母线槽是由金属板(钢板或铝板)为保护外壳、导电排、绝缘材料及有关附件组成的系统。它可制成标准长度的段节，并且每隔一段距离设有插接分线盒，也可制成中间不带分线盒的馈电型封闭式母线。为馈电和安装检修带来了极大的方便。
在母线分支取电时需要使用插接装置，而传统的插接装置一般体积大、防护等级低、接拨不方便、安全防护能力较低、生产装配繁琐、装配困难。

弹性导电片3有五组，分为两排排列，合理利用空间，减小母线槽1的体积，保护罩保护母线槽1及内部部件，限制框6使弹性导电片3位置明显，利于安装，弹性圈5保证弹性导电片3使用中不产生松动，插接孔4与母线插接箱的插脚对应连接。
