Abstract

本发明涉及一种丙烯酸共聚物、压敏胶及制备方法和在偏光片中的应用,按质量百分比计,包括以下组分软单体20%~35%,硬单体3%~9%,功能单体0.5%~5%,自由基引发剂0.05%‑0.5%,溶剂55%~75%。将所述的丙烯酸共聚物、所述的交联剂、所述的硅烷偶联剂和所述的溶剂混合均匀,静置消泡,得到压敏胶涂布液,然后将所述的压敏胶涂布液均匀涂布在离型膜上,进行烘干工序及熟化工序,制得压敏胶。本发明的丙烯酸压敏胶对偏光片粘结力好,耐高温高湿,耐老化性能好且透光率高;而且反应过程温和易于控制,可挥发性单体残留少等优点。

一种丙烯酸共聚物、压敏胶及制备方法和在偏光片中的应用
技术领域
本发明具体涉及一种丙烯酸共聚物、压敏胶及制备方法和在偏光片中的应用。
背景技术
偏光片的全称是偏振光片,液晶显示器的成像必须依靠偏振光,所有的液晶都有前后两片偏振光片紧贴在液晶玻璃,组成总厚度1mm左右的液晶片。
偏光片的基本结构包括:最中间的PVA层(聚乙烯醇)、两层TAC层(三醋酸纤维素)、PSA film(压敏胶)、Release film(离型膜)和Protective film(保护膜)。其中,起到偏振作用的是PVA层,但是PVA极易水解,为了保护偏光膜的物理特性,因此在PVA的两侧各复合一层具有高光透过率、耐水性好又有一定机械强度的(TAC)薄膜进行防护,这就形成了偏光片原板。在普通TN型LCD偏光片生产中,根据不同的使用要求,需要在偏光片原板的一侧涂复一定厚度的PSA(压敏胶),并复合上对PSA进行保护的离型膜;而在另一侧要根据产品类型,分别复合保护膜、反射膜、半透半反胶层膜,由此形成偏光片成品。使用时撕去离型膜,就可以方便地将偏光片贴到液晶显示器的玻璃基板上。对STN型LCD偏光片产品,还要在PSA层一侧,根据客户的不同需要,按一定的补偿角度复合具有一定位相差补偿值的位相差膜和保护膜,由此形成STN型LCD偏光片产品。
为了适应在液晶显示器中的应用,不仅要求压敏胶粘结性能好,还要求其具有优异的耐高温、高湿性能,并且具有高透光率,同时不会随时间推移而发生性能大幅下降等特点。市面上常见的偏光片专用压敏胶基本都是日韩企业的产品,虽然性能优异且经历过市场的验证,但往往价格较高,产品交货周期长,而且不能进行定向开发。国内产品相对来说交货周期短,并且在一定程度上是可以定向开发的,但是目前国产偏光片专用压敏胶与日韩企业产品相比,在性能上还是存在有一定的差距,并且大多数产品是通过外购丙烯酸聚合物后期添加不同的助剂及填料来达到各自不同的效果,由于丙烯酸聚合物不是自主合成,因此未能实现真正意义上的定向开发。
例如,现有压敏胶专利CN 101831260A公布了一种偏光片用胶粘剂及使用该胶粘剂的偏光片,通过往丙烯酸聚合物添加1-20um的扩散粒子,来达到光学扩散的效果。
现有偏光片压敏胶专利CN 106520034 A公开了一种反射型高耐久偏光片用压敏胶,压敏胶主剂包括重量百分比为80%-85%、重均分子量为70000-800000的丙烯酸酯聚合物,重量百分比为14.8%-19%、重均分子量30000-200000的丙烯酸羟乙酯聚合物,和重量百分比0.2%-1.0%的架桥剂,其在传统压敏胶的配方下,减少了胶水中的羧酸基含量,使胶水既保持了原有与偏光片及铝反射膜之间的粘着力和高耐久性,又减少了胶水中H+离子对铝反射膜的腐蚀。
现有偏光片压敏胶专利CN 110437749 A公开了一种偏光片用压敏胶,其组份为丙烯酸酯类共聚物、稀释剂、丙烯酸酯和改性剂,该专利通过添加改性剂,有效提高了压敏胶的粘结强度和初粘性,同时改善产品的耐高低温性能;采用的稀释剂,降低了压敏胶的流动性,有效防止了溢胶现象的产生。
上述专利中使用的丙烯酸聚合物都不是自主研发的,而是通过外购丙烯酸聚合物后期添加不同的助剂或填料来达到各自不同的效果,虽然应用性比较强,但聚合物不是自主合成,而压敏胶的性能大多由外购的丙烯酸聚合物来决定的,仅通过添加助剂和填料的方式对其性能调节有限,无法保证多项性能都满足客户需求,且一般外购的丙烯酸共聚物价格较高,难以平衡成本及性能要求。
发明内容
本发明所要解决的技术问题是提供一种丙烯酸共聚物,由其制备的偏光片压敏胶成本低廉,在保证良好的粘接性能及较高的透光率的同时,还具有优异的耐老化性能,长时间处于高温高湿环境中也不会出现气泡或边缘翘起的现象。
为了达到上述目的,本发明采用如下技术方案:
本发明一方面提供一种丙烯酸共聚物,按质量百分比计,所述的丙烯酸共聚物包括以下组分:

