In the mounting structure of the internal combustion engine 100 according to the present embodiment, since the upper surface of the chamber upper cover 122, which is the positive crankcase ventilation chamber of the chamber 120, has the flat surface 126 in a wide range, the protrusion 128 can be formed on the flat surface 126 of the chamber upper cover 122 with good rigidity, compared to the case where the protrusion 128 is formed on the side or corner of the chamber upper cover 122. The intake member is fixed to the protrusion and mounted above the chamber and the intake manifold.
2. The mounting structure of an internal combustion engine according to claim 1, wherein the chamber includes a chamber upper cover and a chamber lower cover fixed to each other, and the flat face and the protruding portion are formed on an upper face of the chamber upper cover.
3. The mounting structure of an internal combustion engine according to claim 1, wherein the intake member has a fixing portion with which the intake member is mounted above the chamber and the intake manifold fixed on the protruding portion.
4. The mounting structure of an internal combustion engine according to claim 1, wherein the chamber is a positive crankcase ventilation chamber.
5. The mounting structure of an internal combustion engine according to claim 1, wherein the air intake member is an air cleaner.
