Fig. 2 is only a basic flow of the present disclosure, and the following further explains a scheme provided by the present disclosure, where the terminal is the terminal 110, and the server is the server 120. Fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a content presentation method according to an exemplary embodiment, which is performed by a terminal, as shown in fig. 3, and includes the steps of:
in step 301, the terminal acquires a target content data stream.
Wherein the definition of the target content data stream refers to step 201.
In some embodiments, the terminal sends a content acquisition request to the server to acquire the target content data stream from the server. Illustratively, the terminal runs a short video application program, and the terminal responds to the opening of the short video application program by a user and sends a short video acquisition request to the server; and the server returns audio and video data streams for displaying the short video in the video recommendation page to the terminal according to the short video acquisition request.
In step 302, the terminal presents the first content on a play page based on the target content data stream.
This step refers to step 201.
In some embodiments, the terminal loads the first content based on the target content data stream. Wherein the process of loading the first content comprises: based on the target content data stream, the first content is stored in a local buffer area in the form of cache data. Based on this, the terminal reads the cache data corresponding to the first content from the buffer area, and parses the cache data based on the data format corresponding to the cache data, so as to display the first content in the playing page. In some embodiments, the first content is Video, and the data format is a Video format, such as Audio Video Interleaved (AVI) and multimedia Variable Bit Rate (RMVB). In other embodiments, the first content is an atlas, and the data format is an image format, such as Moving Pictures Experts Group (MPEG) and Multi-Protocol Encapsulation (MPE). The processor of the terminal can directly read data from the cache region at high speed, so that the loading time consumed in the content display process is reduced.
In step 303, the terminal presents the second content in the play page based on the target content data stream in response to a refresh operation in the play page.
This step refers to step 202.
For ease of understanding, the embodiment of the present disclosure provides a schematic diagram of a playing page refreshing process, see fig. 4. As shown in fig. 4 (a), the first content is being presented in the playing page 400, and the bottom tab column 410 of the playing page 400 includes four page tabs: page tag "home", page tag "pick", page tag "message", and page tag "me"; the page tag 'selection' is in a selected state, and indicates that the content currently displayed on the playing interface belongs to a 'selection' type; as shown in fig. 4 (b), in response to the click operation on the page tag "pick", the upper right corner of the playing page 400 shows a refresh indicator 420, and the refresh indicator 420 indicates that refreshing is being performed to show the second content on the playing page 400; as shown in fig. 4 (c), the second content is being presented in the play page 400.
In step 304, the terminal presents prompt information in the playing page, the prompt information indicates to return to the presenting operation, and step 305 and step 307 are executed.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, by displaying the prompt information in the playing page, it is indicated that the second content currently displayed can be returned to the previous content through the return displaying operation, that is, the first content displayed before the refreshing operation occurs.
In some embodiments, the terminal presents the prompt information in the playing page in the form of a content prompt list, where the content prompt list indicates a plurality of contents that have been presented in the playing page within a preset time period, that is, the plurality of contents are contents that have been presented within a preset time period before the refresh operation occurs. In this example, the return presentation operation is a selection operation of the first content in the content hint list. In some embodiments, the content hint list indicates the plurality of content presented above by presenting content titles. In such an example, the content title of the first content may be highlighted to indicate that the first content is the last presented content. In some embodiments, the terminal can return any presented content in the content prompt list in response to selecting the selected content, and the present disclosure does not limit the functionality of the content prompt list. Based on the method, the selectable space of the user is expanded according to the content which can be returned within a longer time range and provided for the user, and therefore the user experience is effectively improved.
In other embodiments, the terminal presents the prompt in the play page in the form of a return presentation control. In such an example, the return presentation operation comprises a trigger operation on the return presentation control. Based on the method, the function of returning the content can be provided for the user in a control interaction mode, and the human-computer interaction experience in the content display process is improved.
In other embodiments, the remaining display duration of the return display control in the playing interface is displayed in the return display control. The total display duration of the returned display control may be set by the user, or may be calculated by the terminal based on the historical decision duration of the user, for example, based on the usage record of the user for other function controls, the average duration from the start of displaying the function control to the operation of the user is counted. Based on the method, the remaining time for the user to continue to make decisions can be indicated, the user is prevented from missing the opportunity of returning the content, the returning display control can be folded at a proper time point, and the overall effect of content display is not influenced.
It should be noted that the usage records of the other function controls by the user are obtained or stored under the condition of sufficient authorization of the user.
In some embodiments, the prompt message is displayed in a target area in the playing page, where the target area is an area that is not used for displaying content in the playing interface, so that the user is prompted to return to the last displayed content without blocking content display, thereby ensuring normal display of the content.
In some embodiments, the terminal presents the prompt in the form of a dynamic effect. Illustratively, the terminal indicates, in the playing page, the action direction of the return presentation operation in a dynamic effect, and indicates, in a text content, that the second content currently presented can be returned to the previous content through the return presentation operation, that is, the first content presented before the refresh operation occurs. Based on this, the returning display operation can be indicated by combining the text description and the dynamic effect, the guiding strength and the interesting degree of the prompt message are increased, and the user experience is further improved.
