Abstract

Description

技术领域
本发明涉及经网络配送数字化图像用的技术，特别是涉及用来防止、抑制已配送的图像数据的不正当使用的图像数据配送方法和系统以及在该系统中使用的图像数据。
背景技术
一般来说，由于可容易地复制经互联网等的网络配送的数字图像数据而不使图像质量恶化，故存在未经授权者擅自再次配送或复制等不正当使用的可能性。因此，迄今为止，例如如在特开平9-191394号公报中所记载的那样，开发了在所配送的图像数据中预先隐藏表示著作权或出处的信息的电子水印或数字水印这样的方法。
但是，在以这种方式只附加著作权者等的出处的电子水印中，即使在判明了不正当使用的情况下，也存在不能确定该数据何时、对哪个客户、根据哪个帐户配送了等的已流出的数据的配送途径的问题。因此，例如在特开2000-50047号公报等中，提出了预先在图像数据等中隐藏确定配送对方的信息的数据配送方法。但是，即使在该数据配送方法中，由于实际上没有包含表示由哪个用户使用的信息，故也存在不能可靠地确定数据的使用路径的可能性。
因此，本发明的目的在于提供下述一种图像数据配送方法和系统，其中，能更可靠地知道已被配送的图像数据的用户的实际的使用状况，由此，即使在不正当使用的情况下，也可容易地确定其流出路径，进而可有效地防止或抑制图像数据的不正当使用。
发明的公开
按照本发明，提供下述一种图像数据配送方法，其特征在于，包含下述过程：在从服务器一侧经网络朝向客户机一侧的图像数据的配送中，为了防止图像数据的不正当的使用，在客户机一侧，在存储器上展开了从服务器一侧配送的图像数据后，在已展开的图像数据中附加用户的安全数据。
由此，在实际上接受了图像数据的配送的客户机中，可在图像数据本身的内部附加作为用来防止不正当使用的用户或客户的识别数据的安全数据，即使在不正当地使用图像数据的情况下，也可容易地跟踪并确定其使用路径。因此，对于图像数据的不正当使用，与以往相比可发挥较强的心理的抑制效果。
在某个实施例中，通过还包含从客户机一侧对服务器一侧发送用户的安全数据的过程和在服务器一侧的存储器中保存安全数据的过程，在有图像的不正当使用的情况下，可将附加到图像数据中的安全数据与在服务器一侧保存的安全数据相对照，由此能更可靠地跟踪并确定图像数据的使用路径。
较为理想的是，可将安全数据作为电子水印附加到图像数据上。
更为理想的是，在存储器已展开的上述图像数据的各像素中选择处于不连续的位置上的多个像素，通过使已选择的上述像素的亮度增加或减少，可将安全数据附加到图像数据上。
此外，按照本发明，提供下述一种图像数据配送方法，其特征在于，包含：在从服务器一侧经网络朝向客户机一侧的图像数据的配送中为了防止图像数据的不正当的使用、在上述服务器一侧响应于来自客户机的要求、对上述客户机一侧指示进入进行图像数据配送的认证的安全控制器的过程；以及响应于来自上述客户机一侧的图像数据配送的认证要求、从上述安全控制器对上述客户机一侧发送打开图像数据用的电子密钥的过程。
这样，通过事前认证配送对方的目的地，可防止对未经授权的用户或客户配送图像数据。
在某个实施例中，通过还包含保存与客户机一侧的通信状况的过程，由于在图像数据的配送后可容易地在服务器一侧确认其配送目的地，故即使在有不正当使用的情况下，也可容易地跟踪、确定其使用路径。
在另一实施例中，较为理想的是，与配送图像数据的服务器分开地设置安全控制器，通过对客户机一侧给予其IP地址来指示对安全控制器的访问。
按照本发明的另一方面，提供一种记录媒体，该媒体在客户机一侧或服务器一侧存储了执行这些图像数据配送方法用的软件。

