When the clamping rods 42 abut against the end surface of the hot-rolled steel plate 14 and clamp it, the hydraulic rods 41 will no longer extend. The multiple clamping rods 42 will abut against different positions of the end surface of the hot-rolled steel plate 14. Since the end surface of the hot-rolled steel plate 14 is not flat, the front and rear directions of the clamping rods 42 are not on the same plane (as shown in Figure 8). Regardless of the shape of the end surface of the hot-rolled steel plate 14, the clamping rods 42 can be abutted against the end surface of the hot-rolled steel plate 14 by extending the hydraulic rod 41 to different lengths. The cooperation of the multiple clamping rods 42 completes the clamping and positioning of the hot-rolled steel plate 14 in both left and right directions.