To facilitate understanding of the above process of presenting the prompt message, the embodiment of the present disclosure provides a schematic diagram of the prompt message, see fig. 5. As shown in fig. 5 (a), the second content is being presented in the playing interface, and in a background area which is not used for presenting the second content at the upper right of the playing interface, a content prompt list 510 is presented, the content prompt list includes a plurality of content titles, wherein a content title a corresponding to the first content is highlighted; as shown in fig. 5 (b), a second content is being presented in the playing interface, and in a background area which is not used for presenting the second content at the upper right of the playing interface, a return presentation control 520 is presented, in which the indicative characters "go back to last video" and a remaining presentation time length "5 s" (5 seconds) are presented; as shown in fig. 5 (c), the second content is being presented in the playing interface, and in the background area at the upper right of the playing interface not used for presenting the second content, a prompt message 530 is presented, where the prompt message 530 includes text "pull-down back to last video" indicating a return presentation operation and a dynamic arrow indicating that the action direction of the return presentation operation is downward.
In step 305, in response to the return presentation operation in the playing page, the terminal obtains the cache data corresponding to the first content.
Wherein the definition of the cache data refers to step 203.
In some embodiments, the terminal reads the cache data corresponding to the first content from the buffer area in response to the return presentation operation. In some embodiments, the buffer area is a memory space occupied by an application program corresponding to the playing page, the cache data corresponding to the first content is stored in a designated directory in the memory space according to a designated storage path, and the terminal responds to the return presentation operation and obtains the cache data from the designated directory according to the designated storage path. Based on this, the stored cache data is directly read to show the content, and the first content can be timely and quickly returned.
In some embodiments, the buffered content and the uncached content are stored in different directories in the buffer area of the terminal based on different storage paths, for example, the buffered content is stored in a media (media) directory, and the uncached content is stored in a temporary storage (temp) directory. Therefore, cache data corresponding to contents in different cache states can be efficiently managed.
In step 306, the terminal displays the first content in the playing page based on the cache data corresponding to the first content.
The present step principle refers to step 302.
In some embodiments, the terminal may be capable of determining whether the first content is completely cached based on a directory in which the cache data is located, for example, if the cache data corresponding to the first content is stored in the media directory, the first content is completely cached; and if the cache data corresponding to the first content is stored in the temp directory, the first content is not cached completely.
In some embodiments, in a case that the first content caching is completed, the terminal displays the first content in the playing page based on the caching data corresponding to the first content and the historical display progress of the first content. In some embodiments, the historical presentation progress includes a presentation progress when the first content was last presented, that is, a progress of presenting the first content before the refresh operation occurred. The history display progress is a video playing progress under the condition that the first content is a video, and the history display progress comprises a playing progress of audio in a sound atlas and a switching progress of pictures in the sound atlas under the condition that the first content is the sound atlas. Based on this, can directly return to the position that first content has been demonstrated to when returning a content fast, seamless joint goes up user's browsing progress at that time, need not user's manual adjustment, has effectively promoted human-computer interaction efficiency.
In other embodiments, in a case that the first content is not cached completely, the terminal continues to load the first content based on the caching progress of the first content; and displaying the first content from the beginning in the playing page based on the cache data corresponding to the first content. In such an example, since the first content has been cached in a part, the terminal reads the cached size of the cached data, and the remaining part can be loaded from the cached location according to a field indicating the full size of the first content, for example, a range field. Based on the method, the terminal can directly start to display the first content based on the cached cache data without waiting for the completion of content caching, and load the rest content, so that the fast and smooth content browsing experience is provided in a 'playing while playing' mode, and the human-computer interaction efficiency is further improved.
In step 307, in response to the return presentation operation in the playing page, the terminal updates the object data corresponding to the return presentation operation based on the content type of the first content to obtain a content data stream matching the content type preferred by the object of the return presentation operation, where the object data indicates the content type preferred by the object.
In some embodiments, the content type indicates a domain to which the content relates, e.g., a cultural knowledge class, a lifestyle skill class, or a travel class; in other embodiments, the content type indicates an authoring form of the content, such as a live action class, an animation class, and a clip authoring class, or a composite authoring class that includes animation and live action.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the return presentation operation indicates a preference for the first content, and therefore, the content type of the first content is the content type preferred by the object. It will be appreciated that the return to show operation will be triggered after the refresh operation is triggered, due to the preference for the first content. In the example where the terminal runs an application that presents content, the object is also the user of the application.
In some embodiments, the object data is updated by adding the content type of the first content to the object data of the object. Based on this, the terminal can synchronize the updated object data to the server, so that the server determines the content data stream based on the updated object data, and further, the terminal can display the content based on the content data stream. In some embodiments, the content data stream is determined based on a plurality of third contents whose content tags match the content type included in the object data to satisfy a target condition. Next, a process of determining the content data stream by the server is described, which includes the following steps 1 and 2:
in step 1, the server determines a plurality of third contents based on the content type included in the object data, and the matching degree of the content tags of the plurality of third contents and the content type is ordered to be positioned at the front target position.
In some embodiments, the server can search for content in a specified domain classification based on the content type, so as to further compare content tags of a plurality of contents to be selected with the content type of the first content under the domain classification to determine the third content with the matching degree ordering at the top target position. In some embodiments, the third contents are sorted based on the matching degree, that is, the third contents are presented in the terminal in the order.
In step 2, the server acquires the plurality of third contents based on the content links of the plurality of third contents, encodes the plurality of third contents, and generates the content data stream.
In some embodiments, the content database of the server stores original files corresponding to a plurality of contents, and the content link is a storage address of the original file in the content database. After determining the plurality of third contents, the server acquires an original file of the third contents based on the content links of the third contents, and encodes and compresses the original file of the third contents to generate the content data stream.
In some embodiments, this step is performed after step 306, so as to obtain richer information to update the object data according to the interactive operation on the first content, for example, the collecting operation and the commenting operation on the first content. In some embodiments, the content type of the first content is set to have a higher priority in the object data than the content types that are not already collected, according to the collection operation for the first content.