通过这样来构成，可事前认证配送对方的目的地，防止对未经授权的用户或客户配送图像数据，而且，由于在实际上接受了图像数据的配送的客户机中，可在图像数据本身的内部附加作为用来防止不正当使用的用户或客户的识别数据的安全数据，即使在不正当地使用图像数据的情况下，也可容易地跟踪并确定其使用路径。因而，与以往相比，能更可靠地防止图像数据的不正当使用，而且，对于不正当使用可发挥更强的心理的抑制效果。
在某个实施例中，通过还包含对服务器一侧发送上述安全数据的过程和在服务器一侧保存该安全数据的过程，在有图像的不正当使用的情况下，可将附加到图像数据中的安全数据与在服务器一侧保存的安全数据相对照，能更可靠地跟踪并确定图像数据的使用路径。
在另一实施例中，通过还具有在服务器一侧将与客户机一侧的通信状况保存在LOG(登录)文件中的过程，能更可靠地且容易地确定不正当使用的客户和用户。
此外，在某个实施例中，较为理想的是，与配送图像数据的服务器分开地设置安全控制器，通过对客户机一侧给予其IP地址来指示对安全控制器的访问。
在另一实施例中，从服务器一侧发送的图像数据已被压缩，可在客户机一侧对该图像数据进行了解压缩后，附加安全数据。
此外，较为理想的是，将安全数据作为电子水印附加到图像数据中。
在某个实施例中，在使用图像密钥已打开的图像数据的各像素中选择处于不连续的位置上的多个像素，通过使已选择的像素的亮度增加或减少，可将安全数据附加到图像数据中。
在安全数据中可包含图像数据的配送日时、用户ID、保存了图像数据的客户机的存储器的序列编号或客户机的IP地址，如果使用这些内容，可容易地确定图像数据配送后的使用经过。

客户机具有访问安全控制服务器并要求用户取得图像数据的认证的功能，
安全控制服务器具有响应于来自客户机的认证的要求、确认用户数据库并对用户给予认证、从图像密钥数据库发送所要求的图像数据的图像密钥的功能，
客户机还具有使用图像密钥打开已接受的图像数据、而且对图像数据附加用户的安全数据的功能。
通过这样来构成，可事前认证配送对方的目的地，防止对未经授权的用户或客户配送图像数据，而且，通过在接受了图像数据的配送的客户机中在图像数据本身的内部附加作为用户或客户的识别数据的安全数据，可容易地跟踪并确定图像数据的使用路径，可实现与以往相比能更可靠地防止图像数据的不正当使用而且可在心理方面进行抑制的图像数据的配送方法。
在某个实施例中，由于客户机还具有对安全控制服务器发送安全数据的功能，安全控制服务器还具有保存安全数据的功能，故可在其后将图像数据中的安全数据与在安全控制服务器中保存的安全数据相对照。
在另一实施例中，由于安全控制服务器具有保存与客户机的通信状况用的LOG文件，故可更准确地把握图像数据的配送状况。
较为理想的是，图像文件服务器通过给予安全控制服务器的IP地址来指示对其的进入。
在某个实施例中，从图像文件服务器发送的图像数据已被压缩，客户机对该已接受的图像数据进行解压缩，而且在其后附加安全数据。
较为理想的是，客户机具有将安全数据作为电子水印附加到图像数据中的功能。

图1概略地示出了作为本发明的图像配送系统的优选实施例的互联网上的系统结构。本实施例的图像配送系统由通过互联网1那样的网络环境可连接的多个客户机2、图像文件服务器3和安全控制服务器4构成。客户机2是具有在互联网1上使用WWW浏览器等对图像文件服务器3发送指定了所希望的图像的要求、从该服务器接受数字图像数据并播放图像的功能的计算机。
图像文件服务器3由在互联网上根据来自客户机2的要求发送图像数据的计算机构成，具有积累了图像文件的图像文件数据库5和保持与客户机2的通信状况的LOG文件6。再者，图像文件服务器3具有如果从客户机2有图像数据的要求、则响应于此、对客户机2发送安全控制服务器4的IP地址、指示访问安全控制服务器的功能和从图像文件数据库5对客户机发送所要求的图像数据的功能。
