The method for adjusting the height of the turning tool has two main problems: firstly, a set of multiple gaskets with different heights are required to be prepared, one gasket is selected in a trial mode to be placed below the turning tool according to visual measurement results, if the height of the tool nose is still different from the height of the rotation axis of the workpiece to be machined, the turning tool and the gasket selected in the trial mode need to be taken down, the other gasket with the thickness different from that of the gasket selected in the trial mode needs to be replaced, and the operation process is very complicated; secondly, the quantity of the gaskets is limited, and a fixed thickness difference exists between the two adjacent gaskets with the thickness values, so that the height of the turning tool cannot be continuously and accurately adjusted.

When the turning tool is used, the turning tool is placed on the lifting plate 6, the driving bolt 2 is rotated anticlockwise, the transverse moving plate 7 can be moved in the direction far away from the driving bolt 2, the lifting plate 6 moves upwards under the action of the inclined plane to drive the turning tool to move upwards, when the driving bolt 2 is rotated clockwise, the transverse moving plate 7 can be moved in the direction close to the driving bolt 2, the lifting plate 6 moves downwards under the action of the inclined plane to drive the turning tool to move downwards, and when the tool point of the turning tool is equal to the rotary axis of a workpiece in height, the fastening bolt is rotated by a wrench to clamp and fix the turning tool.
Because the bottom surface of the lifting plate 6 and the top surface of the transverse moving plate 7 are inclined planes with the inclination of 1:10, the up-down moving distance of the lifting plate 6 is only one tenth of the back-and-forth moving distance of the transverse moving plate 7, and the accurate adjustment of the height of the turning tool can be realized.
