Abstract
The invention belongs to the field of processing of modified engineering plastics, and relates to a high-weather-resistance high-blackness PC/ASA alloy for automobile exterior trimming parts and a preparation method thereof, wherein the PC/ASA alloy comprises the following materials in proportion: PC: 25-65 parts, ASA: 30-70 parts of a compatilizer: 1.0-2.0 parts of light stabilizer: 0.2-1.0 part of antioxidant: 0.2-1.0 part, black master batch: 1.0 to 3.0 portions. Wherein the compatilizer is an epoxy compatilizer. The PC/ASA plastic alloy obtained by the formula and the preparation method provided by the invention not only improves the weather resistance and the fluidity of PC so as to facilitate injection molding, but also improves the heat resistance and the impact property of ASA and reduces the production cost of materials. The alloy has excellent comprehensive performance, has wider application in the field of automobile internal and external ornaments, and can be directly used for producing the shell of the shark fin-shaped antenna of an automobile.
Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of modified engineering plastics, and particularly relates to a high-weather-resistance PC/ASA alloy for automobile exterior decoration and a preparation method thereof.
Background
Polycarbonate (PC) is a linear polycarbonate, is an engineering plastic with excellent performance, has high tensile strength, high impact strength, high temperature resistance, excellent transparency and good flame retardant property, and is widely applied to the fields of automobiles, machinery, electronic and electric appliances, decoration, daily necessities and the like; but the fluidity is poor, the injection molding processing is not facilitated, and the defects of easy generation of internal stress cracking, poor weather resistance and the like are also existed.
Acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate (ASA) does not contain unsaturated double bonds, can resist aging, degradation and fading caused by ultraviolet irradiation, improves the weather resistance and the aging resistance of the material, and is widely applied to the fields of automobile interior and exterior parts, household appliances, buildings and the like. But the impact resistance is poor and the heat resistance is poor.
The PC/ASA alloy developed aiming at the advantages and the disadvantages of the PC/ASA alloy can obviously improve the weather resistance of the PC, so that the PC is easier to perform injection molding and more resistant to stress cracking, meanwhile, the heat resistance and the shock resistance of the ASA are obviously improved, the alloy has excellent comprehensive performance, has wider application in the field of internal and external decorative parts of automobiles, and can be directly used for producing shells of shark fin-type antennas.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention provides a high weather-resistant PC/ASA alloy for automotive exterior and a preparation method thereof, aiming at solving the problems of poor fluidity and weather resistance of PC resin, low ASA impact strength, poor heat resistance and poor compatibility when PC/ASA is blended.
Aiming at the existing problems, the invention provides a high weather-resistant PC/ASA alloy for automotive exterior decoration, which is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: PC: 25-65 parts of ASA: 30-70 parts of a compatilizer: 1.0-2.0 parts of light stabilizer: 0.2-1.0 part of antioxidant: 0.2-1.0 part, black master batch: 1.0 to 3.0 portions.
PC and ASA are only partially compatible, so the compatibilizer has an important influence on the performance of the blended alloy. The epoxy compatilizer can perform the functions of end capping, chain extension and the like on polyester through an epoxy group, improve the thermal stability and the hydrolytic stability of the polyester alloy, simultaneously react with the active group at the chain end of the polyester molecule, improve the phase state of the alloy through reactive compatibilization, and improve the mechanical property of the material.
Meanwhile, the invention provides a preparation method of the high weather-resistant PC/ASA alloy for automobile exterior decoration, which comprises the following steps: a, drying raw materials PC and ASA;
b. setting the heating value of each section of the double-screw extruder, and heating to raise the temperature;
c. weighing various materials according to the proportion of the formula, and adding the materials into a vertical stirrer for uniformly mixing;
d. adding the uniformly mixed materials into a hopper of an extruder;
e. starting the main machine and the feeding machine after the temperature value of each section of the extruder reaches the standard, and performing melt extrusion;
f. and (3) carrying out water cooling, bracing, air drying and grain cutting on the extruded strips to obtain the required PC/ASA plastic alloy.
g. The drying treatment in the further step a is as follows: drying at 100-120 deg.C for 4-6 hr until the water content is below 80 ppm.
h. The double-screw extruder in the step b is as follows: the length-diameter ratio of the in-phase parallel double-screw extruder is as follows: 40:1. The heating value is as follows: the temperature of the first area is 240 ℃, the temperature of the second area is 250 ℃ to the fourth area, the temperature of the fifth area is 255 ℃ to the ninth area, the temperature of the machine head is less than or equal to 260 ℃, and the rotating speed is 300RPM.
i. The mixing time of the neutral mixer in step c was 5min.
The invention provides a high weather-resistant PC/ASA alloy for automobile exterior trimming and a preparation method thereof, which comprises the following steps:
(1) Part of ASA is added into PC, and the obtained PC/ASA alloy has high fluidity;
(2) The selected compatilizer enables ASA to be uniformly dispersed in PC, and the compatibility of PC and ASA is improved, so that the aim of improving the fluidity of PC is fulfilled;
(3) According to the formula and the preparation method of the invention, the PC/ASA alloy improves the weather resistance of the material;
(4) The raw material cost of ASA is much cheaper than that of PC, and the PC/ASA alloy manufactured by the invention can reduce the production cost and is suitable for industrial production.
Detailed Description
In order to make the technical solution and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the following detailed description of the preferred embodiments of the present invention will be given in conjunction with the test data of the sample for the convenience of the skilled person.
Example 1
The invention relates to a PC and ASA alloy, which comprises the following components in parts by weight:
the PC is SC-1100R produced by Happy sky of Korea;
the ASA is PW-957 of Chimei industry of Taiwan;
the compatilizer is an epoxy compatilizer;
the light stabilizer is a compound assistant of a benzotriazole light stabilizer and a hindered amine light stabilizer;
the antioxidant is a hindered phenol and phosphite ester compound auxiliary agent;
the preparation method of the PC/ASA blend comprises the following steps:
placing PC and ASA into a forced air drier for drying at 100-120 ℃ for 4-6h until the water content is below 80 ppm; mixing the dried PC and ASA with the compatilizer, the light stabilizer and the antioxidant in a high-speed mixer, and stirring for 5min at normal temperature;
melt extrusion: and heating, extruding and melting the mixed materials in nine zones of a screw, wherein the heating temperature of each zone of the screw is 240 ℃ in the first zone, 250 ℃ in the second zone to the fourth zone, 255 ℃ in the fifth zone to the ninth zone, the temperature of a machine head is less than or equal to 260 ℃, and the rotating speed is 300RPM.
Traction granulation: the raw materials are drawn into strips after being melted and extruded, dried by a blower after being cooled by cooling water, and finally made into finished product particles by a granulator.