在本实施例中，在图像文件数据库5中积累了具有根据该各像素具有的信息的有效位数(例如亮度或亮度变化)进行了层次化而且再次构成了的数据结构且压缩了的层次化图像数据。例如可使用由本申请的发明者提出的国际申请号PCT/JP00/04472号公报中记载的图像压缩方法来生成这样的层次化图像文件。该层次化图像文件由各像素的位置信息和亮度信息构成，由于图像的品质、即解像度、尺寸根据其层次不同而不同，故客户机可指定图像的品质来要求图像数据。
安全控制服务器4具有积累了可利用图像文件数据库5的图像文件的用户的登录内容的用户数据库7、积累了为打开上述图像文件所必要的图像密钥的图像密钥数据库8和保持与客户机2的通信状况的LOG文件9。在本实施例的用户数据库7中，各用户及其识别数据被分类为几个组而登录，对各组赋予不同的权限，由此，例如可使用的图像的品质、即图像的解像度、尺寸等不同。
客户机2具有如果从图像文件服务器3接受安全控制服务器4的IP地址、则使用该IP地址访问安全控制服务器并对于图像数据的取得而要求其认证的功能。对于该认证要求，安全控制服务器4具有确认用户数据库7并对用户给予认证、从图像密钥数据库8对所要求的图像数据发送固有的图像密钥的功能。
客户机2还具有使用上述图像密钥、打开从图像文件服务器3接受了的图像数据并在存储器上展开、而且对该图像数据附加用户的安全数据的功能。在该安全数据中包含：图像数据的配送日时、用户ID、下载了图像数据的硬盘等的存储器的序列编号或客户机2的IP地址等在有不正当使用的情况下在跟踪其使用路径方面有用的客户或用户的识别数据。
其次，使用图2，说明本发明的图像配送方法的优选实施例。首先，在客户机2中，使通用或专用的WWW浏览器等的程序启动，经互联网1连接到图像文件服务器3上。如果客户机2发送指定了所希望的图像的文件名和品质(步骤S1)，则图像文件服务器3返回安全控制服务器4的IP地址(步骤S2)。客户机2使用该IP地址访问安全控制服务器4，关于图像数据的取得而要求认证(步骤S3)。该认证要求使用用户ID、客户机2的IP地址、客户机中作为固有的数据的硬盘装置的序列编号等。
安全控制服务器4参照用户数据库7，确认用户ID等的登录数据，给予认证(步骤S4)。然后，从图像密钥数据库8取得在所要求的图像数据中固有的图像密钥，发送给客户机2(步骤S5)，同时在LOG文件9中记录并保存这些通信状况(步骤S6)。另一方面，图像文件服务器3从图像文件数据库5取得所要求的图像数据，发送给客户机2(步骤S7)。图像文件服务器3也同样在LOG文件6中记录并保存与客户机2的通信状况。
客户机2使用从安全控制服务器4接受了的图像密钥，打开从图像文件服务器3接受了的图像数据并进行解压缩，作为构成图像的各点的像素数据的映像在存储器上展开(步骤S8)。然后，对安全数据进行编码并附加到已展开的图像数据中(步骤S9)。一般来说，使用被称为电子水印的方法来进行安全数据的附加。在本实施例中，在已展开的上述图像数据的各点中，选择处于不连续的位置上的多个像素，通过使已选择的像素的亮度增加或减少，可插入电子水印。所选择的上述像素的位置，可预先进行设定，或可根据图像的内容等来变更。
输出以这种方式附加了安全数据的图像数据(步骤S10)，在客户机的显示器上直接显示，或作为图像文件存储在硬盘等的存储器或其它的记录媒体中，或以在线方式传送，可以各种方式来利用。与此同时，客户机2将上述安全数据发送给安全控制服务器4(步骤S11)，安全控制服务器4将其记录、保存在LOG文件9中(步骤S12)。
