目前的防撞护栏为普通钢条焊接而成，较轻的冲击力就会造成护栏变形或断裂，变形处或断裂处容易刮伤汽车；撞击力较大时无法阻止事故车辆跃出道路，造成安全隐患。

为了解决现有防撞护栏容易变形断裂的问题，本实用新型提出一种抗冲击性好、寿命长、安全性更高的道路防撞护栏。
本实用新型的道路防撞护栏，包括立柱，立柱下部安装底座，其特征在于立柱上有两个横孔；两个立柱间设置横杆，横杆插入两端的横孔内；横杆上设置竖孔，竖孔内固定有U型钢条；U型钢条等距分布。
作为优选，立柱上设置有反光膜，作为警示标志，提醒来往车辆注意。
