Preferably, the sieve is made in one piece with the cover by integral injection moulding.
Preferably, the cover is made of plastic and the screen is made of metal.
The above embodiments may be combined in any combination as the technical conditions allow.
The present invention also aims to provide a laundry machine that can reduce lint entering an air passage.
A laundry treating machine with a drying function comprising a tub of any of the various embodiments described above, an air driving device operable to drive air from within the tub through the filter screen and into an air passage downstream of the filter screen.
The laundry machine comprises a drum located in a tub, and a controller configured to operate a drying program in which the air driving device is turned on, and a washing program in which air passes through the filter screen from the tub and enters the air passage, and in which washing liquid enters the tub and passes through at least a part of the filter screen, the drum is driven to rotate to cause washing liquid to wash the filter screen.
According to the drum and the clothes treating machine, the filter screen of the drum can intercept most of flocks in drying air, and the flock accumulation at the downstream of the filter screen is reduced, so that the clothes treating machine can maintain a stable drying effect. Further advantages include washing water flushing lint on the filter screen and draining it out of the machine when the filter screen is positioned such that at least part of the filter screen is below the water level in the tub during washing. Thus, not only can the filter screen be automatically cleaned, but also the batting can be automatically discharged. The filter screen is formed on the bucket through the integration injection molding, compares with conventional mechanical connection, not only reduces the installation link, and the edge is more clean and tidier moreover, avoids batting and dirt to detain on mechanical mounting structure, causes the secondary pollution of clothing. The adoption of the metal filter screen can lead the mesh to be finer, catch more finer flocks, and simultaneously, the combination of the metal filter screen and the plastic barrel is more compact and stable due to the high temperature in the drying process. In embodiments where the tub includes a cover forming part of the air passage, the screen is provided on the cover, making the integration of the screen with the tub more skillful and easy.

[ description of the drawings ]
FIG. 1 is a schematic view of a laundry treating machine;
FIG. 2 is an internal structural view of the tub when not covered;
FIG. 3 is an internal structural view of the tub after the cover is mounted;
fig. 4 is a partial block diagram of a position covered with a screen.
[ detailed description ] of the invention
As shown in fig. 1, the laundry machine 1 includes a tub 2 and a rotatable drum 3 located in the tub 2. In which an air passage 23 is formed in the tub 2. The inlet end 23a of the air passage 23 is located in the space defined by the tub 2 to face the drum 3. The outlet end 23b of the air passage 23 is connected to the fan 4. Downstream of the fan 4 is connected an air heating channel 5. The end of the air heating passage 5 is again communicated with the inner space of the tub 2. A heat exchange medium, such as the cooling water device 6 shown in fig. 1, is provided in the air passage 23 in the tub 2. Then, during the operation of the drying program of the laundry machine 1, the process air is cooled down as it passes through the air passage 23 from the tub 2, and the moisture therein is condensed. The process air then enters the air heating passage 5 by the fan 4, where the temperature rises, and then reenters the tub 2 to contact the laundry inside the drum to evaporate the moisture in the laundry.
The laundry machine 1 includes a controller 10. The controller 10 is configured to alternatively or sequentially operate the washing program and the drying program.
The air passage 23 may be formed in the rear wall 22 of the tub 2 as shown in fig. 1 to 3, or may be formed in the peripheral wall 21 of the tub 2 in other embodiments.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 1-3, the rear wall 22 of the tub 2 has grooves 24 therein which settle from the inside to the outside. The recess 24 forms an outlet 240 in the rear wall 22. The outlet 240 is proximate to the fan 4 and is in fluid communication with the fan 4.
The cover 8 formed separately from the rear tub 22 covers the groove 24 from the inside of the rear wall 22 and is fixedly coupled with the rear wall 22, thereby forming an air passage 23 between the cover 8 and the groove 24. The cover 8 has a first side 81 facing the air passage 23 and a second side 82 opposite the first side 81 so as to face the drum 3. The air passage 23 has an inlet end 23a and an outlet end 23b along the circulation direction of air. An opening 9 for the passage of air from inside the tub 2 is located on the side of the cover 8 near the inlet end 23 a. The outlet end 23b of the air channel 23 is adjacent to the outlet 240 of the recess 24.
In other embodiments, grooves may also be formed in the peripheral wall 21, and air passages formed with the cover may then also be formed in the peripheral wall 21.
In other embodiments, the opening 9 through which the air passes from inside the tub 2 may be located directly on the peripheral wall 21 or the rear wall 22 of the tub 2, with the heat exchange channel or the exhaust channel being connected downstream of the opening 9.
A screen 11 is provided on the opening 9 to allow air in the tub 2 to flow out through the screen 11. In particular, in the present embodiment, when the laundry machine 1 operates the drying program, the air of the second side 82 of the cover 8 may pass through the filter screen 11 and enter the air passage 23 by the driving of the fan 4, and then leave the tub 2.
Preferably, the sieve is independent with respect to the part of the tub 2 forming the opening 9, and the edge of the sieve 11 is embedded in the part of the tub 2 forming the opening 9. In the embodiment shown in fig. 1-3, the part of the tub 2 forming the opening 9 is the lid 8. In other embodiments, the part of the tub 2 forming the opening 9 may also be the peripheral wall or the rear wall of the tub.
Preferably, the sieve 11 is made in one piece with the part of the tub 2 forming the opening 9 by integral injection moulding. For example, the screen 11 may be made of metal in advance, and then the screen 11 is integrated with the tub 2 by integral injection molding. The part of the tub 3 in which the opening 9 is formed is made of plastic.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 1-3, the cover 8 comprises a frame portion 80 surrounding the edge of the screen 11. The screen 11 is made of metal and its edges are embedded in the frame portion 80 by integral injection molding. The frame portion 80 is fixedly coupled with the rear wall 22 of the tub 2.
Between the frame portion 80 and the rear wall 22, washing liquid entering the air passage 23 or cooling water or condensed water flowing down in the air passage 23 may remain. To drain these liquids, a channel 30 is formed in the frame portion 80 or between the frame portion 80 and the rear wall 22 to avoid secondary contamination of the clothing. A channel 30 is located below the sieve 11 for draining the liquid in the air channel 23. In the embodiment shown in fig. 4, the frame portion 80 includes a weld bead 83 protruding toward the rear wall 22. The weld bead 83 has notches 84. Thus, after the welding rib 83 is welded to the rear wall 22, the channel 30 is formed between the notch 84 and the rear wall 22 so that the liquid flows from the air channel 23 into the bottom of the tub 2 and is discharged.
Preferably, the position of the sieve 11 is set to: in the lower part of the tub 2, and when the laundry machine 1 operates a washing program, the water level inside the tub 2 is higher than at least part of the sieve 11. Wherein the "lower portion" is lower with respect to the direction of gravity and is for example located below the centre line of the tub 2. Thus, during the washing process, the drum 3 rotates, driving the water flow in the tub 2 to move vigorously, flushing the filter screen 11. The flock on the screen 11 is washed to be mixed with the washing water, and finally discharged out of the tub 2. Thus allowing the screen 11 to be cleaned following the washing process.
The various embodiments described above and shown in the figures are only illustrative of the invention. Any modification of the present invention by one of ordinary skill in the related art is within the scope of the basic technical idea of the present invention.
