本公开内容涉及一种电池模块,更具体地,涉及一种包括感测电池模块的柔性印刷电路板的电池模块。
背景技术
由于二次电池容易应用于各种产品门类并且具有诸如高能量密度之类的电特性,因此二次电池不仅普遍应用于便携式装置,而且还普遍应用于由电驱动源驱动的电动车辆或混合动力电动车辆、能量储存系统等。由于二次电池提供了显著减少化石燃料的使用并且从能量的使用也根本不产生副产物的主要优点,因此二次电池作为用于提高能量效率的新的环境友好能源而受到关注。
用在电动车辆中的电池组具有多个电池组件串联连接以获得高输出的结构,每个电池组件都包括多个单元电池。此外,单元电池可因包括正极集流体、负极集流体、隔膜、活性材料、电解质等的部件之间的电化学反应而被反复充电和放电。
另外,近年来,由于随着被用作能量储存系统而对大容量结构的需求增加,因此对具有多模块结构的电池组的需求日益增长,在多模块结构中集成了多个电池模块,每个电池模块都包括串联和/或并联连接的多个二次电池。
当多个电池单元串联或并联连接以构成电池组时,通常先构成由至少一个电池单元组成的电池模块,然后通过使用至少一个电池模块并添加其他部件来构成电池组。根据所需的输出电压或所需的充电/放电容量,可不同地设定电池组中包括的电池单元的数量、或电池模块中包括的电池单元的数量。
配置柔性印刷电路板,使得柔性印刷电路板连接至多个电池单元的每一个,以感测这些电池单元,并且柔性印刷电路板可安装成使得柔性印刷电路板延伸至电池组件的一侧,从而连接至汇流条和连接器。在安装过程中,柔性印刷电路板会暴露于外部,因而当柔性印刷电路板受到损坏时,可导致诸如电路图案的短路或断开之类的问题。
发明内容
技术问题
本公开内容的目的是提供一种电池模块,该电池模块通过形成覆盖柔性印刷电路板的盖而能够保护柔性印刷电路板在组装过程或操作过程中不被损坏。
然而,本公开内容的实施方式要解决的问题不限于上述问题,要解决的问题可在本公开内容中包括的技术思想的范围内进行各种扩展。
技术方案
根据本公开内容一实施方式的电池模块包括:包括至少一个电池单元的电池组件;容纳所述电池组件的模块壳体;上框架,所述上框架位于所述模块壳体中的所述电池组件的一个表面上,以至少部分地覆盖所述电池组件;柔性印刷电路板,所述柔性印刷电路板配置成沿所述上框架的长度方向安装在所述上框架上,以感测所述电池单元;和保护盖,在所述保护盖中,与所述上框架的主表面(main surface)平行的主盖部安装在所述上框架上,从而在所述模块壳体中覆盖所述柔性印刷电路板。
所述柔性印刷电路板包括在所述上框架的端部处朝向所述电池组件的一侧弯曲的弯曲部分,并且所述保护盖可在其至少一侧的端部进一步包括檐部,所述檐部被弯曲并延伸,以对应于所述柔性印刷电路板的所述弯曲部分。
所述保护盖可进一步包括被弯曲以围绕所述电池组件的边缘的边缘部,并且所述檐部和所述边缘部可相对于所述主盖部的主表面以不同的角度延伸。
所述檐部相对于所述主盖部的主表面弯曲的角度可形成为比所述边缘部相对于所述主盖部的主表面弯曲的角度小。
所述檐部可以是通过切割所述边缘部的一部分而形成的。

有益效果
根据实施方式,由于电池模块配置成使得位于覆盖电池组件的上框架的外侧的柔性印刷电路板被保护盖覆盖,因此有效防止了对柔性印刷电路板的损坏。
此外,通过在电池组件的一个边缘处弯曲的部分中设置保护盖的檐部,可有效保护柔性印刷电路板。

参照图1,电池模块10包括:电池组件20;和上框架31,上框架31位于电池组件20的一个表面上,以至少部分地覆盖电池组件20。通过堆叠多个电池单元21来构成电池组件20,其中每个电池单元21都可被设置为袋型二次电池。多个电池单元21可彼此电连接,并且每个电池单元21都可包括电极组件、容纳电极组件的电池壳体、和电连接至电极组件并且从电池壳体伸出的电极引线23。
上框架31定位成围绕电池组件20的上表面,汇流条框架53位于电池组件20的在引出电极引线23的方向上的一侧。汇流条51固定至汇流条框架53的外侧,从而形成汇流条组件50,并且电池组件20的电极引线23穿过形成在汇流条框架53中的狭缝并电连接至汇流条51。上框架31和汇流条框架53可由绝缘材料,例如,不导电的合成树脂制成,汇流条51可由导电金属材料制成。

