如图1和2所示，本实用新型的一种大型空冷风机环形消声装置，它包括风机1、中间过渡段2和消声器4，中间过渡段2分别与风机1风筒3和消声器4外壳连接，消声器4内部填充有消音棉5，消声器4为圆环消声器，圆环消声器外表面为25%穿孔率的多孔板6。
可使整个空冷岛风机的噪声降低，大型空冷风机环形消声装置中下部消声器4的安装，能改善上部风机1叶轮的进气流场，使风机1效率提高1.5%。
