针对上述问题，本实用新型提供一种设计合理、能护指且易用的菜刀。一种护指易用的菜刀，包括：刀体、刀刃、刀把、凸起块、软质挡块、开盖器和拇指半环托，其特征在于，所述刀体中部两侧设有所述凸起块，所述凸起块中部设计有卡口，所述软质挡块设计有卡套与所述凸起块的对应卡口相连接，所述刀体和所述刀把的连接处上部置有所述拇指半环托。