所述的硬单体为甲基丙烯酸甲酯、甲基丙烯酸乙酯、苯乙烯、丙烯腈、甲基丙烯酸异冰片酯、甲基丙烯酸正丁酯、丙烯酸叔丁酯中的一种或几种;
所述的功能单体为丙烯酸羟乙酯、丙烯酸、丙烯酰胺、甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯中的一种或几种。

本发明第二方面还提供一种所述的丙烯酸共聚物的制备方法,将所述的软单体,所述的硬单体,所述的功能单体和所述的溶剂加入反应器中并混合均匀,在惰性气体保护下,于65-70℃下,向所述的反应器中加入所述的自由基引发剂,保温反应6-8h,反应结束后冷却出料得到所述的丙烯酸共聚物。
本发明中,所述的惰性气体优选为氮气。
本发明中,所述的自由基引发剂可一次性加入或分2~4加入。
本发明第三方面还提供一种偏光片压敏胶,按重量份数计,所述的压敏胶包括以下组分:

本发明中,使用手涂刮刀将所述的压敏胶均匀的涂布在25PET离型膜上,于75~85℃烘箱中烘干,2~6分钟后取出,然后在40~50℃烘房内静置熟化40~60h。
本发明的反应过程温和易于控制,可挥发性单体残留少。
本发明的第五方面还提供一种所述的偏光片中的应用。
由于采用上述技术方案,本发明与现有技术相比具有如下优点:
使用本发明的丙烯酸共聚物制备的压敏胶成本低廉,耐老化性能好,长时间处于高温高湿环境中也不会出现气泡或边缘翘起的现象,同时粘结性能、透光率等综合性能好,且上述性能指标可以根据客户要求定制。
具体实施方式
下面结合具体的实施案例对本发明的技术方案进一步描述,但本发明不只限于下面的实施例。实施例中采用的实施条件可以根据具体要求做进一步调整,未注明的实施条件通常为常规实验中的条件。
本发明中使用的原料和试剂均可通过市售获得。
实施例1

丙烯酸共聚物的制备:采用自由基热聚合方法,将上述原料单体与溶剂充分混合,导入氮气并加热至68℃后,将偶氮二异丁腈一次性投入反应容器中,68℃反应7h,反应结束后冷却出料。

偏光片压敏胶膜的制备:将步骤1的丙烯酸共聚物,交联剂,硅烷偶联剂与溶剂混合,搅拌均匀后静置消泡,得到偏光片压敏胶涂布液。使用手涂刮刀将消泡完毕的偏光片压敏胶涂布液均匀的涂布在25PET离型膜上,于80℃烘箱中烘干,3-4分钟烘干后取出,并在45℃烘房内静置熟化48h,得到偏光片压敏胶膜。涂布时通过调节刮刀与离型膜的间隙来控制胶层厚度为22μm。

