当高跟鞋较高时，穿起来就会很不舒服，穿的时间太久，高跟鞋会使脚底的皮肤长出鸡眼及茧子，严重时会出现脚趾囊肿，使大脚趾关节向内侧倾斜生长且变大。
当高跟鞋的高度上升到6-8厘米时，在走路时，你的身体重心会自然上移。一项研究发现，如果你穿着7厘米的高跟鞋走2小时，脖颈僵硬度会上升22%，健康专家通常不建议长期面对电脑的OL穿6-8厘米的高跟鞋，这样只会让你的脖子越来越累。
