Description

Furniture drive, guide system and furniture
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a furniture drive for moving a movably mounted furniture part. The invention also relates to a guide system for guiding at least one furniture part which is mounted movably relative to a furniture body; and to a piece of furniture having a furniture drive or guide system of the type to be described.
Background
Furniture drives of the type mentioned at the outset are often also referred to as spring-loaded rope rollers, wherein a pull rope pretensioned by a spring device is provided for driving a furniture part. These furniture drives convert the torque of the spring device into a traction force of the traction cable. The spring device is usually tensioned by pulling the pull-string out of the housing of the furniture drive, so that the pull-string can then be pulled back together with the furniture part by the force of the spring device. The pretensioning of the spring device can be adjusted by means of the adjusting device, so that the closing force of the furniture drive can be adapted to the respective weight of the furniture part to be moved.
In practice, it often happens that the adjusting device is actuated incorrectly, wherein the adjusting device is adjusted, for example by actuating with the aid of a tool, such that either a too high pretension or a too low pretension is present. In particular, with incorrect adjustment of the high pretensioning, it is possible for the spring device to be compressed by the adjustment carried out in such a way that the individual spring turns of the spring device are pressed against one another and clamped to one another. This can lead to damage of the spring device or other components of the furniture drive.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1a shows a perspective view of a furniture drive 1, wherein a housing 2 of the furniture drive 1 can be fastened to a furniture part 34a, 34b, a furniture body 33 or a support 42 (fig. 4b) that is movable relative to the furniture body 33 by means of a fastening section 3. The fastening section 3 can have at least one hole 3a or a plurality of holes 3a for the passage of screws. The fastening sections 3 can be formed in one piece with the housing 2 or can also be formed as separate components.
The rope reel 22 (fig. 1b) is rotatably mounted in the housing 2, wherein the tractive rope 4 is guided around at least one deflection pulley 29 and can be wound and unwound on the rope reel 22. A spring device 23 is provided for prestressing the rope reel 22, wherein the spring device 23 can be tensioned by a movement of the tractive rope 4 in the tractive direction 5 (i.e. by pulling the tractive rope 4 out of the housing 2).
The pretension of the spring device 23 on the rope reel 22 and thus the traction force of the traction rope 4 can be adjusted by means of the adjusting device 6. In the illustrated figures, the adjusting device 6 comprises an adjusting wheel 6a which is rotatable about the axis of rotation 7, wherein the preload of the spring device 23 is increased by a rotation of the adjusting wheel 6a in a first direction of rotation and is reduced by a rotation of the adjusting wheel 6a in a second direction of rotation.
In fig. 1a, the traction rope 4 is in a transport position in which an anchoring element 8 provided on the traction rope 4 is accommodated in an opening 9 of the housing 2. The anchoring element 8 can be fixed to the part to be pulled ( furniture part 34a, 34b, furniture body 33, support 42). The transport position of the traction rope 4 is released in the following manner: for grasping the grip element 10, the pull-in cable 4 is pulled in the pulling direction 5 and the anchoring element 8 is pulled out of the opening 9 against the force of the spring device 23. The anchoring element 8 and/or the grip part 10 can be of substantially spherical design, wherein the anchoring element 8 and the grip part 10 are spaced apart from one another along the pull line 4. Preferably, the grip element 10 has a larger diameter than the anchoring element 8.
For the releasable locking of the setting wheel 6a, a locking lever 12 is provided which is rotatable about a rotational axis and which in the exemplary embodiment shown is designed as a two-armed lever having two lever ends. The adjusting wheel 6a can be locked by a first lever end of the locking lever 12 and can be unlocked by manually applying a force to a second lever end of the locking lever 12.
The setting wheel 6a has a circumferential edge 16 and a plurality of recesses 16a arranged on the circumferential edge 16, wherein the locking lever 12 can be releasably locked with the recesses 16a of the setting wheel 6 a. The locking lever 12 can be pressed against the circumferential edge 16 of the setting wheel 6a by the force of an energy accumulator 26, for example a helical torsion spring. In order to improve the guidance of the locking lever 12, a guide element 13 can be provided, which is guided displaceably along a guide path 14. In the illustrated drawing, the setting wheel 6a is freely movable in the counterclockwise direction, wherein the locking lever 12 loaded by the energy accumulator 26 is guided along the circumferential surface of the setting wheel 6 a. Conversely, movement of the adjustment wheel 6a in the clockwise direction is prevented by the locking lever 12, which engages with the recess 16a of the adjustment wheel 6 a. In order to release the movement of the adjustment wheel 6a in the clockwise direction, the locking lever 12 needs to be released by manual manipulation.
