Abstract
本发明涉及一种用于复合材料的紧固件,其包括一杆状体,一设置在所述杆状体的第一端部的头部,一设置在所述杆状体的另一端部的尖端,所述杆状体上靠近尖端部处带有螺纹,且所述带有螺纹的部分的长度占杆状体总长度约一半,所述杆状体上靠近头部的第二部分不带有螺纹,且所述杆的第二部分带有多个间隔环,所述杆状体第一部分和第二部分之间带有凸边的部分,在螺纹部分可以使用不均匀或均匀的螺纹,或使用三个凸角的螺纹,本发明的紧固件可以牢固地紧固复合材料,而不会使紧固的复合材料呈现蘑菇状和裂痕现象。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于复合材料的紧固件,特别是涉及无需预先钻孔即可减少复合材料呈现蘑菇状和裂痕现象的紧固件,而充分地紧固住复合材料使其成为一层状材料。
背景技术
现代复合建筑材料主要是用木材和塑料的结合而制成的。复合材料可用于不同用途,例如房屋的外装饰。
当普通的螺钉用于这样的复合材料时,在螺钉被钻孔拧入该材料时,会使紧固的复合材料出现“呈蘑菇状”的现象,即在板表面留下一隆起部分。传统的螺钉也会使紧固的板的各个端部出现裂痕,为消除这一现象,需在紧固前,预先在材料上钻孔,然而,这样会增加劳动强度。因此,有必要使用一种能用于紧固复合材料,而同时又能减少复合材料隆起和裂痕现象的螺钉。
在众多应用中,复合材料被紧固成一底层为例如木材的复合材料。紧固件必须穿过该复合材料并牢固地紧固在底层上。
发明内容
因此,本发明的一目的是提供一种新型和改进的用于复合材料的紧固件。
本发明的另一目的是提供新型和改进的用于复合材料的紧固件,在该紧固件被钻入复合材料时,可以减少隆起现象。
本发明的另一个目的是提供一种新型和改进的用于复合材料的紧固件,其在使用时,无需预先钻孔即可减少复合材料上出现的裂痕。
本发明的另一个目的是提供一种新型和改进的紧固件,其可充分地紧固复合材料使其成为一层状材料。
根据本发明的一个方面,一种用于复合材料的紧固件,包括一杆状体,一位于该杆状体第一端部的头部,和一位于该杆状体另一端部的尖端,靠近该尖端的该杆状体的第一部分带有螺纹。该第一部分延伸的长度约为该杆状体总长度的一半。该杆状体的第二部分(靠近所述的头部)上没有螺纹,但具有多个间隔环。如果需要,可以在该第一部分和第二部分之间设置一带有凸边的部分。该具有螺纹的部分可设置成具有传统的均匀的或不均匀的螺纹,或者使用一全三凸角螺纹。

具体实施方式
如图1所示,一紧固件10具有一杆状体12和一位于该杆状体12一端的头部14。该杆状体12的另一端为一尖端16,例如约为一成30°角的尖端。
靠近所述尖端16的一第一部分18带有多个螺纹,而靠近所述头部14的一第二部分20上没有螺纹。三个环22、23、25以预定的间隔相互间隔开来,并设置在所述第二部分20上。依据被紧固的材料的种类,预计可增加到使用五个环。
如果需要,在所述第一部分18和第二部分20之间可设置一带有凸边的部分24。该凸边部分24通常具有多个与该杆状体的轴向平行的导向牙。
所述的头部14(图2)可接受任一适合的驱动,例如图2所示的驱动部位,其具有六个凸角27。该头部14的一内边缘26可包括一底切截槽28,其中该边缘置于所述头部14的相反位置,如图3所示。
所述的多个环通常设置在垂直于杆状体轴向的方向上,其可以具有朝向头部成500的斜面,且具有约0.03-0.02英寸的厚度。在图1中,所述多个环之间是不均等地相隔开。在每英寸具有12个螺纹,和约为2.5英寸的标称长度的一8号尺寸的螺钉中,环22可以位于从头部14的支承面33起算约0.560-0.540英寸的位置处。环23可以位于从支承面33起算约0.395-0.375英寸的位置处,环25可以位于从支承面33起算约0.17-0.15英寸的位置处。其它螺钉尺寸和长度可以根据所要紧固的材料而具有以相似方式间隔开的环。因此,如果杆状体从头部33至尖端16的总长度为TL,则环22可以设置在从头部内侧面起算约为0.23杆状体总长度TL的位置处,环23设置在从头部内侧面起算约为0.16杆状体总长度TL的位置处,环25设置在从头部内侧面起算约为0.07杆状体总长度TL的位置处。