另外,设置模块壳体35,从而容纳电池组件20和上框架31。模块壳体35形成电池模块10的外壳,汇流条组件50结合至电池组件20的位于引出电极引线23的方向上的一侧或两侧,并且端板60结合至汇流条组件50的外侧。此外,柔性印刷电路板40安装在模块壳体35的内部的上框架31的一个表面上。
此外,电池模块10可包括各种电部件,例如可包括内部电路板(Internal CircuitBoard,ICB)、电池管理系统(Battery Management System,BMS)等。诸如ICB和BMS之类的电部件可电连接至多个电池单元。
参照图2,柔性印刷电路板40在经过上框架31与汇流条框架53相交的边缘时形成弯曲部分43。如此弯曲的柔性印刷电路板40电连接至模块连接器和汇流条51。
安装在上框架31上并且朝向汇流条框架53弯曲的柔性印刷电路板40在上侧面对模块壳体35的内表面,并且向前或向后面对端板60的内表面。因此,当在制造过程中将柔性印刷电路板40安放在上框架31上之后组装端板60和模块壳体35时,暴露于外部的柔性印刷电路板40可能被损坏。此时,存在柔性印刷电路板40的电路图案断开的可能性,并且如果在电路图案之间存在串扰,则可能发生短路(short circuit)并因而可能起火。
此外,柔性印刷电路板40的弯曲部分43未被牢固地固定至上框架31或汇流条框架53,而是部分地浮置在空间中。结果,当发生外部冲击或振动时,弯曲部分43与模块壳体35或端板60的内表面摩擦,因而柔性印刷电路板40的保护层被剥离,电路图案层露出,这会引起诸如短路之类的问题。
图3是示出根据本公开内容实施方式的电池模块的分解透视图,图4是结合图3的电池模块,示出部分“A”的局部放大透视图,图5是沿图4中的线V-V截取的剖面图。
参照图3,根据本实施方式的电池模块100可原样包括图1中所示的电池模块10的大部分构造。就是说,电池模块100包括:包括多个电池单元21的电池组件20;和上框架131,上框架131位于电池组件20的一个表面上,以至少部分地覆盖电池组件20。汇流条框架53位于电池组件20的在引出电极引线23的方向上的一侧,并且汇流条51固定至汇流条框架53的外侧,从而形成汇流条组件50。电池组件20的电极引线23可经由形成在汇流条框架53中的狭缝电连接至汇流条51。
柔性印刷电路板140配置成使得柔性印刷电路板140沿上框架131的长度方向延伸并安装,以感测电池单元21。此外,柔性印刷电路板140在上框架131的端部处形成朝向汇流条框架53弯曲的弯曲部分143的同时连接至模块连接器和汇流条51。
此外,设置模块壳体35,从而容纳电池组件20和上框架131。汇流条组件50结合至电池组件20的位于引出电极引线23的方向上的一侧或两侧,并且端板60结合至汇流条组件50的外侧。柔性印刷电路板140安装在模块壳体35内部的上框架131的一个表面上。
参照图3和图4,可在上框架131上安装保护盖170,以覆盖柔性印刷电路板140。保护盖170可包括:与上框架131的主表面(main surface)平行的主盖部171、和被弯曲以围绕电池组件20的边缘的边缘部173。此外,保护盖170可包括檐部175,檐部175被弯曲并延伸以对应于柔性印刷电路板140的弯曲部分143。
当将电池组件20和上框架131容纳在模块壳体35中时,保护盖170可覆盖并保护安装在上框架131上的柔性印刷电路板140。由此,能够防止柔性印刷电路板140在组装过程中暴露,从而防止损坏。
另外,保护盖170的檐部175和边缘部173可相对于主盖部171的主表面以彼此不同的角度延伸。就是说,如图4中所示,檐部175相对于主盖部171的主表面弯曲的角度可形成为比边缘部173弯曲的角度小。可通过切割保护盖170的边缘部173的一部分来形成檐部175。另外,参照图5,保护盖170的檐部175可位于柔性印刷电路板140的弯曲部分143与端板60之间。
