轮椅是常见的医疗辅助器械，但是现有的轮椅的功能都比较单一，且安全性不高，当病人要进行一些护理时，使用传统的轮椅显得十分不方便。首先，当病人外出检查或者残疾人员使用时，使用过程中常常会遇到下坡路段，容易造成意外；其次，患者或残疾者在轮椅上洗头时没有相应的配套构造，无法进行这些动作；再次，患者或残疾人外出时，在轮椅上难以解决大小便问题。