在紧固件的部分18上的螺纹29可以是任何适用的螺纹设计,例如可以是图4中所示的这种设计,在该种设计中,螺纹中面对尖端16为一相对于垂直于杆状体轴向的线成30°的斜面,而螺纹中面对头部16为一相对于上述同一条线成15°的斜面。
在靠近尖端16处通常设置有17型的或类似的胫槽30,所述的胫槽30优选贯穿杆状体12和螺纹29的整个象限。
附图5-8示出了本发明的第二个实施例。紧固件50包括一杆状体52,一位于杆状体一端的头部54,和位于杆状体另一端的尖端56。杆状体上的第一部分58(靠近尖端56)带有螺纹,杆状上的第二部分60(靠近头部54)不带螺纹,但具有三个相同的环62、63和65。带螺纹部分58约占杆状体52总长度的一半。
头部54可以包括一任何适宜的驱动部位,例如,如图6中所示的正方形驱动部位。在该实施例中所述头部的内侧没有任何底切截槽,但是,如果需要也可以包括有底切截槽(undercut)。
如附图5和附图7中所示,17型的胫槽70或类似结构通常可以设置在靠近尖端56的位置处。在附图7中还示出了形成在三个径向凸角(radial lobes)64中的螺纹69,每个凸角围绕尖端56形成约为120°的突出部分。
如附图8所示,所述的螺纹69具有一个相对于垂直于杆状体轴向的线71成约15°的角。螺纹的另一面即面向头部的那一面与上述的线成5°角。
环62、63和65与实施例中所述的多个环相似,但是它们沿杆状体52具有相同的间隔距离。在每英寸具有12个螺纹,和约为2.5英寸的标称长度的-8号尺寸的螺钉中,环62位于从头部的支承面73起算约0.31-0.30英寸的位置处。环63可以位于从支承面73起算约0.21-0.20英寸的位置处,环65位于从支承面73起算约0.11-0.10英寸的位置处。按照实施例的方式,对于不同的螺钉尺寸和长度,可以具有按类似比例间隔的环。例如,如果杆状体从支承面73至尖端56的总长度为TL,则环62位于从支承面73起算约0.13TL的位置处。环63可以位于从支承面73起算约0.08TL的位置处,环65位于从支承面73起算约0.04TL的位置处。
在使用中,可以在不预先钻孔的情况下,将本发明的紧固件拧入各种不同密度的复合材料中并牢固地紧固所述的复合材料以其成为多层的复合材料,而不会使紧固的复合材料呈现蘑菇状和裂痕现象。
以上描述了与具体的装置和应用相关的本发明的原理,应该认识到所有的这些描述仅是用来举例说明,本发明的保护范围并不仅限于这些说明。
Claims (8)
1、一种用于复合材料的紧固件,包括:
一杆状体,
一设置在所述杆状体的第一端部的头部,和
一设置在所述杆状体的另一端部的尖端,
所述杆状体上靠近尖端部处带有螺纹,且所述带有螺纹的部分的长度占杆状体总长度约一半,
所述杆状体上靠近头部的第二部分不带有螺纹,且所述杆的第二部分带有多个间隔环。
2、如权利要求1所述的紧固件,其特征在于,其包括在所述杆状体第一部分和第二部分之间的带有凸边的部分。
3、如权利要求1所述的紧固件,其特征在于,所述的第一部分具有不均匀的螺纹。
4、如权利要求1所述的紧固件,其特征在于,所述的第一部分具有三个径向凸角。
5、如权利要求1所述的紧固件,其包括三个环,其中所述的三个环是彼此不均等地相隔开。
6、如权利要求1所述的紧固件,其特征在于,所述的杆状体具有的总长度TL为从所述头部内侧面至所述尖端部的长度,所述的紧固件包括三个环,所述环中的第一个环设置在从头部内侧面起算为0.23杆状体总长度TL的位置处,第二个环设置在从头部内侧面起算为0.16杆状体总长度TL的位置处,第三个环设置在从头部内侧面起算为0.07杆状体总长度TL的位置处。
7、如权利要求1所述的紧固件,其包括三个环,其中所述的三个环是彼此均等地相隔开。
8、如权利要求1所述的紧固件,其特征在于,所述的杆状体具有的总长度TL为从所述头部内侧面至所述尖端部的长度,所述紧固件包括三个所述的环,所述环中的第一个环设置在从头部内侧面起算为0.13杆状体总长度TL的位置处,第二个环设置在从头部内侧面起算为0.08杆状体总长度TL的位置处,第三个环设置在从头部内侧面起算为0.04杆状体总长度TL的位置处。
