The CAN bus test device 201, the entertainment system installation interface and the diagnostic interface 202 are all interconnected by a communication bus 203. The power supply device 104 is electrically connected to and supplies power to the entertainment system mounting interface. The entertainment system under test comprises an entertainment system host 2103, the entertainment system mounting interface of the testing device comprises an entertainment system host mounting interface 205, the entertainment system host mounting interface 205 is adapted to interface with an interface 2104 of the entertainment system host 2103. The entertainment system application layer protocol based testing device of claim 1, wherein the entertainment system under test comprises an air conditioner controller, the entertainment system mounting interface of the testing device comprises an air conditioner controller mounting interface, the air conditioner controller mounting interface adapted to interface with an interface of the air conditioner controller.

The entertainment system application layer protocol based test device of claim 7 wherein the entertainment system application layer protocol emulation messages comprise air conditioner controller emulation messages, the entertainment system configuration information comprises air conditioner controller configuration information, and the air conditioner controller installation interface is adapted to transmit the air conditioner controller configuration information and the air conditioner controller emulation messages.
