在现有技术中，一般理发围布采用布做材质。然而在当前生活中，人们都用报刊杂志或电子用品娱乐，比如手机、平板电脑。当时在理发过程中，不易也不便将这些手机、平板电脑拿出观看，在理发围布下也无法观看。目前有一种类似衣服带有袖子的理发围布，这样可以使用报刊杂志、手机或平板电脑，但是特别是在使用手机或平板电脑的时候理发过程中头屑，头发会丢进手机或平板电脑的细小缝隙或音箱听筒的小孔中，因而影响手机或平板电脑的使用，严重的将造成损坏。