The pretensioning of the spring device 23 can be limited by a limiting device 17 coupled to the adjusting device 6. The limiting device 17 has a movably mounted limiting element 17a, which is preferably mounted rotatably about a rotational axis 18, wherein the driver 15 arranged on the setting wheel 6a can be releasably coupled to at least one recess 19a, 19b, 19c arranged on the limiting element 17a for the purpose of coupling the movement between the setting wheel 6a and the limiting element 17 a. In order to limit the movement of the limiting element 17a, stops 20a, 20b are provided, wherein the collar 27 of the limiting element 17a rests against the first stop 20a in the first end position of the limiting element 17a and against the second stop 20b in the second end position of the limiting element 17 a. The exact operation of the limiting means 17 is explained later with the aid of fig. 2a to 2 e.
Fig. 1b shows an exploded view of the furniture drive 1. A rope drum 22 for receiving the traction rope 4 is rotatably mounted in the housing 2, wherein a spring device 23, preferably at least one helical spring, is coupled with a first end region 24a to the rope drum 22 and with a second end region 24b to a shaft 7a which is rotatable about the rotation axis 7. The rope reel 22 has a first fixing location 31a (fig. 3a) for fixing a first end region 24a of the spring device 23, while the shaft 7a is provided with a second fixing location 31b (fig. 3a) for fixing a second end region 24b of the spring device 23.
The shaft 7a is engaged with the setting wheel 6a and can be rotated by a rotational movement of the setting wheel 6a, wherein the pretension of the spring device 23 is increased by a rotation of the setting wheel 6a in a first rotational direction and is reduced by a rotation of the setting wheel 6a in a second rotational direction. The housing 2 can be fixed by the first bearing plate 21a and by the fastening section 3 to the furniture part 34a, 34b, the furniture carcass 33 or a support 42 mounted movably relative to the furniture carcass 33. The rope reel 22 with the spring device 23 arranged therein can be covered by a cover 25, wherein the housing 2 of the furniture drive 1 can be closed by the second bearing plate 21 b.
The limiting element 17a of the limiting device 17 is releasably held, preferably lockable, in a plurality of predetermined positions by a holding device 28, preferably by at least one spring-loaded ball press. The retaining means 28 in the form of a ball press can be inserted into a plurality of (for example four) bores of the limiting element 17a, so that the limiting element 17a can be releasably locked in a plurality of predetermined rotational positions.
Fig. 2a shows a furniture drive 1 with a traction cable 4 and an adjusting device 6 for adjusting the pretension of the traction cable 4. The adjusting device 6 comprises an adjusting wheel 6a rotatable about the axis of rotation 7 and provided with at least one driver 15, for example in the form of a projection projecting radially from the adjusting wheel 6 a. In fig. 2a, the pretensioning of the spring device 23 is set to a maximum, wherein the driver 15 bears against the curved circumferential surface of the limiting element 17a of the limiting device 17 and therefore cannot be rotated any further in the clockwise direction. The limiting element 17a has a plurality of recesses 19a, 19b, 19c, which can be releasably coupled to the driver 15 of the setting wheel 6 a. When the adjusting wheel 6a is rotated in the counterclockwise direction 30, the locking lever 12 is guided along the circumferential surface of the adjusting wheel 6a, while the locking lever 12 does not prevent the adjusting wheel 6a from moving in the counterclockwise direction.
If the bias of the spring device 23 is now reduced from the maximum bias according to fig. 2a, the setting wheel 6a is rotated in the counterclockwise direction 30. The adjustment wheel 6a can be designed for manual operation or alternatively have a tool receptacle, wherein the adjustment wheel 6a is directly accessible to the user for manual operation or for operation by means of a tool.
By rotating the setting wheel 6a by about 340 ° in the counterclockwise direction 30, the driver 15 is coupled to the first recess 19a of the limiting element 17a, as illustrated in fig. 2 b.
As a result of the further rotation of the setting wheel 6a in the counterclockwise direction 30 starting from the position according to fig. 2b, the retaining device 28 is released (after overcoming the predetermined force) from the first opening of the limiting element 17a, wherein the limiting element 17a is moved in the clockwise direction due to the coupling formed between the driver 15 and the first recess 19 a. The retaining means 28 then engages with the second hole of the limiting element 17 a.
If, starting from the position according to fig. 2b, the setting wheel 6a is rotated again by approximately 340 ° in the counterclockwise direction 30, the catch 15 is coupled to the second recess 19b of the limiting element 17a, as is illustrated in fig. 2 c. As a result of the further rotation of the setting wheel 6a starting from the position according to fig. 2c, the retaining device 28 is released (after overcoming the predetermined force) from the second opening of the limiting element 17a, wherein the limiting element 17a continues to move in the clockwise direction as a result of the coupling formed between the driver 15 and the second recess 19 b. The retaining means 28 then engages with the second hole of the limiting element 17 a. Fig. 2c also shows a preloaded intermediate adjustment, which corresponds to the factory state of the furniture drive 1 at the factory.
