本发明涉及一种具有一光源校准系统的锯,该锯无需内部干电池向该光源供电。
背景技术
斜切锯、便携式圆锯、悬臂锯、切割锯和复合锯用来精确切割木头和其他材料。例如,使用斜切锯和复合锯把护壁板、冠顶花边、穹窿花边和各种镶面零件和结构件切割成精确尺寸。这类圆锯一般包括一高速转动、切割工件的锯片。锯片受一可伸缩护罩的保护,该护罩罩住锯片,但当锯片与工件接触时后退。工件固定在一底板和一转台上,它们与一挡板一起用来对要用该锯切割的工件进行定位。
切割前,为确保精度一般按照精确测量用铅笔在工件上待切割部位作标记。这些类型的锯的一个共同问题是,需要技术熟练的操作员始终校准工件与锯片,使得用锯片刀刃在预定位置上切割工件。使用现有锯,在锯开始切割材料前无法知道锯的校准是否正确。当锯片接触工件时其方向如设定得不正确会造成工件报废。
Kelly的美国专利No.5,862,727提出了一种用于圆锯的激光心轴。Kelly专利使用一用于圆锯的半导体激光心轴,该激光心轴用一离心开关开动,把激光光束照射到一工件上。Kelly专利公开了一用干电池供电的光源。使用电池的一个问题是,点亮半导体激光光源须耗费大量干电池电源,造成干电池寿命短,经常需要更换干电池。同样,Caluori等人的美国专利No.6,035,757同样公开了一种用于圆锯、有一聚焦透镜的半导体激光光束校准装置,该聚焦透镜使得激光光束照射到锯片切割线上。Caluori专利同样依赖于装在激光心轴上的干电池电源。与Kelly专利一样,该系统的问题是干电池寿命短。
本申请受让人已销售同在审理中的美国专利SerialNo.09/860,898所述干电池供电激光校准装置,该专利申请的名称为“Miter Saw Having a Light Beam Alignment System”,它作为参考材料用作一般背景知识包括在此。
本申请人研制出一种使用激光心轴外部电源的激光校准系统,从而解决了干电池寿命问题。
发明内容
按照本发明的一个方面,提供一种斜切锯(或其他圆锯),该斜切锯包括一有一心轴的电动机,心轴上装有一锯片,电动机转动锯片切割位于一转台或锯台上的工件。该电动机是一锯头组件的一部分,一臂相对转台支撑该锯头组件。一激光或其他照射光源(下面称为“激光”或“光源”)装在一激光心轴壳体上,该壳体固定在心轴上,与锯片一起由电动机转动。该光源从壳体把一窄光束照射到锯片旁一位置上,用来检查锯片是否与工件对准。一位于激光心轴壳体外部的电源向该光源供电。
本发明还可定义为一用于一圆锯的激光心轴,该圆锯有一心轴,该心轴使锯片相对该锯一非转动部分转动。该激光心轴包括一LED激光和一与该激光连接、向激光供电的电路。该电路从一电压源提供电源,该电源的一部分固定在该锯的非转动部分上。
按照本发明的另一个方面,用于圆锯的该激光心轴的该电路可进一步包括一发电机,该发电机包括一与心轴相联的转子和一与该锯的非转动部分相联的定子。当心轴使转子相对定子转动时产生电能。
按照本发明的另一个方面,用于圆锯的该激光心轴可有一感应耦合电源。该感应电源可包括激光心轴内部一随心轴转动的第一感应线圈和装在心轴旁并在第一线圈中生成感应电压的第二感应线圈。第一感应线圈与一向光源直接供电的电源调节电路电连接。按照本发明的另一个方面,该光源可为LED激光。
该电路也可包括一用滑环触点电连接的电源,该滑环触点在该电源与该电路之间确立电接触。该滑环触点可包括随心轴一起转动的第一组触点和静止的并接触笫一组触点的第二组触点。该电路进一步包括一在预定电压范围内向激光供电的电源调节电路。

具体实施方式
