目前市场上所见的砖块成型机多数为单一规格型号的模具，使用的范围比较窄，有一定的局限性，且不好更换模具，也不能够与其他的砖机的配套设施相结合，费时、费力，工作效率不高，自动化程度也不高，有些机型采用电磁脱钩、减速机及链条进车的方式等结构，不能够直上直下，使得受力不够均匀，且使用寿命短。