If, starting from the position according to fig. 2c, the setting wheel 6a is rotated again by approximately 340 ° in the counterclockwise direction 30, the catch 15 is coupled to the third recess 19c of the limiting element 17a, as is shown in fig. 2 d. As a result of the further rotation of the setting wheel 6a starting from the position according to fig. 2d, the retaining device 28 is released (after overcoming the predetermined force) from the third bore of the limiting element 17a, wherein the limiting element 17a continues to move clockwise as a result of the coupling formed between the driver 15 and the third recess 19 c. The retaining means 28 then engages with the third hole of the limiting element 17 a.
If, starting from the position according to fig. 2d, the setting wheel 6a is rotated again by approximately 340 ° in the counterclockwise direction 30, the driver 15 comes to rest against the curved circumferential surface of the limiting element 17a, as is shown in fig. 2 e. Proceeding from fig. 2e, further movement of the setting wheel 6a in the counterclockwise direction 30 is no longer possible, and the pretensioning of the spring device 23 is therefore limited to a minimum.
If the pretension of the spring device 23 is increased again, starting from the minimum position shown in fig. 2e, the locking lever 12 can be released, so that the setting wheel 6a is released for movement in the clockwise direction. Starting from fig. 2e, only four complete revolutions of the setting wheel 6e in the clockwise direction are possible until the setting wheel 6a again reaches the end position according to fig. 2a, in which the pretensioning of the spring device 23 is limited to the maximum permissible value.
Starting from the intermediate adjustment of the pretensioning according to fig. 2c, which corresponds to the factory state of the furniture drive 1 at the factory, a maximum of two complete revolutions of the adjusting wheel 6a in the clockwise direction and a maximum of two complete revolutions of the adjusting wheel 6a in the counterclockwise direction 30 are also possible. In fig. 2a to 2e, there are overall five predetermined pretensions of the spring device 23, which pretensions can be set for five different weights of the furniture parts 34a, 34 b. It is further noted that the setting wheel 6a is not moved during the movement of the control cable 4, but that the movement of the setting wheel 6a is set only during the pretensioning of the setting spring device 23.
Fig. 3a shows the spring device 23 fitted on the rope reel 22. A first fastening point 31a is provided on the rope reel 22, which first fastening point forms a first end region 24a for receiving the spring device 23. The shaft 7a which is rotatable about the axis of rotation 7, which shaft can be rotated by the adjusting wheel 6a, is provided opposite a second fastening point 31b which forms a second end region 24b for receiving the spring device 23. The second fastening point 31b can be configured, for example, as a slot provided in the shaft 7a, which slot extends in the longitudinal direction of the shaft 7 a.
Fig. 3B shows, in an enlarged view, the area B circled in fig. 3a, while fig. 3c shows, in an enlarged view, the area a circled in fig. 3 a.
Fig. 4a shows an exemplary use possibility of a furniture drive 1 in connection with a piece of furniture 32 having a furniture body 33 and plate-shaped furniture parts 34a, 34b which are movable relative thereto; 35a, 35b in the form of a door leaf. Furniture parts 34a, 34 b; 35a, 35b are mounted movably by a guide system 36 between a first position, in which the furniture parts 34a, 34 b; 35a, 35b are oriented substantially coplanar with one another, and in the second position, the furniture parts 34a, 34 b; 35a, 35b are oriented substantially parallel to each other. In the (parallel) second position, the furniture parts 34a, 34b can be moved in the direction of movement M1 into the receiving compartment 39a of the side of the furniture body 33, while the two other furniture parts 35a, 35b can be moved into the other receiving compartment 39b in a position parallel to each other. The guide system 36 comprises a first guide rail 38a having a longitudinal direction L, wherein a guide carriage 37, which can be connected to the second furniture part 34b, is mounted so as to be movable along the first guide rail 38 a.
Fig. 4b shows a piece of furniture 32, wherein the furniture parts 34a, 34b are moved from the coplanar position shown in fig. 4a into an angled position relative to one another. The first furniture part 34a is pivotably mounted on a bearing 42 via two or more furniture hinges 41. The support 42 is mounted in the receiving compartment 39a so as to be movable in a first direction of movement M1, i.e. in the direction of the depth of the furniture body 33, between an inward-moving position and an outward-moving position. In the shown figures, the carriage 42 is in a transport position in which the carriage 42 is connected to the first guide rail 38a along the longitudinal direction L, so that the guide carriage 37 can be transferred back and forth between the first guide rail 38a and the carriage 42. In the illustrated transfer position, the support 42 is releasably locked to the first rail 38a, wherein the locking between the first rail 38a and the support 42 is releasable by the guide slide 37 being introduced into the support 42 or onto the support. The two furniture parts 34a, 34b are connected to one another in an articulated manner about a vertically extending axis by means of at least one hinge fitting 40.
