Abstract
A vehicle driving safety warning system comprises a central controller, a speed and distance measuring sensor and a rear optical warning device, wherein the speed and distance measuring sensor is installed at the tail of a front vehicle and is in communication connection with the central controller; the speed and distance measuring sensor is arranged to automatically measure the distance between the front automobile and the rear automobile and the relative driving speed of the rear automobile relative to the front automobile in real time, and transmit the data of the distance and the relative driving speed to the central controller; the central controller is configured to: receiving distance and relative driving speed data transmitted by the speed and distance measuring sensor, then judging whether the distance is greater than a preset safe distance threshold value and whether the relative driving speed of a rear automobile is greater than a preset safe speed threshold value, if the distance is less than the safe distance threshold value and the relative driving speed of the rear automobile is greater than the safe speed threshold value, the central controller drives the rear optical warning device to emit light so as to send an optical warning signal to a rear automobile driver.

Preferably, the optical warning indicator is a brake lamp mounted at the tail of the front automobile. The speed and distance measuring sensor is a radar sensor or an infrared sensor and is arranged in the brake lamp; the central controller is further configured to drive the brake light to produce a brightness that the vehicle has when braking when the distance is less than the safe distance threshold and the relative speed of travel of the rear vehicle is greater than the safe speed threshold.
Further preferably, the safe distance threshold is 100 meters, and the safe speed threshold is 50 km/h.

As shown in the figure, the rear radar sensor 20 automatically measures the distance between the front vehicle 100 and the rear vehicle 200 and the relative traveling speed of the rear vehicle 200 with respect to the front vehicle 100 in real time (step S301), and transmits data of the distance and the relative traveling speed to the central controller 10 (step S302); subsequently, the central controller 10 receives the distance and relative traveling speed data transmitted from the rear radar sensor 20 (step S303), and then determines whether the distance is greater than a predetermined safe distance threshold, such as 100 meters, and the relative traveling speed of the rear automobile 200 is greater than a predetermined safe speed threshold, such as 50 km/h (step S304), and if the distance is less than the safe distance threshold and at the same time the relative traveling speed of the rear automobile 200 is greater than the safe speed threshold, the central controller 10 drives the rear optical warning device 30 to emit light (step S305). Otherwise, the process continues to return to step S301 and starts over.

Therefore, as long as the relative driving speed of the rear automobile 200 is greater than the predetermined safe driving speed and the distance between the front automobile 100 and the rear automobile 200 is less than the safe distance, the rear optical warning device 30, such as an automobile brake lamp, emits high light to form a strong visual warning effect on the driver of the rear automobile 200, and particularly, because the brake lamp is high, a virtual braking effect is formed for the driver of the rear automobile 200, the driver of the rear automobile 200 considers that the front automobile performs a braking action, and then the driver of the rear automobile 200 generates a driving alert effect, while the driver of the front automobile 100 is considered to decelerate in subconscious, and finally the driver of the rear automobile 200 is prompted to improve the safety meaning and possibly decelerate, so that the occurrence of a traffic accident that two automobiles collide with the rear is avoided, and the driving safety is improved.
