The toy building block of claim 1, wherein the housing includes two opposing first and second bodies, the first body having a positioning post thereon, the second body having a positioning hole thereon, the positioning post having a free end thereof engaging the positioning hole to connect the first and second bodies together.

The toy building block of claim 1, wherein the receiving groove is substantially U-shaped in axial cross-section, the bottom surface of the receiving groove being recessed inwardly to form a spherical groove into which the spherical end of the handle connector is inserted, the spherical groove being capable of retaining the spherical end of the handle connector to prevent the handle connector from being removed from the spherical groove of the housing, and the spherical groove being in sliding engagement with the spherical end of the handle connector to allow the handle connector to rotate about the spherical end thereof.

The toy building block according to any one of claims 1-3, wherein a groove adapted to said protrusion is formed on each of two sides of the second connector in the width direction of the front vertical plate, a groove adapted to said protrusion is formed on each of two sides of the second connector in the width direction of the rear vertical plate, the widths of the front vertical plate and the rear vertical plate are adapted to the widths of the first, second, third, and fourth slots, and the front vertical plate and the rear vertical plate of the second connector can be engaged with any one of the first, second, third, and fourth slots.

The toy building block of claim 1, wherein a connecting post is provided at each of two ends of the building block rod in the longitudinal direction, the connecting post is provided with an annular groove adapted to the protrusion, the connecting post has a diameter adapted to the groove width of the first, second, third and fourth engaging grooves, and the connecting post of the building block rod is engageable with any one of the first, second, third and fourth engaging grooves.
6. The construction toy set forth in claim 1, wherein the building bars include a first building bar, a second building bar, and a third building bar.
7. The construction toy according to claim 6, wherein the number of catch bars of a first building bar is 9, the number of catch bars of a second building bar is 5 and the number of catch bars of a third building bar is 3.
8. The construction toy according to claim 1, wherein the connecting rod of the handle-connecting member has 4 axial relief grooves uniformly distributed on the outer circumferential surface thereof.