Fig. 5a shows a piece of furniture 32 with furniture parts 34a and 34b, which are now oriented parallel to one another. The abutment 42 has been unlocked from the first guide rail 38a by the introduction of the guide slide 37, so that the abutment 42 (together with the guide slide 37 and the furniture part 34a, 34b) can be moved in the first movement direction M1 along a second guide rail 38b (fig. 6a) extending transversely to the longitudinal direction L into the receiving compartment 39 a.
Fig. 5b shows a piece of furniture 32 with furniture parts 34a and 34b, which are now in the completely retracted state in the receiving compartment 39 a. The furniture parts 34a, 34b are then mounted so as to be movable by the guide system 36, starting from a first position, as shown in fig. 4a, in which the furniture parts 34a, 34b are oriented substantially coplanar with one another, and a second position, as shown in fig. 5b, in which the furniture parts 34a, 34b are oriented substantially parallel to one another and can be accommodated in the interior of the receiving compartment 39 a. In this way, the kitchen appliance, for example shown in fig. 5a, 5b, can be completely covered, so that the kitchen appliance 43 can be visually separated from the other areas of the living room. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the receiving compartment 39a is formed by two side walls 44a, 44b of the furniture carcass 33 which are spaced apart from one another, wherein the furniture parts 34a, 34b can be moved in a position parallel to one another in a first direction of movement M1 between the two side walls 44a, 44 b.
Fig. 6a shows the position of the furniture parts 34a, 34b according to fig. 5a, in which the furniture parts 34a, 34b are oriented parallel to one another and are outside the receiving compartment 39 a. A guide system 36 is visible, which has a first guide rail 38a and at least one (in the present case) at least two second guide rails 38 b. These second rails 38b, which are spaced apart from one another in the height direction, are fixed on the side walls 44a and extend transversely to the first rails 38 a. The furniture part 34a is connected to the carrier 42 in an articulated manner via a plurality of furniture hinges 41, wherein the carrier 42 can be moved (for example by means of a scissors mechanism 45) along the second guide rail 38 b. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the furniture drive 1 is mounted on a side wall 44a, wherein the carrier 42 is at least partially movable along the second guide rail 38b by the furniture drive 1.
At the rear end of the upper (second) guide track 38b, at least one ejection device 46 is provided, by means of which the furniture parts 34a, 34b can be ejected from the receiving compartment 39a, starting from the parallel position shown in fig. 5 b. In the embodiment shown, the abutment 42 can be pushed out of the retracted position in the direction of the pushed-out position by the push-out device 46 and can be moved into the extended position by the furniture drive 1.
The ejection device 46 can have, for example, a touch-latch function, i.e., the abutment 42 can be moved from the retracted position (see fig. 5b) by applying pressure to the abutment 42 (i.e., by applying pressure to the furniture parts 34a, 34b) into an overpressure position after the retracted position, so that the ejection device 46 can be triggered. Starting from the retracted position in the receiving compartment 39a, the support 42 is thus initially pushed out by the push-out device 46 in the direction of the extended position, so that the support 42 can be driven by the force of the furniture drive 1 up to the extended position of the support 42 (see fig. 5 a).
Fig. 6b shows the area circled in fig. 6a in an enlarged view. It can be seen that the furniture drive 1 is mounted on the side wall 44a, with the anchoring element 8 of the pull-cord 4 in the transport position, i.e. in the opening 9 of the furniture drive 1. The anchoring element 8 can be released from the opening 9 by manually applying a traction force to the grip element 10 against the force of the spring means 23. A fastening device 47 is provided on the support 42, which fastening device has a first receiving space 47a for receiving the anchoring element 8 and a second receiving space 47b for receiving the grip element 10. If the anchoring element 8 is removed from the opening 9, the pull-string 4 can be introduced through the slot 48 of the receiving chamber 47a and the anchoring element 8 can be positioned in the first receiving chamber 47a of the abutment 42. The second receiving space 47b is designed for storing the handle part 10.
The assembled state of the pull cord 4 is depicted in fig. 6c, wherein the anchoring element 8 is accommodated in the first receiving chamber 47a and the handle grip 10 is accommodated in the second receiving chamber 47 b. The pull-in cable 4 of the furniture drive 1 can thus be assembled and disassembled without tools, and the adjustment of the pretensioning of the spring device 23 can also be achieved without tools by manual manoeuvrability of the adjustment wheel 6 a.