偏光片压敏胶膜的制备:与实施例1基本相同,区别在于胶层厚度为23μm。
对各实施例和各对比例所得的偏光片敏胶膜进行性能测试。将各实施例和各对比例制备得的偏光片压敏胶膜分别贴合PET作为背部支撑,移除25PET离型膜与偏光片或SUS板贴合,按照GB/T2792-1998制样测试压敏胶与偏光片的粘着力,并查看压敏胶自偏光片上撕除后,偏光片上的残胶情况;按照GB/T4851-1998制样测试压敏胶与SUS板的保持力。将各实施例和各对比例所得偏光片压敏胶膜贴合偏光片,另一面贴合玻璃并确保表面平整无气泡,按100mm*100mm规格制样,放入85℃,85%RH的温湿度烘箱中经历500小时老化。将各实施例和各对比例所得偏光片压敏胶膜按ASTM D1003测试胶膜透光率。上述测试项目所得测试结果见表1。

Claims (9)

1.一种压敏胶,其特征在于:按重量份数计,所述的压敏胶包括以下组分:
丙烯酸共聚物 28%~42%;
交联剂 0.05%~0.5%;
硅烷偶联剂 0.5%~3%;
第一溶剂 55%~70%,
按质量百分比计,所述的丙烯酸共聚物包括以下组分:
软单体 20%~35%;
硬单体 3%~9%;
功能单体 0.5%~5%;
自由基引发剂 0.05%~0.5%;
第二溶剂 55%~75%,
所述的软单体为丙烯酸异辛酯;
所述的硬单体为丙烯酸甲酯;
所述的功能单体为丙烯酸羟乙酯。
2.根据权利要求1所述的压敏胶,其特征在于:按质量百分比计,所述的丙烯酸共聚物包括以下组分:
软单体 20%~30%;
硬单体 3%~9%;
功能单体 0.5%~5%;
自由基引发剂 0.05%~0.5%;
第二溶剂 55%~75%。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的压敏胶,其特征在于:所述的自由基引发剂为偶氮二异丁腈、过氧化苯甲酰、偶氮二异庚腈中的一种或几种;
所述的第一溶剂和所述的第二溶剂独立地为乙酸乙酯、甲苯、丁酮、二甲基甲酰胺中的一种或几种。
4.根据权利要求1或2所述的压敏胶,其特征在于:所述的丙烯酸共聚物的制备方法为:将所述的软单体、所述的硬单体、所述的功能单体和所述的第二溶剂加入反应器中并混合均匀,在惰性气体保护下,于65-70℃下,向所述的反应器中加入所述的自由基引发剂,保温反应6-8h,反应结束后冷却出料得到所述的丙烯酸共聚物。
5.根据权利要求4所述的压敏胶,其特征在于:所述的惰性气体为氮气,所述的自由基引发剂可一次性投入或分2-4次投入。
6.根据权利要求1或2所述的压敏胶,其特征在于:所述的交联剂为六亚甲基二异氰酸酯、异佛尔酮二异氰酸酯、甲苯二异氰酸酯中的一种或几种;
所述的硅烷偶联剂为γ-氨丙基三乙氧基硅烷、γ-(甲基丙烯酰氧)丙基三甲氧基硅烷、乙烯基三甲氧基硅烷中的一种或几种。
7.根据权利要求1或2所述的压敏胶,其特征在于:所述的压敏胶的厚度为20~25μm,所述的压敏胶上还设置有离型膜。
8.一种如权利要求1至7中任一项所述的压敏胶的制备方法,其特征在于:将所述的丙烯酸共聚物、所述的交联剂、所述的硅烷偶联剂和所述的第一溶剂混合均匀,静置消泡,得到压敏胶涂布液,然后将所述的压敏胶涂布液均匀涂布在离型膜上,进行烘干工序及熟化工序,制得压敏胶。
9.一种如权利要求1至7中任一项所述的压敏胶在偏光片中的应用。
