A siphon for closing a steam condensate drain in a cylinder according to claim 1 or 6, characterised in that: the diameter of the round openings at the two ends of the universal ball head connecting hard tube (5) is respectively smaller than the diameter of the ports of the universal ball head sealing sleeve (3) and the upper universal ball head sealing sleeve (8) and ranges from 2 mm to 3mm, and the diameter of the round opening of the lower hard tube (13) is smaller than the diameter of the port of the lower universal ball head sealing sleeve (11) and ranges from 2 mm to 3mm.

A siphon for closing an in-cylinder steam condensate drain as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that: the O-shaped sealing ring (6) and the universal ball head sealing sleeve (3) are in interference fit, the upper O-shaped sealing ring (9) and the upper universal ball head sealing sleeve (8) are in interference fit, and the lower O-shaped sealing ring (14) and the lower universal ball head sealing sleeve (11) are in interference fit.
10. A siphon for closing a steam condensate drain in a cylinder according to claim 1, characterised in that: the O-shaped sealing ring (6) is in clearance fit with the surface of the upper universal ball head (4), the O-shaped sealing ring (9) is in clearance fit with the surface of the lower universal ball head (7), and the O-shaped sealing ring (14) is in clearance fit with the universal ball head (12).
