办公用椅子是脑力劳动者工作时的必须用具，长时间坐姿工作，往往会腰酸背痛，坐姿工作者休息或思考时，会向后依靠在椅子靠背上，而普通椅子的靠背固定设置，无法根据坐着时的不同姿势，调整与人体背部贴附的程度与角度，让人感觉不舒适。

当人坐着时，仅腰部靠在椅子靠背上，靠背不动，当人体肩背部靠向椅子靠背时，靠背上部受到挤压力，靠背随靠背支座以支撑轴为轴心向后转动，V型弹簧片受到挤压力而变形靠近，靠背上部向后弹性移动。