图1示出一有一圆形锯片12的锯10。锯10还包括一底座13和一转台14,该底座和该转台14一起构成一整体用标号15表示的支撑台。支撑台15上有一挡板16。一工件18置于支撑台15上,锯10切割工件18时工件抵靠挡板16。一臂20连接电动机组件22与转台14。电动机组件22构成整体用标号24表示的锯头组件的一部分。电动机组件22驱动锯片12。锯片12用一固定护罩28和一可后退罩30保护。一手柄12用来操纵锯头组件24。
该实施例所示锯10为一滑动复合斜切锯,该斜切锯包括一斜接角调节结构38和一横向倾斜接角调节机构40。尽管所示实施例为一滑动复合斜切锯,但本发明同样适用于其他类型的圆锯如简单斜切锯、复合斜切锯、切割锯、便携式圆锯或悬臂锯。锯头组件24可枢转地连接在臂20上,包括一通常使锯头组件24偏离而不与工件18啮合的弹簧(未示出)。
当操作员要用锯10切割时,操作员抓住手柄32、压下使得圆形锯片转动的板机后把锯向下拉向工件18。斜接角调节机构38用来相对底座13转动转台14,改变切割斜角。横向倾斜接角调节机构40用来枢转锯头组件24,以调节锯片12相对支撑台15的斜度。
图2示出一有一激光心轴42的锯10。激光心轴42靠近锯片12地装在锯片的心轴上。激光心轴42随心轴44一起转动时从激光心轴42向外照射一激光光束48。该光束向锯片稍稍倾斜地照射到工件顶面上的锯片切割工件处。尽管所示光源为激光,但锯10也可使用其他光源如发光二极管(LED)激光、基于聚光电灯泡的系统或其他小灯。
参见图1和2,一定子50靠近激光心轴42地装在固定护罩28上。定子50可包括一生成磁通量的电磁铁或永久磁铁,激光心轴42穿过磁通转动而产生电,这在下文详述。
图3示出本发明另一实施例,在该实施例中,一固定感应线圈52构成装在固定护罩28上的定子50的一部分。该激光心轴的一壳体54包裹一转动感应线圈56。该壳体54和转动感应线圈56装在一支撑一LED激光模块60的激光心轴垫圈58上。该激光模块60经垫圈58上一槽62射出一光束。在线圈56中感应生成的电受通常使用在电动牙刷之类中的那类现有感应耦合电源电路的调节后向激光模块60供电。静止感应线圈52由一AC电源或一脉冲极性反转或DC开关电源供电,从而在位于线圈52的磁场中的转动感应线圈56中生成感应电流。
图4示出另一实施例,在该实施例中,一永久磁铁64装在固定护罩28上。永久磁铁64最好由用铁素体或其他公知磁性陶瓷材料制成的多段弧形陶瓷永久磁铁(未示出)构成。一壳体66装在一激光心轴垫圈68上,一弧形线圈70装在激光心轴垫圈68上。线圈70随激光心轴模块在由永久磁铁64生成的极性交替的磁通(N-S-N)中转动,从而生成供应给激光心轴垫圈68的电。
图5示出另一实施例,在该实施例中,激光心轴84的激光心轴垫圈82的轮毂81上有包括触点80的第一组触点。一壳体85用来盖住激光心轴84的各部件。心轴88上有与触点80保持接触的触点86。心轴88上在与激光心轴84相间隔位置上有一对滑环触点90。滑环触点90与触点91连接并与触点86电连接。激光模块92受激光心轴垫圈82的支撑并引导激光光束通过在激光心轴垫圈82中形成的槽94射出。
在结合图3-5所述各实施例中,无需干电池向激光模块供电。
可把一电路板96用作电源调节电路,该电路板可装在垫圈上,也可内置在激光心轴中。在图3中,示出可用作该供电电路一部分的一AC脉冲反向电路98。
尽管以上示出和说明了本发明实施例,但这些实施例并不示出、说明本发明的所有可能形式。而是,本说明书中使用的词语是说明性的而非限制性的,应该指出,在本发明精神和范围内可作出种种改动。

Claims (18)

1、一种用在具有一心轴的锯的激光心轴,该心轴相对该锯的一非转动部分转动一锯片,该激光心轴包括:
一壳体;
至少一部分位于该壳体中的一激光;