由此，由于在安全控制服务器4中留下图像数据的配送记录，故即使以后在有不正当使用的情况下，利用与隐藏在图像数据本身中的安全数据的对照，可容易地确定其使用路径。此外，在本实施例中，由于分开地设置了图像文件服务器3和安全控制服务器4，故如果预先在网络上决定安全控制服务器4的地址，则即使根据需要在任意的地址中设定图像文件服务器3，即、即使在任意的服务器中设置图像文件数据库5，也能管理从客户机发送的安全数据。
在本发明的另一实施例中，可用1个服务器一体地构成图像文件服务器3和安全控制服务器4。此时，可省略对安全控制服务器4的进入和图像密钥的使用。即，客户机2最初对服务器要求图像配送的认证，在服务器响应于此参照用户数据库7给予了认证后，客户机2可要求图像的配送，使所要求的图像数据被发送。此时，在客户机打开图像数据并在存储器上展开了后，当然也与上述实施例同样地对图像数据附加安全数据，而且发送给服务器，服务器在LOG文件中保持该数据。
此外，在另一实施例中，可预先在从图像文件服务器3配送的图像数据中写入安全控制服务器4的IP地址。此时，如果从客户机2接受图像数据配送的要求，则图像文件服务器3发送所要求的图像数据。客户机2从已接受的图像数据中读取IP地址，访问安全控制服务器4，要求认证。如果安全控制服务器4进行了认证并发送图像密钥，则客户机2可使用该图像密钥打开图像数据。
以上，详细地说明了本发明的优选实施例，但如从业者所明白的那样，本发明在其技术的范围内可对上述实施例施加各种各样的变更或变形来实施。例如，对于上述的互联网以外的网络，也可同样地适用本发明。

Claims (24)

1.一种图像数据配送方法，其特征在于，包含下述过程：
在从服务器一侧经网络朝向客户机一侧的图像数据的配送中，为了防止图像数据的不正当的使用，在上述客户机一侧，在存储器上展开了从上述服务器一侧配送的图像数据后，在已展开的上述图像数据中附加用户的安全数据。
2.如权利要求1中所述的图像数据配送方法，其特征在于：
还包含从上述客户机一侧对上述服务器一侧发送上述用户的安全数据的过程和在上述服务器一侧的存储器中保存上述安全数据的过程。
3.如权利要求1或2中所述的图像数据配送方法，其特征在于：
将上述安全数据作为电子水印附加到上述图像数据上。
4.如权利要求1至3的任一项中所述的图像数据配送方法，其特征在于：
在存储器已展开的上述图像数据的各像素中选择处于不连续的位置上的多个像素，通过使已选择的上述像素的亮度增加或减少，将上述安全数据附加到上述图像数据上。
5.一种图像数据配送方法，其特征在于，包含：
在从服务器一侧经网络朝向客户机一侧的图像数据的配送中为了防止图像数据的不正当的使用、在上述服务器一侧响应于来自客户机的要求、对上述客户机一侧指示进入进行图像数据配送的认证的安全控制器的过程；以及
响应于来自上述客户机一侧的图像数据配送的认证要求、从上述安全控制器对上述客户机一侧发送打开图像数据用的电子密钥的过程。
6.如权利要求5中所述的图像数据配送方法，其特征在于：
还包含保存与上述客户机一侧的通信状况的过程。
7.如权利要求5或6中所述的图像数据配送方法，其特征在于：
通过给予上述安全控制器的IP地址来指示对上述安全控制器的访问。
8.一种记录媒体，其特征在于：
存储了执行权利要求1至3、5至7的任一项中所述的图像数据配送方法用的软件。
9.一种图像数据配送方法，该方法是从服务器对客户机配送图像数据的方法，其特征在于，由下述过程构成：
响应于来自客户机一侧的图像数据的要求、从服务器一侧对客户机一侧指示进入安全控制器的过程；
从上述客户机一侧进入上述安全控制器、要求图像数据配送的认证的过程；
从上述服务器一侧对上述客户机一侧发送与上述要求对应的图像数据的过程；
从上述服务器一侧对上述客户机一侧发送打开上述图像数据用的图像密钥的过程；
在上述客户机一侧使用上述图像密钥打开上述图像数据、在该图像数据中附加客户机的安全数据的过程；以及
