The working principle of the valve is as follows:

2. Quick opening of the small quick-opening valve plate: when the blade of the rotating shaft passes through the limit position, two channels are arranged for hydraulic oil flowing from the second oil chamber to the first oil chamber; one through the regulating valve 13 and the other through the overflow channel 20 in the cover plate of the control, the latter being essential because the resistance of the hydraulic oil in this way is reduced, causing the valve stem 2 to rotate rapidly, bringing the small valve plate 7 to the fully open position (see fig. 4).
The big valve plate is opened soon: after the water pump is started for a period of time, because the small valve plate is opened to reduce partial back pressure, the output power of the water pump motor is slowly increased, the outlet pressure of the water pump is also increased at the same time, and the large valve plate can be quickly opened. The process can protect the water pump motor and ensure the normal work of the water pump.
Secondly, closing the valve: the valve closing is divided into two processes, namely, fast closing and slow closing.
1. Fast switch
Quick closing of a large valve plate: when the pump is stopped, the large valve plate 6 is hung on the valve rod 2, and when the water pump stops running, the large valve plate 6 is quickly closed under the action of self gravity and water head pressure; when the large valve plate is closed to the sealing surface of the valve body, the valve can be closed by automatically aligning the optimal position of the sealing surface under the action of water pressure, and the sealing effect is good.
Quick closing of the small valve plate: when the pump is stopped, the small valve plate 7 drives the valve rod 2 to rapidly rotate under the auxiliary action of the heavy hammer 17, so that the small valve plate is rapidly closed; this process is a quick closing process of the valve.
2. Slow switch
When the rotor blade of the control is rotated to the extreme position of the valve fast-slow switching, this process is relatively slow until the small valve plate is fully closed, since the hydraulic oil flowing from the first oil chamber to the second oil chamber can only be done through the regulating valve 13.