一与该激光电连接、向该激光供电的电路,该电路从一电压源供电,该电压源包括装在该锯的非转动部分上的一部分。
2、按权利要求1所述的用在具有一心轴的锯的激光心轴,其特征在于,该电路进一步包括一发电机,该发电机包括一与该心轴相连的转子和一与该锯的非转动部分相连的定子,从而当心轴相对定子转动转子时生成电能。
3、按权利要求1所述的用在具有一心轴的锯的激光心轴,其特征在于,该电路进一步包括一发电机,该发电机包括一装在一固定护罩上的永久磁铁和由心轴转动的一弧形线圈段。
4、按权利要求1所述的用在具有一心轴的锯的激光心轴,其特征在于,该电路进一步包括一感应耦合电源,该感应耦合电源包括由心轴转动的第一感应线圈和在该锯非转动部分上的第二感应线圈;激光光束的功率由该感应耦合电源供应。
5、按权利要求1所述的用在具有一心轴的锯的激光心轴,其特征在于,该电路进一步包括一用滑环触点电连接的电源,滑环触点在电源与该电路之间确立电接触;滑环触点包括随锯片一起转动的第一组触点和静止不动的接触第一组触点的第二组触点。
6、按权利要求1所述的用在具有一心轴的锯的激光心轴,其特征在于,该电路进一步包括一在预定电压范围内向激光供电的电源调节电路。
7、按权利要求1所述的用在具有一心轴的锯的激光心轴,其特征在于,一固定护罩是该锯非转动部分的一部分。
8、一种锯,包括:
一有一心轴的电动机;
一装在心轴上、由电动机转动、从而切割一工件的锯片;
一有一壳体、装在心轴上与锯片一起转动的激光心轴;
位于该壳体中的一光源,该光源在锯片旁发出一窄光束,从而显示锯片是否与工件对准;以及
一与光源电连接、向光源供电的发电机,该发电机包括一与壳体相连、随壳体转动的转子和一装在壳体旁的定子,该转子由电动机相对定子转动,从而生成光源的电源。
9、按权利要求8所述的锯,其特征在于,该转子为一电线圈。
10、按权利要求9所述的锯,其特征在于,该定子为一电磁铁。
11、按权利要求9所述的锯,其特征在于,该定子为一永久磁铁。
12、按权利要求9所述的锯,其特征在于,该转子与一直接向光源供电的电源调节电路电连接。
13、按权利要求8所述的锯,其特征在于,该光源为一LED激光。
14、一种锯,包括:
一有一心轴的电动机;
一装在心轴上、由电动机转动、从而切割一工件的锯片;
一有一壳体、装在心轴上与锯片一起转动的激光心轴;
位于该壳体中的一光源,该光源在锯片旁发出一窄光束,从而显示锯片是否与工件对准;以及
一与光源电连接的感应耦合电源,其中,该电源包括与该壳体相连、随该壳体转动的第一感应线圈和装在该壳体旁的第二感应线圈,第二感应线圈在第一感应线圈中感应生成的电压向该光源供电。
15、按权利要求14所述的锯,其特征在于,该转子与一直接向光源供电的电源调节电路电连接。
16、按权利要求14所述的锯,其特征在于,该光源为一LED激光。
17、一种锯,包括:
一有一心轴的电动机;
一装在心轴上、由电动机转动、从而切割一工件的锯片;
一有一壳体、装在心轴上与锯片一起转动的激光心轴;
位于该壳体中的一光源,该光源在锯片旁发出一窄光束,从而显示锯片是否与工件对准;以及
一与该光源电连接、向该光源供电的发电机,该发电机包括一装在一固定护罩上的永久磁铁和一由心轴转动的线圈。
18、一种锯,包括:
一有一心轴的电动机;
一装在心轴上、由电动机转动、从而切割一工件的锯片;
一有一壳体、装在心轴上与锯片一起转动的激光心轴;
位于该壳体中的一光源,该光源在锯片旁发出一窄光束,从而显示锯片是否与工件对准;以及
一用多个滑环触点电连接的电源,这些滑环触点确立起与该光源的电接触,其中,这些滑环触点包括随锯片一起转动的一组转动触点和静止不动的装在该锯上、接触第一组触点的一组固定触点。
