The working principle or the operation method of the invention comprises the steps of fixedly connecting a clamp 2 on the corner hole of a heat exchanger plate 16 respectively, closing a water outlet pipe 5 and a valve 9 of a water inlet pipe 6 respectively when the water surface height in a first water tank 1 is higher than the height of the heat exchanger plate 16, opening a valve switch 4 arranged on an air supply pipe 3, starting an air supply device 10, knowing the air pressure value through an air pressure meter 11, closing the air supply device 10 and the valve switch 4 after the air pressure in the heat exchanger plate 16 reaches a measurement requirement value, standing the heat exchanger plate 16 in water for a plurality of minutes, observing whether bubbles are generated or not, judging whether the tightness of the air meets the standard or not, opening the valve 9 of the water outlet pipe 5 after the test is finished, discharging air in the heat exchanger plate 16, closing the valve switch 4, opening the valve 9 of the water inlet pipe 6, starting a water pump 8, injecting water into the heat exchanger plate 16 through the water inlet pipe 6, and discharging the water through the water outlet pipe 5, observing a flowmeter 7 in the process, judging whether the air flow meets the standard or not, discharging the water from the water outlet pipe 5, entering the first water tank 1, opening a large valve 14, and recycling the water tank 12 again because the water surface in the first water tank 1 is higher than the second water tank 12.