输出附加了上述安全数据的图像数据的过程。
10.如权利要求9中所述的图像数据配送方法，其特征在于：
还包含对上述服务器一侧发送上述安全数据的过程和在上述服务器一侧保存该安全数据的过程。
11.如权利要求9或10中所述的图像数据配送方法，其特征在于：
还具有在上述服务器一侧将与上述客户机一侧的通信状况保存在LOG文件中的过程。
12.如权利要求9至11的任一项中所述的图像数据配送方法，其特征在于：
通过给予上述安全控制器的IP地址来指示对上述安全控制器的访问。
13.如权利要求9至12的任一项中所述的图像数据配送方法，其特征在于：
从上述服务器一侧发送的上述图像数据已被压缩，在上述客户机一侧对该图像数据进行了解压缩后，附加上述安全数据。
14.如权利要求9至13的任一项中所述的图像数据配送方法，其特征在于：
将上述安全数据作为电子水印附加到上述图像数据中。
15.如权利要求9至14的任一项中所述的图像数据配送方法，其特征在于：
在使用上述图像密钥已打开的上述图像数据的各像素中选择处于不连续的位置上的多个像素，通过使已选择的上述像素的亮度增加或减少，将上述安全数据附加到上述图像数据中。
16.如权利要求9至15的任一项中所述的图像数据配送方法，其特征在于：
在上述安全数据中包含上述图像数据的配送日时、用户ID、保存了上述图像数据的上述客户机的存储器的序列编号或上述客户机的IP地址。
17.一种图像数据配送系统，其特征在于，具备：
具有积累了图像文件的图像文件数据库的图像文件服务器；
具有积累了各用户的登录数据的用户数据库和打开上述各图像文件用的图像密钥的图像密钥数据库的安全控制服务器；
客户机；以及
连接上述图像文件服务器、上述安全控制服务器与上述客户机的网络，
上述图像文件服务器具有响应于来自上述客户机的图像数据的要求、对上述客户机指示进入上述安全控制服务器的功能和对上述客户机发送所要求的图像数据的功能，
上述客户机具有进入上述安全控制服务器并要求用户取得上述图像数据的认证的功能，
上述安全控制服务器具有响应于来自上述客户机的认证的要求、确认上述用户数据库并对上述用户给予认证、从上述图像密钥数据库发送上述所要求的图像数据的图像密钥的功能，
上述客户机还具有使用上述图像密钥打开已接受的上述图像数据、而且对上述图像数据附加上述用户的安全数据的功能。
18.如权利要求17中所述的图像数据配送系统，其特征在于：
上述客户机还具有对上述安全控制服务器发送上述安全数据的功能，上述安全控制服务器还具有保存上述安全数据的功能。
19.如权利要求17或18中所述的图像数据配送系统，其特征在于：
上述安全控制服务器具有保存与上述客户机的通信状况用的LOG文件。
20.如权利要求17至19的任一项中所述的图像数据配送系统，其特征在于：
上述图像文件服务器通过给予上述安全控制服务器的IP地址来指示对其的进入。
21.如权利要求17至20的任一项中所述的图像数据配送系统，其特征在于：
从上述图像文件服务器发送的上述图像数据已被压缩，上述客户机对该已接受的图像数据进行解压缩，而且在其后附加上述安全数据。
22.如权利要求17至21的任一项中所述的图像数据配送系统，其特征在于：
上述客户机具有将上述安全数据作为电子水印附加到上述图像数据中的功能。
23.如权利要求17至22的任一项中所述的图像数据配送系统，其特征在于：
在上述安全数据中包含上述图像数据的配送日时、用户ID、保存了上述图像数据的上述客户机的存储器的序列编号或上述客户机的IP地址。
24.一种图像数据，其特征在于：
由各点的像素数据的映像构成，对于其位置未连续的多个已选择的像素，通过使其亮度增加或减少来隐藏用户的信息。
