如图1、2所示，本实用新型的课桌，包括桌面1，桌面1连接有挡板2，挡板2为一侧面开口的中空结构，挡板2背向开口的侧面与桌面1的前侧面之间通过铰链3连接。桌面1的上表面边缘设置有凹槽4。使用时，可以将挡板2通过铰链3叠放在桌面1上，这样就可以将文具放在开口内，这样就不会文具就不会掉到地上去，同时，还可以将书本的上部分放入开口内。不使用时，将挡板2绕铰链3转过去，挡板2的上表面就会与桌面1在同一平面，桌面1的使用面积会增大。很方便。桌面1上表面边缘的凹槽4同样可以防止文具滚下桌面1。
