together are forced to be orderly and accurately bent from the front surface to the back surface 12 of the base plate 1 to form the end heads by the high-hardness corners of the auxiliary turning member strips 5 to be of a seamless edge covering structure, and the aim of completely performing seamless edge covering on the end surface 3 of the base plate 1 is fulfilled.
The first method is that after the position of the decorative surface material 4 for edge covering is fixed by a mould, the three manufactured auxiliary turning member strips 5 are adhered at the set position; secondly, the area of the base plate 1 is increased, and three auxiliary turning member strips 5 are cut on the base plate with the increased area by a cutting machine, the method is easy to realize automation, and the positions of the three auxiliary turning member strips 5 on the decorative surface material 4 for edge covering are more accurate.
Before bending and edge covering, a method of local heating of a line type such as an infrared ray or a laser can be used for locally heating a line to be bent of a decorative surface material 4 for edge covering, glue is applied to each pasting part, finally, the decorative surface material 4 for edge covering and two or more auxiliary turning member strips 5 pasted on the upper part are bent and pasted by a bent mechanical handle, the end heads of the single-inclined-plane trapezoidal auxiliary turning member strips 5-3 are clamped into the clamping grooves 13, so that the relative positions between the three auxiliary turning member strips 5, the three auxiliary turning member strips 5 and the end surface 3 of the base plate 1 and the back surface 12 of the base plate 1 are mechanically fixed, and the pasting is also promoted to be firm, thereby the end surface of the decorative layer for turning and edge covering is manufactured, and the end head is provided with an edge thickening type zero-gap edge covering plate for increasing the single-inclined-plane trapezoidal auxiliary turning member strips 5-3. The edge-thickened gapless edge-wrapping plate is particularly suitable for being used as furniture and house layer decoration materials, the thickness increased at the edge can be used as a connecting part of a furniture connecting member, materials can be saved in the middle of the plate, the materials of the furniture plate are reduced, the cost is saved, the edge-wrapping and edge-thickening effects are achieved, the plate is durable, the formaldehyde in the substrate 1 is completely sealed, and the environmental safety performance of the product is greatly improved.