就是说,保护盖170的檐部175可定位成与柔性印刷电路板140中的进行延伸以连接至模块连接器或汇流条51的部分对应。因此,保护盖170的檐部175比边缘部173向上提起,使得柔性印刷电路板140的弯曲部分143不会急剧弯曲。
保护盖170可由不导电的注射成型材料制成,使得保护盖170覆盖柔性印刷电路板140,但即使在保护盖170与柔性印刷电路板140接触时也不存在诸如短路之类的电干扰。
另外,再次返回参照图3和图4,保护盖170可包括加强部176,加强部176沿着电池组件20的长度方向延伸并且从外部观察时形成为凹进形状。在这种情况下,可并排形成多个加强部176,并且柔性印刷电路板140可位于彼此相邻的加强部176之间。
加强部176可防止板状保护盖170容易扭曲或变形,并且可提高强度。此外,由于柔性印刷电路板140位于相邻的加强部176之间,因此柔性印刷电路板140不会在上框架131上移动并且柔性印刷电路板140的位置可被固定。
根据本公开内容另一实施方式,覆盖柔性印刷电路板的保护盖不分别包括具有不同弯曲角度的檐部和边缘部,而是可形成为具有以单个角度弯曲的檐部。因此,当柔性印刷电路板的设计根据电池模块的类型而变化时,优点在于不管柔性印刷电路板的弯曲部分的位置如何都能够通用。
根据本公开内容又一个实施方式,可根据柔性印刷电路板的设计来设计加强部并且将其应用于保护盖。在这种情况下,可更精确地覆盖和保护柔性印刷电路板。
另外,可将根据本公开内容实施方式的一个或多个电池模块封装在电池组壳体中,以形成电池组。
上述电池模块和包括该电池模块的电池组可应用于各种装置。这些装置包括但不限于诸如电动自行车、电动车辆和混合动力车辆之类的交通工具,并且本公开内容可应用于能够使用任意电池模块和包括这些电池模块的任意电池组的各种装置,这也落入本公开内容的范围内。
尽管上面已经详细描述了本公开内容的优选实施方式,但是本公开内容的范围不限于此,本领域技术人员使用由随后权利要求限定的本公开内容的基本构思做出的各种修改和改进也属于权利的范围。

Claims (9)
1.一种电池模块,包括:
包括至少一个电池单元的电池组件;
容纳所述电池组件的模块壳体;
上框架,所述上框架位于所述模块壳体中的所述电池组件的一个表面上,以至少部分地覆盖所述电池组件;
柔性印刷电路板,所述柔性印刷电路板配置成沿所述上框架的长度方向安装在所述上框架上,以感测所述电池单元;和
保护盖,在所述保护盖中,与所述上框架的主表面平行的主盖部安装在所述上框架上,从而在所述模块壳体中覆盖所述柔性印刷电路板,
其中所述柔性印刷电路板包括在所述上框架的端部处朝向所述电池组件的一侧弯曲的弯曲部分,并且
所述保护盖在其至少一侧的端部进一步包括檐部,所述檐部被弯曲并延伸,以对应于所述柔性印刷电路板的所述弯曲部分,
其中所述保护盖进一步包括被弯曲以围绕所述电池组件的边缘的边缘部,并且
所述檐部和所述边缘部相对于所述主盖部的主表面以不同的角度延伸。
2.根据权利要求1所述的电池模块,其中所述檐部相对于所述主盖部的主表面弯曲的角度形成为比所述边缘部相对于所述主盖部的主表面弯曲的角度小。
3.根据权利要求1所述的电池模块,其中所述檐部是通过切割所述边缘部的一部分而形成的。
4.根据权利要求1所述的电池模块,进一步包括:
汇流条组件,所述汇流条组件包括电连接至所述电池组件的电极引线的汇流条、和在至少一侧覆盖所述电池组件的汇流条框架;以及
在外侧覆盖所述汇流条组件的端板,
其中所述保护盖的所述檐部位于所述柔性印刷电路板的所述弯曲部分与所述端板之间。
5.根据权利要求1所述的电池模块,其中所述保护盖由不导电的注射成型材料制成。
6.根据权利要求1所述的电池模块,其中所述保护盖进一步包括加强部,所述加强部沿着所述电池组件的长度方向延伸并且从外部观察时形成为凹进形状。
7.根据权利要求6所述的电池模块,其中形成有多个加强部,并且所述柔性印刷电路板位于相邻的加强部之间。
8.一种电池组,包括:
至少一个根据权利要求1至7中任一项所述的电池模块;和
封装所述至少一个电池模块的电池组壳体。
9.一种包括至少一个根据权利要求8所述的电池组的装置。
