In this arrangement, the bedside table 2 is slidably connected to the bed body via a sliding plate 52.

The length of the slide groove 51 is equal to or less than the length of the support plate 5. If the length of the sliding groove 51 is equal to the length of the supporting plate 5, the bedside table 2 can be detached and installed from the bed body at any time, and if the length of the sliding groove 51 is equal to the length of the supporting plate 5, the bedside table 2 can be prevented from falling out of the sliding groove 51.
A stopper pad is provided between the slide plate 52 and the slide groove 51. This arrangement acts as a stop for the sliding plate 52 and prevents the bedside table 2 from easily falling out of the sliding slot 51.