The composites prepared in examples 1-3 and comparative example were subjected to physical mechanical property testing, and the experimental data are shown in table 1.

Melt index testing was performed according to ISO1133-2011, particles, 260 ℃ x 5kg; tensile strength tests were performed according to ISO 527-2012; the flexural strength test was carried out according to ISO 178-2019; the impact strength test was performed according to ISO 179-2010; the heat distortion temperature test is carried out according to ISO 75-2013; the weathering resistance was measured according to SAE J2527 method with an irradiation energy of 2500kJ/m 2 The color difference Δ E is measured.
The test results of comparative examples 1, 2 and 3 show that the tensile strength, flexural strength, impact strength and heat distortion temperature of the material are obviously improved with the increase of the PC content, and the flowability and weather resistance of the material are obviously improved with the increase of the ASA content, and the addition of the light stabilizer has no obvious influence on the mechanical properties of the material but can obviously enhance the weather resistance of the material by comparing example 3 with the comparative example. Therefore, the PC/ASA alloy prepared by the invention has good fluidity, easy injection molding, good tensile strength, bending strength and impact resistance, higher thermal deformation temperature, good weather resistance, simple preparation process and suitability for industrial production.

Claims (9)
1. A high weather-resistant PC/ASA alloy for automotive exterior and a preparation method thereof are characterized by comprising the following components in parts by weight: PC: 25-65 parts, ASA: 30-70 parts of a compatilizer: 1.0-2.0 parts of light stabilizer: 0.2-1.0 part of antioxidant: 0.2-1.0 part, black master batch: 1.0 to 3.0 portions.
2. The high weather-resistant PC/ASA alloy for the exterior trimming of automobiles and the preparation method thereof as claimed in claim 1, wherein: the flow rate of the PC melt is 10-20g/10min under the condition of 300 ℃ and 1.2 kg;
the high weather-resistant PC/ASA alloy for the exterior trimming of automobiles and the preparation method thereof as claimed in claim 1, wherein: the ASA melt flow rate is 20-30g/10min under the condition of 220 ℃ by 10 kg;
the high weather-resistant PC/ASA alloy for the exterior trimming of automobiles and the preparation method thereof as claimed in claim 1, wherein: the epoxy compatilizer can perform the functions of end capping, chain extension and the like on polyester through an epoxy group, improve the thermal stability and the hydrolytic stability of the polyester alloy, simultaneously react with an active group at the chain end of a polyester molecule, improve the phase state of the alloy through reactive compatibilization, and improve the mechanical property of the material.
3. The high weather-resistant PC/ASA alloy for the exterior trimming of automobiles and the preparation method thereof as claimed in claim 1, wherein: the light stabilizer is a compounding aid of a benzotriazole light stabilizer and a hindered amine light stabilizer.
4. The high weather-resistant PC/ASA alloy for the automotive exterior and the preparation method thereof as claimed in claim 1, wherein the PC/ASA alloy is characterized in that: the antioxidant is a hindered phenol and phosphite ester compound assistant.
