When the width of the plate is not changed and the length of the plate is more than twice of the width of the movable seat 10, the hand pulls the stop block 35 to move towards the direction of the adjusting groove 18, so that the stop block 35 moves out of the stop groove 361; the stop block 35 is rotated, the stop block 35 drives the rotating shaft 32 to rotate, the rotating shaft 32 drives the first gear 43 to rotate, the first gear 43 is meshed with the first rack 42 to drive the first rack 42 to move, the first rack 42 drives the side plate 41 to move towards the side groove 40, and the supporting block 411 also moves towards the side groove 40; the stop block 35 continues to rotate, so that the side plate 41 carries the protruding part 4111 of the supporting block 411 out of the side groove 40; the stop block 35 continues to rotate, so that the side plate 41 carries the supporting block 411 to continue moving out of the side slot 40.
During the movement of the side plate 41, the side plate 41 drives the second rack 50 to move synchronously; after the protruding portion 4111 of the supporting block 411 moves out of the side groove 40, the side plate 41 continues to move, so that the side plate 41 drives the second rack 50 to engage with the second gear 53, the second gear 53 drives the first adjusting shaft to rotate, the first adjusting shaft drives the first bevel gear 52 to rotate, the first bevel gear 52 engages with the second bevel gear 54 to drive the second adjusting shaft to rotate, the second adjusting shaft drives the third gear 55 to rotate, the third gear 55 engages with the third rack 51 to drive the third rack 51 to move upwards, so that the third rack 51 presses the supporting block 411 to move upwards, and the third spring 412 stretches; when the surface of the protruding portion 4111 of the supporting block 411 is flush with the surface of the movable seat 10, the stop block 35 stops rotating, and at this time, the first wedge 33 and the third wedge 56 both rotate to the same side as the first wedge surface, the first wedge 33 is located on the motion track of the first wedge surface, and the position of the first wedge 33 is convenient to determine by observing the third wedge 56; and then the stop block 35 is pulled reversely to move towards the direction of the stop groove 361, so that the stop block 35 slides into the stop groove 361, thereby positioning the stop block 35 and further positioning the rotating shaft 32 and the first wedge 33.
After the adjustment is completed, the plates are placed on the movable seat 10 and the supporting block 411, so that the plates are simultaneously located between the two clamping plates 111, between the two extending blocks 30 and between the two second wedges 413, and the portion of the plates, which exceeds the surface of the movable seat 10, can be supported by the protruding portion 4111 of the supporting block 411, thereby improving the stability of supporting the plates.
